To focus on the projects of the clone legions, the Olympian Armorsmiths cannot devote too much time on an elaborate and extravagant armor for the remnants of stormtroopers and ultranauts who are joining arms with the Hegemony. The Ferrum-type is a simple but effective solution to it, offering protection against common weapon types and a limited resistance to airborne influences. It is based on an older imperial design, refurbished and improved to suit the new rank & file stormtroopers of the Hegemony.
