OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: Mid-50s
  • Force Sensitivity: Non-Force User
  • Species: Human
  • Appearance: Standing at average height with a strong back despite one missing eye, Vestak is a man of professionalism and as such can always be seen with a stoic expression and disposition. He makes no effort to hide his age and wears his white hair proudly, a stark contrast to his blood red flight suit that he is almost always wearing.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Exercitator Vestak Narveth
  • Loyalties: Order of Wonosa, Darth Strosius
  • Wealth: While his pay as the head fighter pilot for the Order of Wonosa could afford him a rather comfortable living, Vestak prefers to keep his lifestyle stark and simple. As a result while he is paid very well, most of his personal wealth goes straight back into the cult.
  • Notable Possessions: Modified W-1 Flight Suit, Massassi Starfighter
  • Skills: Vestak is a very experienced and skilled pilot, having lived the vast majority of his life in a ship's cockpit. He is professionally trained as a fighter pilot and as a squad leader, making him adept at managing starfighter forces even in the midst of battle while he's in his own fighter.
  • Languages: Basic, Some knowledge of Ur-Kittat
  • Personality: Strict, professional, and intense are the three best words to describe Vestak Narveth. He is used to hierarchy and ranks after having spent much of his life in militaries, making him often cold and official in regards to how he interacts with others. However he does genuinely care for those under his command and for those that he fights for, being harsh on his subordinates specifically to ensure their own survival. He never hesitates to put himself into dangerous situations for others, maintaining a calm and controlled manner in almost ever circumstance even if death lingers right before his eyes.
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Weapon of Choice: Blaster Pistol for personal combat but typically only fights from the cockpit of his Massassi Starfighter
  • Combat Function: While he is somewhat decent at using blasters and has some basic close combat capabilities, his piloting skills are by far his best asset when it comes to combat. He favors aggressive maneuvers as a pilot, keeping his opponents on the back foot and ensuring that he has the momentum in combat. He is not without a strategic mind however and will often perform tactics such as ambushes or feigning retreats in order to lure and force his opponents into difficult positions that he can then exploit.
  • Force Abilities (Force Users Only): N/A
Strengths:
  • Life Spent in a Cockpit: Having been conscripted into being a starfighter pilot from an early age and maintaining that role throughout his life, Vestak is extremely experienced not only as a fighter pilot but as a squadron leader and commander. All things starfighter are his specialty and passion.
  • Devout Until Death: Vestak was raised in the Sith Empire and was inducted into the Order of Wonosa as a young man, making him completely devoted to the Sith as he viewed them as the architects and rulers of all that he had ever known. His purpose in life, in his eyes at least, is to guard and further the goals and existence of the Order of Wonosa and therefore the Sith themselves. He will strive for this purpose without hesitation or interruption until his final breath leaves him.
Weaknesses:
  • For the Greater Good: Vestak is a staunch believer in the Order of Wonosa and the Sith, having dedicated his entire life to them. Thus it is only natural that his goal is to ensure the continuation of the cult and the Sith regardless of the cost, whether it be sacrificing his own life for the cause or sending squadrons to the demise just to buy time for the cult's people and operations to continue on. He is not one to waste life of course, but the mission is always more important than anything else.
  • Tried and Tested Tactics are the Best Ones: Due to his training and time spent in the Sith-Imperial Starfighter Corps throughout the Third Imperial Civil War, his own tactics and techniques are heavily inspired and influenced by those of the Sith-Imperial Starfighter Corps of the past. His belief in their ways, despite their failings, means that he will try to apply their methods and strategies both for himself and for the starfighter corps that he commands even if they may be lacking.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Vestak Narveth, for all intents and purposes, was meant to be little more than just another pilot. Born to a family of common laborers on Dromund Kaas during the reign of the most recent iteration of the Sith Empire, he spent most of his youth doing odd jobs or being schooled as most other children on the ancient Sith world were. Once he was old enough however, being in his late teens at the time, he was conscripted and placed into the Sith-Imperial Starfighter Corps in order to aid in the growing Third Imperial Civil War. He would be trained and deployed to fronts against the New Imperial Order, the Galactic Alliance, and even later against rogue Sith elements.

Throughout his service though he would be given leave and on one of these leaves he would discover a meeting in one of the warehouses littering New Kaas City's outskirts. This turned out to be a meeting, a sermon specifically, of the Order of Wonosa which at the time was called the Dark Wonosa Cult. Vestak would soon become enraptured by the words of the then Acolyte Darth Strosius and his followers, beginning to spend almost all of his leaves with the cultists and earning his place as a member himself. Of course the Third Imperial Civil War would eventually result in the Sith Empire falling and the Wonosans to flee, with Vestak choosing to follow his faith and go along with the cult.

Vestak would prove himself as a valuable asset to the Order of Wonosa due to his training and experience, being the primary pilot for the cult in general and later the ace pilot for the handful of starfighters that would serve as the cult's little squadron. Years of service only increased his devotion to the cult and to Darth Strosius, his loyalty and skill in turn rewarded as the cult's military forces began to formalize more and more. Vestak was appointed as the leader and instructor for the starfighter forces within the Order of Wonosa, and then the Wonosan Starfighter Corps once their military organization was complete.
