Aika Kawakami
Can one find true light when shadowed in darkness?
Nothing is ever set in stone..
She snapped awake, sitting up in her bed as she panted heavily, twin beads of sweat trailing down both sides of her face. The night had been restless, and waking the way she did only seemed to confuse her. Sliding from the center to the edge of the bed, her feet swinging off to meet the floor as she sighed. The pounding of her head causing a deep groan as her hands reached up to rub at her temples. It was strange, the sensation she had. In a way, she felt confused, lost even. Many of her memories were fuzzy, the last complete clear thought she remembered being the encounter she'd had with one of her closest friends. While most would be alarmed at such things, Aika was well aware of why she'd felt the way she did.
Her eyes danced about the room, gaze falling upon her pants and small, sleeveless black top. It would take her but a few moments to slip into the pants and pull the top over her head. From looking, she knew it seemed like it would be tight, but this was a bit much. The top stopped just below her chest, leaving her entire midriff bare. In all, the outfit seemed to hug in her in seemingly every way, which only made her face turn a pinkish hue. Slipping her feet into her black boots before exiting her room.
For a good bit, she simply wandered about the temple, no true destination in mind. Eventually, her aimless wandering put her at the entrance to the temple. A deep exhale escaped her lips as she ventured outside, arms crossed just under her chest. She would venture down a few of the stairs before dropping down and taking a seat. Even with the consistent pounding of her head, the morning wind seemed to calm her and the beauty of Voss only served to relax her further. Her eyes gazed out, head shaking slightly.
Is this what I wanted?..
