Flight From Triple Zero (PM to join)

When I'd taken out the two assassins towards the back I'd seen two more that'd been choked into unconsiousness by the Firedancer. Now though it seemed she'd left the pub...four assassins had already been eliminated in non-lethal ways. But now that half of them were unconscious the others were bound to notice. Moving my right hand to my left hip I wrapped my my hand around the hilt of Serenity then placed my left hand on the blaster pistol on my left thigh. Moving towards Jae I said "We've got half of these people dealt with but there are four more somewhere in this pub. Time to start getting ready to leave Jae, we need to find the bartender and start making plans for getting out of here...."

Hopefully the Farghul would be open to help, and not wanting to blow us away....

Jae watched as Andorreth took care of a couple of the assassins, she couldn't help but laugh lightly at his performance, it was somewhat amusing to her, or perhaps she just liked looking at him? She started to scan the pub and noticed herself at least four more figures that lurked around the area. Still keeping her eyes on the individuals moving around the pub her hand slid over to her holster with Andorreth's blaster, making sure she had it with her. She looked back when Andorreth had returned, explaining that there were about four men left, and that now is as good a time as any to start making an exit, but not before finding the bartender. "I'll try look for him and head towards the exits." She explained in a low tone.

She got up from her seat and started to make her way towards one of the exits near the counter of the bar. Apparently she didn't make herself look inconspicuous enough as one of the presumed assassins stood in front of her, blocking her way. She looked up and internally cursed, there was no way she'd get out of this with brute force, simply because he was much larger compared to her. "Oh sorry, I didn't see you there...how's your day been?" Leave it to Jae to smooth talk her way out of situations, much like this one. She had no idea what was going on in her head but for some reason she was compelled that she'd be able to land a punch on this guy and in turn attempted to do so. Although he managed to catch her wrist before it made contact with him, "That played out a lot better in my head.." She regretted her choice of action instantly, 'flirt to distract them' Andorreth's words played on in her head. 'oh yeh!' She looked back up the man, "How about I buy you a drink?" She went for a second attempt, but given the look he gave her he wasn't too happy with either attempt. Given his aggressive look she instinctively went for the blaster in her holster, but he managed to catch her hand just before it got there, 'man this guy was quick!'. She laughed nervously as she honestly had no idea how she was going to get herself out of this situation.

He snarled and threw her back across the pub, she landed and rolled into the front of the counter, propping herself up on her forearms, she shook her head, trying to escape the spinning daze she was currently in at the moment. When she looked up the assassin had pulled a blaster on her, "Huh, yours is bigger than mine." She then heard the blaster charge up, "..Feth." She rapidly got to her feet and jumped over the bar counter, swinging her legs over and ducking down as several bottles of alcohol got shot.

Watching the struggle I can't help but get involved at this point. I had faced and cleaned all those bottles to perfection! But not only are they tearing the bar apart but now they're attacking my customers? Nah that I won't stand for. Jumping out of my seat, i pull the knife from my robes, sneaking behind the assailant, giving a quick slice through the throat, the assassin dropping to the floor, leaving a mess. Good thing I'm finished here. No mopping for me.

I quickly realize that the other two assassins are quick to respond, I dive behind the counter next to the woman attacked earlier, a blaster bolt clipping my ear. Little too close. At this point I'm all bloodied up from the previous struggle and clothing disheveled. I turn to the woman, contemplating introducing myself but now hardly seems the time. "Stay down" I advise her, before grabbing an amazingly intact bottle, throwing it at a thug behind one of the assassins, who's completely disinvolved himself from the scene.

The burly man barely moves as the glass breaks upon impact, slowly standing up and turning around to face the assassin growling like a feral beast. He grabs him by the collar, giving a hard right hook into his skull. Well I don't think he's getting up any time soon. There's still too much fire though to attempt a direct assault. "That's one down." I inform the woman, trying to save my blaster charge for when it's absolutely needed.

Oh goodness...well this was potentially problematic. So thankfully I didn't have to pretend to be the hapless drunkard anymore. Going into a run I slid on my shin as I pulled the blade from the inverted sheathe on my back slicing through muscle, tendon, and feeling the blade bite into bone. The assassin howled in pain before dropping and jerking my elbow back against his face he dropped into blissful unconsciousness. The other assassin came around a corner with an autofire blaster and blasting the bar. I waited one, two, three seconds until he went to reload and simply came around the corner and pulling my blaster with my free hand. Then I pinned him against the wall and shot him twice in both legs dropping him. He was still reaching for a weapon though and I had to say he was persistent if nothing else.

Looking at him I sighed and simply kicked my boot into his face hearing bone crunch. Looking back towards the bar I simply strolled over after re-holstering my blaster and reached for the top shelf. Pulling the silenced pistol from my right thigh holster I locked it to the safe position and tossed it towards the Farghul and said "Might need this here soon my man." Looking at the top shelf again I said " Mind if I grab a few bottles of booze? I mean I'm guessing you're not gonna be working here anymore....kark it! I'm getting some Corellian whiskey and a bottle of the red." Stashing them in my coat I reached for the vodka and other highly flammable alcohol, grabbed a few rags and after tearing them into strips and stuffing them into the bottles I handed one each to the Farghul and to Jae. "Alright everyone may I have your attention please?! The bar is now closed and we'd like to ask you kindly to leave!" Pouring some vodka on the bar I found a heating element and lit the bar on fire. Looking at Jae I said "His may have been big but it's how you use it. Plus he was a terrible shot... Me? I don't miss."

Looking at the Farghul I said "I highly suggest we leave but I wanna know why they want you dead. Care to enlighten us? By the way the name is Andorreth, the lovely young lady you helped out is Jae. Thanks for that by the way it'd realllly suck to have something happen to my new pilot. I'd be quite upset..." Walking towards the exit I kicked open the door and lit a bottle of vodka before tossing it against the floor of the pub. The alcohol that'd spilled all over the floor ignited and I walked out the door hopefully with Jae and the Farghul behind me...

She took the bottle that was handed to her, the rag inside of it. She looked over the counter and stood up once again as Andorreth made an announcement to everyone who had come to the pub, politely telling them to evacuate the pub. A few of them knew it was good for them and did what was asked, heading towards the exits. As for the more stubborn characters around the joint they were adamant on finishing their drink. It wasn't until Andorreth lit the bar on fire when they realised it was probably in everybody's best interests to leave the pub.

She turned to Andorreth as he began speaking to her, she smirked at his confidence when it came to not missing. She wasn't judging him in the slightest, that was the exact same way she acted when it came to flying. Everyone had their strong points. She nodded when the three of them started to move out and head towards the exits. Jae fell behind as she quickly went to the bar, now in flames, and held the bottle over the fire, catching onto the rag and quickly throwing it to another area in the bar before running and catching up with the other two.

She nodded in agreement as Andorreth introduced the two of them to the Farghul. "Thanks for your help back there." She smiled in acknowledgement. Finally outside the pub, Jae dusted herself down, coughing once or twice as smoke started emerge. How eventful the past few minutes have been! She was about to ask Andorreth if now was when they'd be getting off Nar Shadaa though she remembered he wanted to know why those assassins wanted the Farghul dead. And frankly she was quite curious too.

Takes the bottle and nods, noting that this is the last I'll see of the place. "Not gonna miss this place by a long shot. Though the booze was good." I chuckle a bit slightly amused by the rush of bar flies zipping out of the bar, some holding onto their drinks, others stumbling in a drunken stupor as they scurried. "My friends call me Crosswire. Pleasure to meet you two." I stick my hand out for a handshake, however feeling awfully formal.

"As for the assassins, short story is that I took something from the people they work from that's very valuable. As for the full story, you may need to wait a bit. Besides, we probably don't want to stand around. Those were probably only a few of who they sent after me. As for helping Jae, I figured it was only just since you were helping me as well." I smile back at Jae and nod, accepting her thanks. I snag a small flask and fill it with rum before following Andorreth to the exit, fitting the flask to my belt. Gonna need this later. "Keep an eye out. Not all of these fools are in dark cloaks." I warn, keeping my holdout pistol ready inside my robes, eyeing the crowd for any suspicious figures, as well as keeping my tail up from the peoples feet. Last thing I need is someone stepping on it to catch me and take me silently.

As for these two... I don't know if I fully trust them yet. Sure they're helping, however they didn't know they were, or who they were helping. I may just utilize this as an opportunity to have an escort until I can get myself off of the planet. "So whats the plan here?" I look at Andorreth expectantly

[member="Jae Jordan "]| [member="Andorreth Vikar"]

Smiling I walked out into the crowd with Jae and Crosswire now following me. As he asked about the plan I turned slightly and said "short version? Snag a ride, avoid being shot at and book it back to my ship. From there we can drop you off someplace or you can stick around and add your skills to the crew. Your choice really I mean I'd suggest staying with me as allies are usually a good thing when on the run..." I kept scanning the crowd and after a few minutes I saw what I was looking for...a swoop bike. Oh...oh my and it was a nice one too, complete with a small turret available from the rear seat.

Locking eyes with Jae I said "Ever stolen a vehicle Jae? It's quite a rush..." Looking at Crosswire I said "A'ight Crosswire, see that swoop bike with the turret in the back? We're gonna steal it and use it as a getaway vehicle. There are four more guys in the crowd and they are spreading out. Don't know what kinda weapons they have and odds are the vehicle we're gonna make off with is theirs. Odds also are that if the want you dead this bad then we're gonna be dealing with a pursuit team among other surprises." Sighing I looked at Jae then back at Crosswire and decided that if nothing else someone was going to need to have some cover. "Crosswire, I'm gonna hotwire the swoop bike and Jae is gonna provide some cover fire with the turret in the back. Odds are there's shielding so you'll be back there too watching her back. Not open for debate unfortunately...Also you're going to be borrowing, and I mean that seriously my rifle. I want it back in one piece and I don't wanna have to buy another they are quite pricey."

Unclipping the Wraith blaster rifle from the harness in my duster I discreetly handed it to Crosswire. "Once they realize I'm trying to hotwire this thing I'm gonna be under fire and we'll need to defend this thing for a couple minutes." Looking at Jae I said "Sparks flying in a bar and now a theft of vehicles one might think I'm a corrupter of innocence..."

She listened as the two of them conversed about the plan, equally as interested as to what was going to happen next. She nodded in agreement about needing allies when one was being 'hunted' and on the run. Allies usually turn out to be your greatest asset when in tough situations. She noticed Andorreth's gaze run past Crosswire and herself she looked back, trying to follow his gaze. She ceased looking when Andorreth asked her whether she'd stolen a vehicle before, "Uh, no.." She said laughing, though she was about to do so any second now.

She looked around and noticed the four men as well, at least she thought they were the right men. She listened to the plan carefully making sure she knew exactly what was going on. Get to the turret and provide cover, sounded simple enough. This was going to be fun. They'd have a few minutes without being detected but once the men realised their vehicle was about to be stolen she'd have to jump on the turret and start giving the cover fire that was needed. Looking at Andorreth when he spoke to her she laughed at him calling himself a corrupter of innocence. She shrugged in response before speaking, "At least you're a good looking one." She smiled before the trio started to make their way towards the swoop bike, so far so good.

She stood near the bike though leaned on a steel structure behind her, as a way to look a little less suspicious as Andorreth began to hotwire the swoop bike. She kept her eyes on all the four men making sure none of them were up to something. Despite not knowing Crosswire for very long she had to place trust in him that he'd watch her back whilst she gave the necessary cover. Times like these called for unexpected trust. "How long's it going to take you to hotwire that thing?" She asked gently, not sounding like she was rushing him. She looked up and saw a man reach into his jacket, her hand drifted down to the blaster in her holster, already pulling it half out of the holster when she saw the man was simply pulling out a datapad. She sighed and relaxed once more leaving the blaster alone for the time being.

She watched Andorreth pick around the wiring as he attempted to hotwire the vehicle when she heard a man exclaim something about a swoop bike, chances were pretty high that he was referring to them, she thought to herself. When she looked around trying to find the individual the voice came from she walked over to the rear seat of the swoop bike and prepared the turret when she finally pinpointed the few men who were on their way towards the trio, revealing their own blasters. Here we go..

After listening to his plan, I nod at Andorreth taking the rifle, giving the charge handle a pull to make sure it's primed. "I call the turret when we take off." I say smirking a bit. It's been a while since I've taken the fight to these guys and I had a much needed score to settle. I chuckle from Jae's comment about Andorreth, giving her a bit of a elbow jab. "Anything else you have to say to him while we're waiting for death?" I say meaning it as a joke but quickly realize how dark that sounded. "Sorry. We'll be fine."

I stand near Jae, watching our blind spots and getting the rifle ready, searching through the crowd, looking for movement that did not match the flow of the crowd. After their announcement in the crowed, screaming about the bike, that's when I finally see one. Due to people being shoved left and right, and his head bobbing over everyone. I say to Jae sideways, "Lets not make too much of a mess of this crowd. When they pop out from the crowd, I'm going to throw a shot out of harms way of the crowd. Least that'll give them a warning before the fight starts. Believe me these guys don't care who dies so long as they get to me."

I steady myself and slow my breathing. Need to slow my heart rate, or my aim is not gonna be as it should be. All that running did not help. One of them is just about out of the crowd, so I throw a shot right over where he's at, away from the crowd, exposing each of their number as the crowd breaks apart and hits the floor. I throw a shot at one of their heads, however they were already in the process of diving them self behind a support post. Damn. A few blaster bolts fly past my head. The guy in the front of them all has a full auto assault blaster. Priorities. I swing my rifle towards him giving him a couple solid holes in the chest. That's one.

I check our back to make sure things are clear there as well. Last we need is an ambush. I catch a bit of movement behind some cover to our left. They're checking to see if we're watching. I quickly orient myself to our left popping a few shots near that cover to keep them pinned down.

Smiling as I pulled the coverings off the wires I simply said "Can't rush art Jae...Now was it red-red- green or red-green-red?" Just then I heard shouting and had a second to think crap. Twining the wires together I got power to the thing and then heard the radio kick on.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNJpvahstFs
Sighing I said "Least we'll have some music for a fight and chase now that the karking radio is on..." Sticking my head back under the wheel I tapped my foot to the beat and began twining more wire together and then tried the the throttle and controls one second, two, three and then I heard a low hum and giving it a rev I heard the engine roar. Looking back at Jae I said "Jae turret! Gonna need some time to have the engines heat up properly! After that we're out of here!" Racking the slide to engage the charge on my other blaster pistol I dove back behind the swoop just as we had some guests show up several bolts fly past me as Crosswire nailed a few of the assassins that'd been coming up behind me.

Now the only issue was holding out until we had a full charge on the engines. I heard a low thrumming and saw a dropship come over the bones of the bar we'd just torched. "Guys?! Dropship! Crosswire shoot the pilot!" Oh this was gonna be fun....

[member="Jae Jordan "]- [member="Trelock Relon"]

My ears perk up at the sound of the radio, chuckling a bit, giving another one of the assassins a nice lead sandwich to the mouth. "Well this would be a scene fitting for a movie." I say turning to another one of the guys filling them with a few more bullet holes. Just like Swiss cheese. Ohhh thats great on grilled cheese. ...Great now I'm hungry.

Damn it Trelock focus! Catching Andorreth's call out of the drop ship. I drop to a knee turning towards the ship lining my face against the butt of the stock and down the scope, almost feeling time slow down as I focus on the pilots skull. "Sleep well, mate." I pull the trigger watching the ship veer to the right before pointing down and engaging its forward thrusters straight into the ground. Well there's another 20 men down. I wonder where E. Enterprises gets this sheer number of men. " Or.. Sleep well, crew." Shrugs.

"How much longer?! They're sure to have another ship behind them." During my complaining I noticed I had someone sneak up behind me. I quickly roll behind them, grabbing my knife from my robes, stabbing them once and slitting their throat. That was close. Almost a meat shield.

Hearing the engine whir, rumble and finally roar to life I yell out "A'ight mount up everyone! Jae grab the rifle from Crosswire, Crosswire you're on the turret!" Jumping over the hood of the swoop I slid into the drivers seat and closed the door as Jae slid in next to me in the passenger seat. Crosswire looked like he was filled with glee at the prospect of taking the turret and after making sure everyone was good to go and inside the swoop I gunned the throttle and started a call to Jax's comm. "Jax! Look buddy we're....ahhh we're gonna need to get off Nar Shadaa here quick. I'm bringing some friends and a new ride back to the Rogue's Salvation and we'll need the ramp to the hangar dropped and the engines primed. Is the cargo aboard and locked down?"

"Jax has stored and locked down cargo Captain. Jax will drop hangar ramp and prime engines, Jax also will have ship defenses up and running for your arrival." With that he disconnected, good man Jax... "Alright y'all! We're gonna be doing nothing but making a speed run back to the ship no stops, no slowing down. Crosswire! Have fun with that turret bud!" Quickly glancing at Jae I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and said "Hopefully I get to do that again at some point." Then gunning the engines to the max I started our route back to the Shadowport. Hopefully Bryce wouldn't be too ticked that I'd brought pursuers...

[member="Jae Jordan "]- [member="Trelock Relon"]

Jae took the rifle from Crosswire immediately after Andorreth had given the order, jumping off the turret she moved into the passenger seat and awaited their escape. She looked surprised at Andorreth and smiled when he planted a quick kiss on her cheek, blushing slightly. "So do I." She said in return with a playful smirk. The moment was unfortunately ruined by gunshot behind them. Jae looked back and saw the men hopping on their other swoop bikes, ready to give chase. She sat backwards in the seat, her back to the dashboard as she hung the rifle out the window, holding onto it for dear life as the last thing she wanted as to drop it and tell Andorreth she'd lost his rifle. She aimed it carefully, closing one eyes and taking aim, she fired as the shot flew through the air and hit one of the vehicles in the front, knocking it off course and damaging the engine. "That's one down."

She saw the men bring out their own firearms and blinked once before dashing back into the safety of the vehicle they'd stolen, she looked to Andorreth as he manoeuvred the vehicle and then out in front, through the window. "How far is your ship?"

[member="Andorreth Vikar"] | [member="Trelock Relon"]

Glancing over at Jae I said "Not too far but it'd go a lot faster if there were the sounds of crashing and explosions behind us and not gunfire." My hands were on the steering yokes and I looked over my shoulder briefly and saw some other bikes gaining on us. Sighing I simply looked towards Jae and said "Hold on tight Jae..." Then I jerked the swoop we were in to the right crashing into one of the swoops and forcing it into the wall. Gunning the throttle forward I looked over my shoulder as the swoop I'd forced into the wall careened back into the other swoop and both exploding in fireballs. Looking back forward I looked down at the radio and with my free right hand I flicked on the radio.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wo7rls5TbmY

Well....this matched our current situation. Tense but also rocking out at the same time. Hopefully the engines would hold out unitl we made it to the Rogue's Salvation. Jamming the yokes back forward as far as they'd go I kept the swoop rocketing towards the shadowport. Hopefully Crosswire could keep the guests occupied with that turret...

[member="Jae Jordan "]- [member="Trelock Relon"]

Grinning from ear to ear I hand the rifle over to Jae, jumping into the turret. Been forever since I've been on one of these. "C'mon ya lovers, next stop, endless expanse of space!" I brace myself for impact, quickly realizing what Andoreth is planning, watching the ball of flames burst out behind us.

Bouncing my leg a bit to the music, I swing the turret to the right, above us filling the hull of a ship with holes, giving a light chuckle as I watch them swerve. "That's right fools, dance!" Once they've changed position they've effectively exposed their cockpit to my range of fire, giving their control panel a few hits. That'll give them fair warning to abandon ship. The ship careens into the side of a building, each of the crew jumping ship.

Another drop ship comes in with a couple bikes, nearly getting shot by a bolt. This has happened all too often within the last hour. I feel my hip for my flask to make sure it's still there, which it is. I swing the turret to the earlier offenders, giving their front end a couple of shots, crashing them into the ground. Ouch.

I pull the flask from my hip giving it a chug before slipping it back into my hip, all the while giving them continuous blaster fire to keep them subdued. That's better. Oh wait. Thinking of alcohol... I take out the Molotov from earlier, firing a bolt into the fabric, tossing it at the other bike. "BOMBS AWAY!" It lands a direct hit on the front of their motorized horse engulfing the engine in flames and seizing the bike, making them tumble like dice. This is why I don't gamble. Ya gamble and this is what happens. Ya wind up with your face on the ground in an alleyway somewhere.

[member="Andorreth Vikar"] | @Jae Jordan

Smiling at Crosswire's reaction I looked down at the radar of the swoop and saw we were quickly approaching the shadowport. There were bound to be people inside that wouldn't want to have these assassins in there and rather than slowing down the swoop I instead red-lined the engines and sped even faster into the hangars. I could hear the engine shuddering in the swoop and as we screamed into the hangar ramp I engaged the brakes of the swoop which jerked all of us forward. Kicking open the door of the swoop I looked at Jae and said "Jae with me! Gotta get you to the cockpit!" Looking at Crosswire I said "Crosswire there's turrets that can be manned above the nacelles and you can also network into the defenses and control all the guns from one spot too. Do whatever works for you my man!"

With that I yelled "Jax! Make sure that swoop is locked in place and raise the ramp my man we're outta here!" I looked at Jae and took off running towards the stairs that led up to the officer's deck. From there it'd be a quick jog to the cockpit, hopefully Crosswire would get set up with the guns online...

[member="Jae Jordan "]- [member="Trelock Relon"]

Jae looked behind before she turned back to face the front, her eyes went wide when she noticed a bunch of guys on their own swoop pulling up close on Andorreth's side of the vehicle. "Look out!" She warned before she aimed up the rifle and took aim, she fired as the shot flew straight past Andorreth and out the window, hitting the opposing vehicle. She let out a breath she didn't even realise she was holding in.

Once they started to approach and enter the hangar, Jae rapidly jumped out of the swoop, she nodded her head and ran after Andorreth, following him in through the ship as he lead her to the cockpit. She knew Crosswire would get to manning the turrets and other weaponry on the ship, all she had to do was get them out of here! That was all she had to worry about for the time being. Once the duo reached the cockpit she ran past him and jumped into the pilots seat, looking over the controls with a glimmer in her eyes, like a child's. "Focus Jae..." She muttered to herself, forcing herself out of her moment and back into reality, where they were about to be shot down if she didn't get them out of here in time.

She pushed the throttle in quickly before looking at the tachometer to keep track of how much power she was applying to the engines, being a new ship she wanted to quickly get a feel of how quickly it'd warm up and more importantly, how fast it'd go. The dial on the tachometer went from 1000Rpm to 1500Rpm quite quickly. She kept it going onto 2000Rpm, 2500Rpm would be about full power, give or take, though she was wary about the space she was in.

Once the ship left the ground, quite quickly she had to admit, she flicked a switch and retracted the landing gear, as a way to make sure they didn't get damaged and also to reduce drag whilst they flew. She turned the ship around heading towards the exit and about to blow this joint. She saw the men had caught up and were in the hangar. She pressed a button along the control panel to use the ships comm. "Crosswire, I need you to take out those guys. They'll hit us from beneath and possibly damage one of the engines if I fly over them." She said, accounting for all possible outcomes. She knew those men had to firepower to damage the ship, they didn't even need to have good aim to do that.

She waited for a clear opening where she'd make a break out of the hangar and away from Nar Shadaa.

[member="Andorreth Vikar"] | [member="Trelock Relon"]

Once inside the ship I quickly bolt for the undersides turret, following Jae's orders, giving the men below hell, them both hitting the ground to avoid the fire. Thinking of what Andorreth told me I plug myself into the control panel, checking both turrets. Wait. How'd he pick up on that was my profession? Did he see me working on the credits he gave me? Hmn.. I'll put that away in my mental file box for now.

I fit on the headset in the turret station "That should take care of the two of them long enough." Swiveling around I survey our surroundings. Nothing else. "Looks like we're in the clear guys. I don't see any other drop ships or bikes." It seems strange teaming up with people. I've a deep seeded distrust for people. Too many people who stabbed me in the back. Though it's too late to back out now. I've just gotta be careful and watch for any red flags. For all I know they could be hunting bounties. After all that's what a lot of people come to Nar Shadaa for. I've gotta be careful about how much I let them know.

Once I'm certain we're in the clear I disconnect from the panel, leaving everything as it were. Good-bye city of slums and sin.

Her eyes flicked between the windscreen and back down to the data screens that showed the surroundings of the ship, the environment around it. She noticed Crosswire had taken out all of the men, whether they were alive or simply injured was not on her mind at the moment. She focused on getting the ship out of the hnagar and off of Nar Shadaa in one piece. She manevoured the flight controls and the ship moved forward, a little slowly at first though picking up speed quickly.

The vessel moved out of the hangar Jae relaxed as she assumed they were out of trouble now that they were out in the skies. Her head snapped to the blinking red light to the left of the control panel. One of the sensors was going off, without hesitation she scanned the data screen and noticed one of the men had managed to take a shot at the ship, the blaster bolt coming closer and closer. She flicked a couple switches to slow down the thrusters and gently though quickly turning the controls, causing the ship to tilt to the left, the blast bolt flying past and ahead as it slowly dispersed.

Jae let out a cheer of achievement and relaxed once again in the pilots seat. It'd been a while since she'd flown a ship like this and she had to admit she hadn't lost her touch. She continued to gently guide the ship out of Nar Shadaas atmosphere. Guess the crew would soon find out what adventures lay behind Nar Shadaa.
