I know I'm a bit late to the party, but if you're not dead set on the Black Ties, then the Zenithian Imperium would love to have you. We're a growing empire in the southern systems, who believe that force users are the cause of all the war and problems in the galaxy (because let's face it, it's almost entirely true). We've got a military RP group going. You're welcome to come join us if you like.
