Quality of Life Features
- Identification System (Bio-Lock): Built into the grip is a bio-lock, meaning that only Ivory Stroud (The Donna) and any designated individuals may access and use the weapon.
- Textured Grip: The grip is textured to improve handling, a necessity to help balance out the weapon.
- Hair Trigger: The weapon is equipped with a hair trigger, for better control.
- Lightweight Material: Constructed out of Duravlex, Agrinium and Plasteel, the weapon is as lightweight as possible, considering the size.
- Advanced Magnetic Projection System: Following the design layout of a Verpine Shatter Gun, the sidearm utilises an Advanced Magnetic Projection System which allows the projectile to reach extraordinary speeds, causing severe kinetic damage.
- ElectroMag Defense Unit: The weapon is installed with a MIL-GRADE ElectroMag Defense Unit, provided by Nakaioma. This device protects the weapons from electromagnetic pulse attacks.
- Cautionary Pulser: The weapon is equipped with a cautionary pulser which vibrates once the weapon is low on ammunition.
- Security Electronic Shock System: Should an unidentified individual attempt to use the weapon, the power-pack will dump its electricity into the handle, producing a nasty shock for the unwanted user.
- FDS MagRound Compatible: The weapon is compatible with FDS MagRounds.
- Semi-Auto Only: The weapon can only fire semi-automatically.
- DEADLY: As a result of the advanced magnetic projection system within the weapon, it is capable of causing an extraordinary amount of kinetic damage to an individual, firing a projectile at extremely high speeds.

- EMP PROTECTION: The sidearm is installed with a MIL-GRADE ElectroMag Defense Unit, which is designed to protect the weapon against EMP attacks.

Designed & produced as a gift for Marcella's boss, Ivory Stroud (The Donna), the FDS-IS is an incredibly powerful shatter gun, utilizing advanced magnetic projection systems to launch projectiles at immense speed silently. Understanding that The Donna would rarely need to utilize such a weapon, it was produced as a symbolic gesture of trust and respect, an expensive symbolic gesture.
As the weapon is an exclusive, high-end system, it contains a Nakaioma ElectroMag Defence Unit which is installed within the weapon and protects it from electromagnetic pulse attacks, a necessity for a weapon that requires both a power-pack and electronic systems to operate. Upon firing, weapon does not emit any sound apart from the extremely quiet whirr of the railgun system and the projectile is extremely hard to track.
