Exploring A Smuggler's Paradise

Yuroic decided it was time that he arranged a little expedition trip for the Silver Jedi, he wanted to go out and see more of the Galaxy and he knew that there were others that were eager to join him. First was planning where to go on their first exploration trip, he wanted to stay close to Silver Jedi territory but not inside it and he wanted to go somewhere he knew well. When he was looking at a galaxy map, there was one obvious choice that sprung in his mind, Nar Shaddaa. He had grown up on Nar Shaddaa, lived out his childhood on the moon. While it was not a pleasant childhood, his journey meant Yuroic had finally sorted the demons he faced he had in relationship to the moon. This trip was going to be fun and it meant that Yuroic could speak some of the common languages outside Galactic Basic, it had been awhile since he spoken to Twi'Leks, Hutts, Mandalorians and others that were commonly found on Nar Shaddaa, a hub world for variety of cultures.

For this trip, Yuroic decided to not wear his usual Jedi robes, knowing that the trip was to explore and see the worlds outside of being a Jedi. At least it was for him, he wanted to blend in for now and see how the Galaxy worked. This was a chance to learn how he could help make lives better without people assuming something from him. Yuroic was wearing standard dark trousers with a grey hoodie and leather jacket over the hoodie. It was bland enough to not cause people to notice him. Nar Shaddaa was a world where being noticed could be dangerous, at least some of the areas he wanted to visit today were. He contacted the others who had shown interest in joining him on this trip and a general message for anyone who had missed his sign-up sheet.

Yuroic sat on a box in the hangar, his Lightsaber discreetly hidden underneath his jacket and a pistol in a holster on his belt. One could never be too protected when travelling through areas like the Refugee Sector and some of the gang territories. However, they were the areas that he wanted to explore, the casinos and higher society areas were not that interesting to him, but Yuroic understood that they would be for others. Part of this was so that others could explore things of interest to them as well, perhaps places they would not normally go under Silver Jedi business. If that was what they wanted. This was going to a trip for fun and leisure as well as learning.

That was the idea at least.

She was looking around, having arrived and wearing the skylar outfit the small jedi teenager moved quickly. Letting the howly's guide her around as she was going and had her saber concealed on her thigh in the cracken pack. She had the rest of her gear while looking around before checking her wrist holo to load up some of the music she had gotten from SOr-Jan. "So this is interesting." Sure why not, she was always curious and Nar Shadda always gave you a new smell just when you thought it had managed to reveal all of its secrets. "What marvelous new smells we might be able to discover or I don't think I have seen all the angles that rodian woman could get at in they alley."

The Primeval believed that the races of the universe were divided into castes.

The Hutts, along with the Mirialans and Twi'leks, occupied the most revered. The most sacred texts of their religion were authored in those languages, though with the Hutts as old a spacefaring people as they were, their language tended to dominate the religion today. The young Pantoran was both literate and fluent in Huttese, owing to the fact that most Primeval religious ceremonies adopted it as the language for the mass. Almost all Primeval prayer books were authored in it, such as the one that the blue-skinned youth carried.

His fluency, combined with his unassuming appearance, were the reason why the Host Lord of the Primeval had once entrusted a child with the task of serving as the Primeval ambassador to the Hutt Cartel. The boy had served in the palace of [member="Sempra the Hutt"], who court had once held influence over a swath of planets. Nar Shaddaa had been one of them.

The glorious jewel, Sempra had called it.

He had heard of it, but he'd never seen it until now.

"What marvelous new smells we might be able to discover."

The boy's predatory gaze slid over at the young woman. Typical teenager, at least from what he could tell. Wordlessly, the boy's amber eyes moved to take in the dark, dank metropolis.

It was, indeed, rank. Odors and darkness, swirling in a tepid soup of humidity. Decay was sweet upon the air, with a acrid taint that was revolting.

It very much reminded him of home. The Undercity of Coruscant. The similarities between them enough to cause the boy to relax. Nar Shaddaa might well have been a poor man's Coruscant. A smuggler's paradise, full of cut-throats, slavers, and pirates.

And slaves.

The purple haired youth was silent as he emerged where the other two were in the hangar bay. The boy wore the standard youngling tunic common to Silver Rest, save that his was white instead of brown or gray. Or green. The Corellian kids usually wore green.

The white seemed a stark contrast to the darkness that seemed to cover the boy like a funeral shroud. Likewise, he appeared to be unarmed. But nothing about this child was what appearances would indicate.
