The Fang-type Starfighter is the Mandalorian Empire's modernized successor to the legendary Fang-class Protectorate Fighter — a vessel that once earned its fearsome reputation through speed, precision, and relentless pursuit. Designed in partnership with MandalMotors and built for the reformed needs of a modern Mandalorian war machine, the Fang-type embodies the Empire’s warrior creed: agility over brute force, skill over saturation, and victory through superiority.

Retaining the iconic cranked-delta silhouette and swiveling S-foil wings of its predecessor, the Fang-type enhances its lineage with reinforced beskar hull plating, upgraded flight controls, and a cutting-edge vectored thrust system. The ship’s three ion engines — one main thruster and two mounted on the articulated wings — allow for unmatched maneuverability in atmospheric and zero-gravity conditions alike. Its Sublight Acceleration Motor (SLAM) grants the pilot bursts of extreme speed, ideal for quick repositioning, head-on kill runs, or evasive maneuvers.

Weapons are mounted with deadly efficiency: twin deck cannons fixed to each wing, a pair of nose-mounted solar ionization cannons, and a ventral-recessed Flex Tube launcher capable of delivering specialized munitions such as Discord Missiles and Brilliant Cluster payloads.
