Gutter Goddess
As many of you are aware, an announcement went up this morning in the TSC and TSO Discords. The Sith Order will be merging into the Sith Covenant, and together we will be moving forward as one faction: The Sith. Which means we will be changing the name of our faction as it appears in the faction list, and on the Map.
Of course, per site rules, Major Factions must vote on any name changes.
Voting is open for 24 HOURS to active writers of the Sith Covenant. If you're in favor of the name change, simply say Yes. If you're against, simply say No.
Hi y'all,
It's been a busy couple of months, things keep coming up, some of it positive, some of it less so as we know. Today we come with some really exciting great news however.
After some deliberation between our two faction staff teams, the Sith Order and the Sith Covenant have decided to band together and merge into a single major faction!
The Sith Order will officially join the Sith Covenant community and together we will continue under a new name.
The Sith.
No longer separate, no longer apart. One nation of Sith unified in their desire to bring the Dark Side to untold heights in the Galaxy.
There are still details to iron out, but we wanted to give a sneak peek of what is coming in the next weeks as we get this show on the road.
The Sith Order will merge into the Sith Covenant and the new faction will retain the Sith Covenant territory, but before the merge happens, we will do a series of diplomatic threads to integrate some of the Sith Order territory.
While we will lose some territory as a result, we will gain a unified writing base that can all look into the same direction. And considering how fast we post separately, we have no doubt we can eventually reclaim lost ancestral holdings if the story takes us there.
The vision we have is as followed:
Srina Talon remains the Empress.
Mercy assumes the mantle of Sith'ari.
Together they will rule over church and state.
The Core Worlds Super-Hex will become known as the Imperial Core. Where law and tyranny is forcibly instilled into the territories. This Imperial demesne will be the seat of the Sith, where a semblance of order is expected.
The worlds outside of the Super-Hex (and some of the other adjacent hexes we will designate) will be considered the Free Territories. Where no law exists beyond the strength you can enforce yourself. Where the Sith can vie against one another for supremacy and power.
As long as the tribute flows up to the Throne, neither the Empress nor the Sith'ari care what atrocities you commit or what ambitions you foster outside the Imperial Heartland.
There will be a lot more information coming out as we keep talking but we wanted to share this news with you to get you just as excited as we are.
If you have any questions, please reach out and let us know. We will do our best to answer any concerns and if you have any ideas, we welcome input as well.
Stay tuned for now!
