Produced as Marcella Fiora 's business venture, the Scuro Malbec line is produced by Fiora Vintners Inc, a small alcohol production and distribution company that operates out of Coruscant. On-sale in shops and establishments, they are sold as high-end items which produce a healthy profit margin that provides ample financial support for Marcella and allows her to pay her staff fairly.

Compared to the Standard, Premium and Champagne ranges, the price of the Malbec is considerably expensive due to the exclusivity of the grape used, the ageing process and increasing production costs involved in quality control. Around 741 bottles are produced every galactic standard year due to the stringent production requirements.
