En route to Aeten II
Filth, a great filth that cowered to the corners of this galaxy like rodents trying to escape from fire. The Mandolorians called themselves warriors, expanded out from their home world like a vile disease that must be dealt with. During the first war, Vulcanus faced off against their former Mandolore in combat but during the fall of the Empire he had no real contact with them. That was about to change, he was going to truly test the might of the mandolorians and then...he was going to shake the galaxy to its core.

It had become no secret that the Fel had been allies with the Republic. It was also no secret that the dominion of Bastion had become a fatal incident that forever destroyed what relationships the mandolorains had with the false empire. Vulcanus would use all of this to his advantage in the coming battle, unfolding a plan that would see the stars forever changed in his favor.

Entering the system on his Tulak-Horde flagship, with Republic markings and an IFF to match (cutesy of the Fel archives retrieved from Kaine), the Sith Emperor was followed in by 2 Fel Elliah-Class Heavy cruisers and 10 Ravelin-Class Heavy Corvettes, Vulcanus stared down at the planet below while decked from head to toe in his Sith Armor. Thanks to the work of Darth Vornskr, the Sith had reproduced exact copies of the Fel ships and implanted some Fel IFFs into Imperial ships to match. Some Republic IFFs had been procured through channels as well, including some stolen from Bastion archives that were given to the Fel so that they could identify the Republic ships during the war.

"Be sure that all my stromtroopers are wearing the Fel uniforms we produced and then begin launching the invasion." Vulcanus said, turning to the nearby captain, "Notify my Graug hordes as well and be sure that our...package is ready for our Mando enemies."

Stationed on Ara'novor Station 2251
Aeten II. It was a world that had been ravaged over the centuries, destroyed and rebuilt by a large Republic effort to terraform Vong shaped and ravaged worlds long before he was a twinkle in his father's eye. The remains of the original planet still remained however...And these remains were laden with precious stygium crystals. Rare, even in these sometimes continent sized chunks of planetoid, the planet had been the battle ground between the Sith and the Mandalorians once before, resulting in over the top protection of what was considered the Madnalorian's second treasure, the first being beskar, the lightsaber resistant metal found only on Mand'ayaim and its moon, Concordia. He was here, stationed on this fort-style battle station to make sure that both MandalMotors and Mandal Hypernautics' mining operations went smoothly and without a hitch.

<Sir.> One of the Dem'adas boys. They were a majority in this sector of Mandalorian space. The large and imposing Fett clan turned in his gold color armor. <What is it?>
<Ja'hailir station 6659 just picked up fleet movements coming from the north...Look to be...Republic ships sir.> The north? Were had they moved all the way around to try and take them by surprise? Maybe this was a distraction...<Contact @Captain Larraq and the Mand'alor...Things might be getting complicated soon...> For now what could he do? He was surprised that the Republic would so boldly attack them...Or could he be surprised after their resilience and unwillingness to give back land rightfully theirs. Either way...<Contact your fleet commander and prep the starfighters for battle. Start powering up shields and weapons. When those Republic shabuir get here...We'll be ready.>

An Alyndis-Class, the Revenant Chaos, had been passing through the system on a regular trip through Mandalorian space. The military hyperlane from the outer core through Esfandia had been a common frequent of Ashelotte's even after the Dominion days, courtesy of the Monarchy, and the rim of Mandalorian territories made ample way for travel. All Ruferalahuin had a certain... distaste for space voyage, and deep down Ashe was little different. Hyperspace felt so unnatural to her, she preferred long interval breaks between. As fortune would have it, Aeten II was an interesting planet to her for a long time standing. It had something she could make use of, something she preferred; Stygium. It was a lot like Pontite in many ways, but some argued stronger, certainly more commonly known for its property. As the Revenant Chaos passed through the orbital band, Ashe held her hand to the window beside her, the planet's beautiful radiance being inspected and absorbed in her melancholic gaze. There was a peace then that no mortal could describe. Alas, the Reaper was no such being.
"Mistress, several readings on sensors.... Identifying as Fel Imperium and one Republic. Scanning again, there must be something wrong with the system." a hollow voice addressed.
The young foxtress' head simply cocked aside casually, expressions of stunted concentration aloft.
"Forget about it.... It's probably nothing, just some junk civilian merchant ships or something. They love to salvage heaps of useless trash that nobody else wants."
On her electrum-plated HoloPad, the girl double-checked the system diagnostics on her Eightgun, neatly parked aside the twenty three other intercept fighters somewhere in the small hangar bay below. She sighed quietly, silently hoping that the Stargoddess Project would complete itself soon enough so that she could try out the latest-generation fighter that took so much third-party contracting to complete and keep classified.

Vulcanus watched as the Mandolorain fleets began to power up their shields and interceptors began to fill the empty voids of space, but no shots were being fired yet. So, the ruse was working just as he hoped it had. The Mandolorians didn't know what to do, they were probably cowering for their superiors as Vulcanus watched. With a cynical grin, the Dark Lord simply stood in the silence of the ship and prepared his mind for war.

"Sir, all audio packages are prepared and the photographic package has been uploaded to the Ship's computers." Vulcanus nodded, then the stage was set and the players at the edge of a long cliff. It was now time for the Sith to begin the push that would send them over that edge.

"Excellent commander, begin locking all weapons onto the nearest Mandolorian space station and transmit the audio package to all frequencies." Vulcanus purred. He would wait to review the visual package until later, after all it was the last piece to the puzzle.

"Aye, aye sir" the captain said with the New Order salute before scurrying over to the nearest station. Vulcanus continued to monitor the actions of the Mandolorian fleet as the false flag ships edged closer to Aeten II, then the captain called back to him, "Mi'lord, there seems to be an non-mandolorian vessel seems to be near the planet. What are your orders regarding it?"

"Ignore it, as the weak Jedi would." Vulcanus barked back, not taking his eyes off of the scene before him. The captain regarded him with a nod and then ordered the crewmen at the station to begin transmitting the following audio package to the mandolorians.

"Now hear this, now hear this." A calm human voice proclaimed over all non-encrypted frequencies. It was a simple recording done by the New Order prior to this attack, but it was convincing to the letter, "by order of the Galactic Senate you are ordered to relinquish your weapons and surrender. If you do not comply, we are authorized to use lethal force to bring you to justice. I repeat surrender now, this is your only warning." the audio the cut dead just as the canons of the Tulak-horde finished locking onto station 6659.

"Destroy that station." Vulcanus ordered calmly and without a hint of mercy. The carrying out of the orders was just as cold and there was no delay. The cannons lit up the void of space with red beams that zipped through the void and began to litter the defense station with enumerable firepower. The station stood no chance and the far superior firepower of the Tulak-horde ripped through the station's hull and ignited the inner workings in flames. Just for good measure, an assault concussion missile was fired into the station to obliterate it completely.

Plasmatic heat lit up the sensors and littered the hull of the flagship, painting the black canvas of space with a deep red. "Station destroyed sir."

"Perfect, captain...perfect"

As was always the case with unauthorized ships entering Mandalorian space, the Shokita stations had detected the border violation long before the intruders reached Aeten II and returned to realspace. Navies throughout the northern sections of the Mandalorian Territories had gone to yellow alert and civilian vessels were advised to seek shelter retreat to designated defensive zones.

For the massive Concordance-class Mining Barge with a Hyperion Mining logo on the side, taking shelter was not an option. For two months now, she had been in the system operating as a mobile base as she and her launch craft scoured the asteroid field for hints of possible Stygium deposits. Three weeks ago she had settled above a massive chunk of rock and metal that dwarfed her own considerable size and anchored herself to what could almost be called a planetoid. When the yellow alert had gone out, six smaller mining freighters were laser-drilling into the planetoid as numerous tractor beams hauled the released ore into the massive ship's storage and processing bays. On the surface of the asteroid, a hundred and forty specialized mining walkers and over two thousand specialized mining droids used drills and other tools to bore holes through the planetoid in a constant search for the Stygium deposit their sensors were telling them existed. Hundreds of labor droids loaded dozens of cargo shuttles with the rock and raw ore to be shipped back to the Mining Barge for storage and processing. Every rock and metal had a value to the right buyer. During the search for Stygium, Hyperion Mining would make as many credits as it could from the common materials being gained in the skies above Aeten II.

When Shokita stations detected hyperspace signals in Aeten II and brought the system from yellow alert to red alert, a bead of sweat fell down the back of the Captain of the Concordance. Deep in the asteroid field and unable to flee, he and his ships were sitting ducks. He immediately sent a short, automated distress signal to headquarters before powering down the Concordance and suspending all mining operations. Ships in space immediately docked with the parent vessel and those still loading ore from the planet powered down and grounded themselves. The droids were ordered to shut down via remote signal, and thousands of Mando'ade offered a silent prayer that their ship be overlooked and the Mandalorian Navy be quick to route the intruders from their space.

Above Aeten II, two small and identical battelgroups readied themselves for combat. One was here to protect the planet and her people, the other to protect the investments of Mandal Hypernautics. As soon as the system had gone to Red Alert, the private security fleet had immediately become the property of Clan Dem'adas and became subject to their orders. Neither fleet had any idea what had entered the system they were charged with protecting. While the piracy and smuggling ships did occasionally set off the alarms and put a system on alert, Red Alert status was reserved solely for situations where nothing other than military vessels could have produced the size and type of signature detected by the Shokita stations.

The two battlegroups split into five formations and spread out in a search pattern, fighters and interceptors prepared to range ahead. The battlegroups were to enter the asteroid field and begin searching for hostile ships using conventional active scanning techniques. Their operation was interrupted, however, when a transmission burst reached their ears. Republic ships had invaded the system. Officers on the bridge of each ship exchanged looks of concern before returning to their duties. Seconds later, the unmistakable signature of weapons fire and the destruction of a station reached the small fleet.

Battlecomputers ran calculation after calculation as they compared the sensor readings against known ships encountered by the Mandalorians throughout the years of conflict they have endured. Tulak-Horde Command Ship.

"Sheb." Uttered the commander of the battlegroup. "Notify command. We can't stand up to that kind of firepower on our own." The commander ordered. "Move us into the asteroid field and prepare to begin hit-and-run operations against that ship."

Elsewhere in the Mandalorian Territories, nearby systems remained on yellow alert and a Patrol Fleet at Ord Canfre was ordered to stand by and prepare to reinforce Aeten II should the additional forces be needed. On Nirauan, Mandal Hypernautics CEO Rygel Larraq was visiting the headquarters of Hyperion Security and touring the training facility that was being set up on the planet. When the distress signal of the recently christened Concordance was brought to his attention, his hands clenched as a he remembered the considerable pricetag that had gone into the production and acquisition of the vessel and her support craft.

Determined to personally guarantee the safety and security of the Mandal Hypernautics assets over Aeten II, Rygel Larraq commandeered one of the Skira-class Battleship in orbit over Nirauan and ordered her and the escorts of her Command Wing to immediately plot a hyperspace course for Aeten II.

Yellow alert quickly shifted to Red as the listening station that had originally pinged the Republic fleet was destroyed. Red quickly switched to black. Things were not looking good. It seemed they were under attack. With black Ori'ramikade were comed, all Field Marshals in Mandalorian space as well as the Mand'alor himself were immediately made aware of the situation. With Aeten II being the projected target, they had technically been on red alert despite the tag having been yellow and so all hands were already at their stations, fighters were prepped and all that was needed was the word to launch and all ships would engage the coming enemy. As soon as they dropped into range they would rain down fire on the Republic.

"Now hear this, now hear this. by order of the Galactic Senate you are ordered to relinquish your weapons and surrender. If you do not comply, we are authorized to use lethal force to bring you to justice. I repeat surrender now, this is your only warning."
"Mistress, do you copy? They claim to be for the Galactic Senate and are hailing local Mandalorian forces. Secondary scans show that there is no mistake; these are valid Fel Imperium IFFs. What is your command, your grace?"
Ashe quickly stepped forward into the helm and placed her arms on the flight board, leaning over into the displays.
"No... this can't be right. The Imperium has been gone for months now. And-" The unaging girl was cut off by alerts to ordinance fire in the local planetary area picked up by weapon sensors.
"Mistress, sensors are picking up ionic fire trails and ordinance readings. The rogue vessels have opened fire, the target is currently unconfirmed."
"Feth! Imperium my ass. There's no way those can be Fel vessels. Hail the local command branch. Tell them Rally Master Lady Saybin-Malfrost believes with utmost confidence that these ships were stolen. It could be pirates, or separatists, it's too clouded to be certain. Either way, they need to be taken out!"
After that major land battle campaign, a little self-recognition never hurt... did it?
"Yes, your grace."
The Sentinel did just that; patch a line through to [member="Captain Larraq"], [member="Sherruk Vhett"] and whoever else was in the area in Mandalorian channel.
Ashe quickly left the bridge and galloped off towards the hangars where the Eightgun she "procured" from Circe's corporate shipyards through slicing had been held. It wasn't the prettiest thing in the world, but it packed quite a punch for its size - even if it wasn't a Solace or an Ariamis. Those were being held in her personal carrier-corvette some ways behind her faster corvette of current, and was loaded with many tons of other goods she owned, freighted to and from one of her several homesteads throughout the galaxy. The girl had made enemies, this was without question, but had a knack for making allies even more out of others.

Darth Ayra had been sat in the cockpit of an unmarked Imperial shuttle when [member="Darth Vulcanus"]'s flagship had dropped out of hyperspace. An age old smuggler technique to bypass enemy blockades during the days of the Old Republic, a shuttle such as hers could be attached to the bottom of a ship during hyperspace travel; and when it dropped out, simply fly off. Of course, in the modern age, large ships such as Vulcanus's had scanners that would pick up any attempts for a ship such as Ayra's to do this; and in normal circumstances, shoot them off. But in this case, Ayra had the blessing of Vulcanus to do this. As he engaged the Mandalorians, she moved off and proceed with the objectives of the League of Red.

Retracting the landing clamps of her ship, Ayra piloted the shuttle down towards the planet surface. Misdirection was a tool of the Sith and in this case, the Sith Marauder had played it well.

Rygel Larraq sat aboard the bridge of the Skira-class Battleship 'Just Cause' and prepared the trio of ships to enter hyperspace. As he prepared to issue the final order to make way to Aeten II, a transmission was routed to him from the base on Nirauan.

"And you're absolutely sure these are stolen vessels?" He asked [member="Ashe the Reaper"] as his his fingers rubbed against his chin. He knew that war with the Republic was imminent. Half the galaxy knew it. The Jedi were quickly becoming the imperial dictators they accused the Sith of being and their constant and unrelenting expansion had leaders throughout the galaxy concerned about the intentions of the Republic. What the Mandalorians needed most, was for the Republic to make the mistake of firing the first shot and giving the Mandalorians the excuse they needed to put the two-faced, political activists in their place. From where Rygel Larraq was standing, this border intrusion, no matter who commanded the actual vessels, was exactly what the Mando'ade needed.

"Rally Master Malfrost..." Larraq transmitted to [member="Ashe the Reaper"] on an encrypted frequency. "I want you to keep those opinions to yourself. Until proof can be pulled from the wreckage or survivors of that ship, you are to consider them Republic and Hostile. Am I understood Ms. Malfrost?"

When his conversation with the woman was over, Rygel Larraq signaled the commander of the vessel to activate the hyperdrive and get him to Aeten II as quickly as possible.

Aedan Miles strode along a corridor making his rounds of the Concordance this duty rooster was dull but it was the Red Legion's turn to take it and he had brought about half of the Legion with him as security detail as well as a transport to act as their personal armory. The rest of the legion remained at the base they had doing training missions or so Aedan hoped they were. Aedan returned to the barracks on the massive mining vessel and had just started to pull his armor off to get a break from it when the ship suddenly went dark. Biting back a curse as he heard a single statement being issued the young general looked around gesturing forward 8 runners from the Legion muttering to them quietly. "All right boys silent here go and tell the squads out wandering to report here for assignment once we figure out what is going on no coms what so ever." The men and women he had gestured over nodded and then took off at a silent jog in different directions.

Shortly after they took off the men started to trickle pulling off their helmets once they were in the barracks their eyes hard. They all were ready for anything but like Aedan they hated to be caught unawares. Aedan thought about the commander he had brought with him as he kept his eyes open for [member="Chupa La'Roi"] to show up hopefully if they needed to split their numbers he could assign Chupa some men to take and secure a hold point elsewhere. For now he waited once they found out what was going on the armory ship would be their first stop empty it of their weapons and split the heavier weapons up so each group had some. Mostly it contained rifles, energy packs, and blasters but Aedan had also brought along a couple E-web blasters. Sure they were old but they got the job done especially after he had gotten them looked at.

For now the Legion sat in the barracks drinking water and eating some food silently if this turned into a siege they would need their energy each one knew that today may be their day to die but they were ready to face anything that was thrown at them. Aedan had passed on the food and instead sat meditating and diminishing his force presence in an attempt to help hide the fact the ship was here.

"And you're absolutely sure these are stolen vessels?"
Ashe uplinked her MMSHMD-Sierra Flight Helmet and initiated its encrypted comm link.
"[member="Captain Larraq"]: I'm willing to bargain my life on it.... When's the last time you saw or heard anything from an Imperium ship, Vod? And I know the entire Imperial lineup by heart - I stole the damned things once - and there's no way these can be legitimate. I've never seen it before, and their IFF registers aren't the same ones used on Republic-Imperial or requisitioned ships. We're on the verge of open war with the Republic, don't you think it's a little ironic that a fleet with non-matching Republic and Fel IFFs should show up on the front door of one of our most important mining worlds in such times as these?"
Ashe had learned a lot in her time toying between the Republic and the Dominion, taking what she could from both sides and then leaving them to dry. IBIS no doubt still held the genuine article of all of the aforementioned original IFFs and the specific models that used them.
"I want you to keep those opinions to yourself. Until proof can be pulled from the wreckage or survivors of that ship, you are to consider them Republic and Hostile. Am I understood Ms. Malfrost?"
"The chaos is he talking about?" she asked aloud, not in comm, wondering what else the damned Malfrost Sentinel had transmitted that she didn't actually order through. Shaking her head, she dismissed it and began loading up into her cockpit.
HANGAR BAY DOORS, OPENING.
Small alarms and spinning yellow lights lit up the hangar deck as the shields lifted and doors opened to give way for the MARPATed Eightgun.
"Lady Ashelotte Malfrost to Revenant Chaos, fighter deploying. There's no point in staying here, out in the open.... Stay stationed in the stratosphere and await further orders. Until then, stay passive and weapons cold unless fired upon. I don't want any kark-ups."

Sabrina was on [member="Aedan Miles"] ship, she new they did not trust her still, but none the legion recognized her from time she spent with them. [member="Ordo"] had given her leave to see some of the mandalorian figure heads, to see if she could be of use to them. She also wanted to visit the mine, she been in before to see what happened to storm troopers thta got left behind.

marcusfenix1_zpsc5f19b8b.gif

Ordo sat on the ground as the bright reflection of ships danced in the distance. The great ships nothing but sparkling stars in the expanse over head. His grey green eyes scanned the movements as he sat waiting for the inevitable.

"Get the troops ready the seal the mine. I want charges every ten meters." He said before pushing his big frame to his feet, "and get me my boom stick(link in sig)."

Ordo bent down and grabbed a hand full of soil and rubbed it between his hands then smelled the metallic soil before brushing it from his gauntlets. Two troopers carried his huge weapon to him and with the aid of the force he easily picked it up and walked to the mine. If the republic or whoever it was wanted stygium or surrender they were going to have to pay for it in bodies.

Lady Hel watched from the view port as the station was struck at, her eyes running over the scene and smiling all the while. The only part of her face visible in that moment was that of her mouth, helmet obscuring her face and hair black to keep her disguise assured. She did smile though as the sounds of battle already sounded in her ears, a symphony that was greater than any conductor could design. When she turned she would look at the shuttle that had been waiting for her and walked slowly over to it, the soldier stationed their moving for her as she entered and waved the man to hurry on.

She took the controls in the co-pilot chair, securing the oxygen mask over her shoulder in case a breach would force her to put it on quickly before she looked at the actual pilot and spoke. "Launch now, head in quick and fast and avoid heading in with the rest of the shuttles but not too far that the escort cant protect us, i don't want to get my head shot off the moment we land. Got it?" She didn't even watch for a response as her head turned forward and she waited for the descent to begin, a slow and agonizing wait for battle.

Rafeesh watched through a veiwport silently. He had no taste for wanton destruction, there must be a purpose. He knew this had a purpose; fear was probably it, but he was not sure. A station was a large object to destroy, but it was done and nothing was thought of it. He watched for a moment or two longer as the station sank slowly towards the planet below. "All things come to an end...Except hatred, anger, and power."
Thinking of the planet below reminded Rafeesh that he was supposed to be preparing for an escort to the planet below. Checking his lightsaber, he took quick measured steps to the nearest hangar. Seeing through the protective laser field many other ships, he smiled. This should be easy. He was no pilot and so lined up with the men moving towards a dropship, or at least it appeared to be a dropship. He no longer recognized many of the ships, they were all so different from what he had known.

(Hmm, I really gotta change the tags on these... Haven't used this character since leaving the Empire)

The former Sith Knight hadn't been in the galaxy's public eye for months now... He had silently escaped from a Republic prison after being captured by his own brother during The Battle Of Korriban, and things had gotten better for the young man since leaving his Sith roots behind. He had been in prison for quite some time, and the Sith had never come for him... Eventually, he had busted himself out, and that was where he knew.. This wasn't the life for him.

Since then, he had returned to Mandalore to happily make his living as a bartender. Those psychotic thoughts of chaos slowly vanished... All traces of desire for power, for destruction, for control... Faded.

He felt happy for once, being his own man.

But... Trouble always seemed to find him.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nicholas DragonsFlame, bartender from Mandalore was visiting a friend who worked in the mines on Aeten II. It had been a brisk day so far, and he'd enjoyed catching up with friends from his old life as a bounty hunter. The jack of all trades would be heading toward the spaceport when ships would pull in and begin shooting...

Taking cover from any fire that might hit ground, Nick could hear the words of others around him...

Republic ships and Fel ships were attacking Aeten II...

Wait, Republic and Fel ships?

That didn't seem right, he thought... When he thought about it though... Nothing did.

While he had hated the Republic during his time in prison, he had heard inklings of their conversations... Their views, their lifestyles... Randomly attacking a Mandalorian planet and starting a war for no reason?

As much as he hated them... It didn't sound like them. No....

And the Fel ships? While he was with the Sith Empire, he remembered that the Republic and Fel were merely attacking the same target... But allies, not likely. But to have them both attacking the Mandalorians at the same time... Especially with the Fel being gone for so long now... It stunk. Something wasn't right.

But the point was, right now the Republic was attacking Aeten II. With the ships there, he wouldn't be able to get his ship safely out. He drew his blaster now, holding his position... If they landed on the planet, he would be fighting his way out.

The shuttle broke out of the stratosphere of the planet. It's pilot, Darth Ayra, maneuvered the stick down towards the trees. She wasn't sure if the hostiles on the planet would detect her approach, but she guessed that the longer she was in the air, the more chance she had of being discovered. Choosing a secluded area in the woods of Aeten II, yet large enough for her to park her ship comfortably. Killing the engines, Ayra unbuckled herself from the pilots seat and headed straight to the back. Opening one of the containers there, she pulled out a camouflaged sheet. Carrying it to the door, she typed in a code and opened the back of her shuttle. Walking outside, the Sith Marauder then proceeded to cover her ship with the sheet, securing on all sides with several pegs hooked into the ground. From her perspective, it was obvious that a ship was here. But from the skies, from a distance, it wouldn't look out of place, blending into the surroundings.

Satisfied with her work, Ayra proceeded back into her shuttle. She took off her Sith robe and folded it neatly onto the co pilots seat. Changing into her camouflage gear, Ayra spent several minutes covering her face, neck and hands with camouflage paint. When it was dry, a pair of gloves, that were the same colour as the camouflage she wore, were placed over her hands. Tying her pale, blonde hair into a ponytail, she then placed a camouflaged hat over it. She surveyed herself in the mirror and was satisfied with how she looked. Picking up a rucksack, which was again in camouflage and carried her equipment. Finally, selecting her WESTAR M5 rifle, Ayra headed out to the back of the shuttle and exited.

[member="Darth Ayra"], ([member="Hunter Yagami"] this thread is set before we surrender, I would suggest being in the same ship as Ayra to get on-planet)

Meanwhile Ayra infiltrated Aeten II via Vulcanus's ship, Voracitos was already watching... always watching.

As he had done ever since his death, Voracitos had been studying as much as he could on every faction, and every person he deemed important enough to be spied on. Countless worlds had untraceable probes lurking through their skies, observing them, watching them grow. Each probe was a relic from a time long passed, and even then, the Imperial Probe droid... wasn't even technically Imperial from its conception. No, these droids were solely his, and they came lurching from the bosom of his floating foundry, the Girth of Gluttony.

His Eyes of Envy were everywhere, retrieving and sending back uniquely encrypted information to their Daddy for him to analyze using the instantaneous intellect of a computer in the form of his holocron... which was close enough, considering the circumstances. It had been, after all, designed to control the massive ship as a Droid Brain. He received data at a near constant rate from differing parts of the galaxy. When something interesting popped up, a lot of the times so too did Voracitos.

This though, was not a such a day. Today was about infiltration, stealth, deception. Today there would be a number of probes in the Aeten system, that were prepared to be an advanced warning system and guide, as well as distractions if need be.

Before she got too deeply into enemy territory where such occurrences would not be capable of happening, the probe had watched her descent, and the Girth of Gluttony calculated an estimated landing path. With a fair amount of accuracy, the probe watching her descent was able to meet her at her landing sight in due time, especially since she was covering it with a tarp of some kind. Coming out of the forest, the stealthy probe procured a voice.

"Soldier, this attack is quite a surprise, is it not?" He questioned softly. It was pretty much code for "is all going well with the plan", but least there be a counter probe where their plans are discovered. So far, Voracitos was unsure if barging rudely into her mind would disrupt her much needed concentration for this operation, thus he opted for the Probes own mechanisms.

The Mandolorians had begun to mobilize, but their firepower was nothing compared to what the New Order had brought with them. The ships, which were very much of Fel design and line-up (spare the Tulak-Horde), would raze the space around the planet and leave nothing behind. The Dark Lord, Vulcanus, studied the ships as they coward behind asteroids to avoid the wraith of the coming invasion force.

"Mi'lord, the unidentified ship has launched fighters that are currently on attack trajectory for our fleet." the captain of the ship announced, to which Vulcanus nodded. The Tulak Horde was accompanied by a fleet of ships that were all made to combat fighters, the fighters would be easy pickings for the vessels before they even got a chance to attack the Tulak-Horde.

"Ignore it and alert the fleets of the incoming fighters, I do not want a single fighter getting within range of my shields." the beast commanded. At the current moment the fleet of Vulcanus was in a standard arrow head shaped formation, each ship sitting dozens of kilometers away from the rest to give them a massive covering area and to avoid accidental collisions. At the head of this driving arrow was the Tulak-Horde with the two Elliah-Class cruisers on either side. The ten Ravelins were then split in half and placed on either flank of the Tulak-Horde to make the ground total of ships on either side to be 6.

"Aye, aye" The captain replied with a salute before turning back to the screen before him and sending through the orders. In response, the six ships on the Tulak-Horde's left flank began to shift into attack position which resembled a staircase so each ship could fire over the others. The same was done on the right flank and each ship readied its weapon systems to meet the threat of the incoming fighters and bombers.

For a split moment, all of space seemed to stare in awe and suspense. Even the planet seemed to stop dead in its rotation just to watch the few second span between Krag's orders and the hell fire that followed. A light show of reds and blues lit up the dark void as the fleet opened fire on the incoming sheets of fighters and bomber, igniting them into balls of plasma upon impact. "Lord Vulcanus, we have picked up a mining vessel of the Concordance class in the vicinity. What are your orders?"

"Begin an operation to take the facility immediately. Send a detachment of Stormtroopers and blackbaldes to the station, retrieve any useful material and then destroy it." Vulcanus ordered

"And what of the enemy ships behind the asteroids?" the captain questioned

"aim all of the ship's weapons for the belt they took cover behind and open fire. As soon as you have a clear line of fire, use our assault concussion missiles."
