Test subjects, that's what was needed. The last experiment that the good doctor had ordered up had gone terribly wrong. And now, moving in from her failure she had something a bit better in mind. Her "daughter" daisy prowled the streets looking for an optimal target, the last one was a powerful force user and he turned the project upside down on itself. But this time would be different. Eyeing her prey Daisy spotted a very prime target, she was almost perfect. Weak, small, frail. She would serve perfectly.
Watching her from behind her helmet she continued to stare from atop the buildings of a crowded street on some back water planet she didn't care to know the name of. "This is Zero Six, target in sight moving to grab" Staying atop the building she moved to find an open area to take the girl. There wasn't much she could do, not against daisy. She was almost seven feet tall in armor and augmented to destroy almost anything in her path. "Moving" she said jumping atop another roof. She was going to take the girl and give her to Marie, what she would do to her was not her concern. @[member="Emily Beleren"]
Emily looked at her brother with frightened eyes as he headed back into the burning building. Just minutes before, a single spark had lit their house on fire. Dad was dead. Luke and another kid were busy trying to help mom escape. She was terrified. Looking around, she saw a massive crowd forming around the burning building. Though she had been on Naboo her entire life, she never thought she'd be so scared of so many people. Looking back to the doorway, she anxiously waited for any movement.
Sadly Emily wouldn't be able to stick around, the fire was consuming the building and some kid was moving to get inside to save people. Maybe daisy had something to do with it, maybe not. But all that was sure was that the girl was not going to see her family for a very very long time. "Grabbing the target." Lifting up a grenade launcher it was time for the smash and grab part of the operation. She was going to hurt the girl if she resisted but that didn't matter. What mattered what was going to come next. Sholdering her rifle she took aim into the crowd and stated blankly
Firing a few rounds into the crowd smoke dispersed, a mixture of tear gas and a few other devious things that would be sure to leave the skin burning and the feeling of suffocating in action. "Moving." dropping down from the building the giant woman walked into the crowd of coughing people until she made her way to Emily, the chaos helped hide her as she made the grab. Reaching out she grabbed Emily by the hair and began to drag her out of the crowd.
As bad as she tried to see, Emily couldn't make out anyone inside. She was ready to run back inside when she heard shots. In a matter of seconds, she was coughing up a storm. She couldn't see anything now, but suddenly felt her hair being pulled violently. "Hey! Let me go!" She screamed and tried to make her captor lose hold of her. "Help!"
Dragging Emily from the crowd daisy lifted a pistol and shot a nearby bystander in the side of his head point blank. Some of the blood sprayed onto Emily and daisy, dropping her grenade launcher and pistol onto the man's body she continued to push forward. "Pick up, now." she said coldly and deadpan. There was no emotion in her, only moving to get the job done. Quickly a transport ship touched down in the middle of a nearby park where daisy continued to drag her to. "Moving to LZ" she said not paying any attention to the squirming teenager in her hand.
Moving into the park they made their way onto the transport, daisy all but throwing her into the ship. With the door closing behind them daisy had Emily on the floor. She had taken her, and now she was all but doomed to a life of pain and experimentation. This time would be different. This time was going to be better, Marie would make sure her work survived and lived on through this girl. But now. Daisy simply stared at her without empathy or care while the shuttle took off. @[member="Emily Beleren"]
Emily continued to scream and squirm while she was dragged, even when she felt the warm splatter if blood on her face.By the time they had reached the ship, she was already crying. All she could think about was her brother and what pain he must be going through, with their parents dead and her gone. She was alone now, and so was he. Dropping her head, she wept silently.
"Shut up." daisy looked down at the poor girl and stared at her without sorrow or regret. Almost studying her in a way, daisy too was also a victim of the doctor. She just did not realize it yet, and so this girl would be as well. Just another victim in the path of science. The doctor must of needed her for something but what did she see in this weak pile of pitiful flesh. Daisy reached down and picked the 86 pound girl up with only her fingers of her left hand until they are eye to eye. "Everything you love is dead."
After she said that the last thing she would see for a long ride was Daisy's giant fist impacting her face knocking her out. Daisy was cold and calculating, she would kill or kidnap anyone when ordered. Since Rolland was off with the fringe fighting the protectorate daisy was her own personal dog who fetched things for her @[member="Emily Beleren"] (bringing in Marie after you post)
Loneliness. That was all Emily could think of as she shed her tears, hiding her face in her hands. What was going on? She would fijd that answer out sooner rather than later, as she was put to sleep with one solid hit to the head, tumbling her into complete blackness. She fell into a cold, dreamless sleep.
When Emily awoke it would be a different world, both physically and spiritually. The area was clean and white, very white. The room she was in was a rather simple one, it was an operating room and her on the table strapped to it. "Ah your awake, I have to say you are perfect child." a voice rang out to her and slowly an old woman walked out of the shadows and next to her looking down. "I'm Marie, you are Emily. You are very beautiful Emily, and don't worry I'm not going to kill you. I'm here to make you better." the old woman gave her a pat on the shoulder and smiled
"I'm sure you have a lot of question and you are very scared but I will answer anything that you want to know." she smiled and gave her another gentle pat trying to calm the more than likely frightened girl. Marie was going to do very painful things to her, but in the end she would thank Marie for all that she had done to make her that way @[member="Emily Beleren"]
Looking around, Emily began to hear the voice of an older woman speaking to her. Eventually, she laid her eyes on the scientist, eyeing her warily. "I-I'm scared... Where's Luke?" She brought her knees up to her chest and lowered her head. A little girl in a place completely foreign to her was not a good situation. All he knew was that she had to escape somehow. But how, exactly? The young girl would have to figure that out as soon as possible.
Marie was in no way shape or form a good person really. She did have her moments of cleverness however and she would use that to her advantage in this situation. Taking off her straps the woman removed what restrained Emily to the table. "Dear I'm sorry to tell you this, but your family is dead. Your brother Luke, he was killed in the fire. When you were kidnapped a man named Darren saved you and brought you here." she sighed and gently rubbed the young girls shoulder trying to comfort her in some way. Grabbing her data pad she pulled up a few pictures of charred dead bodies to show to Emily. "These were the only things found of your brothers body, dental records are a match I'm afraid." it was of course a lie but she would get this young girl to trust her one way or the other
"Now Darren brought you here for a reason child, I'm a doctor and I want to help give you a new home where you can learn and grow. You are absolutely wonderful and I want to see you happy. This is my lab, you're safe here." she said with a sweet innocent smile on her face. Hopefully @[member="Darren Shaw"] was nearby and he could help back her story up. She was going to twist and mold this young girl into a weapon. She was a powerful telekinetic, or at least had the capability to be one. @[member="Emily Beleren"]
What? Luke was... dead? Emily shook her head violently, not wanting to believe it. It couldn't b possible. "No! Luke went back inside with that other boy to save mom... He can't be dead! I don't believe you..." Her eyes were filled with tears, a sign that she had officially given up. She was defeated.
Children are easier to work with, their younger minds more accepting of indoctrination. Their growing bodies easier to work with, truly the girl was broken and defeated. Now all that was left was to make her feel at home. "I'm sorry, but the building collapsed while they were inside. Their bodies were found in the rubble, you've been out for three days." I'm truth it had only been a day since the kidnapping but she didn't need to know that, they were on Atrisia now and the planet had a very different rotation than Naboo. "It's ok sweetheart. I'm here for you." wrapping her arms around the girl she held Emily closely and brushed her hair to comfort her.
Oh how she had plans for this girl, this was such a better idea than hulk plant. Seriously that idea was just dumb, it even got her stabbed. "Dear you are home now, this place Is safe and I won't let anything bad happen to you, I promise." Marie spoke in a soft comforting voice as she continued her gentle hug of the small girl. She would make her strong, one way or the other Marie would use her. @[member="Emily Beleren"]
Whimpering softly, Emily returned the hug, her face buried in the woman's arms. Sniffling, she looked up at her. "You... You promise? I don't want to be hurt like Luke and my parents. You'll keep me safe, right?" Se looked with hopeful eyes into that of the doctor's, tears still streaking her face.
"Of course dear, I promise. You will be strong, I will help you be strong." The old woman smiled back then continued to hug the small girl. She would give her free roam of facility and the labs under the imperial palace. Even let her wander around the palace to let her feel like she really wasn't a prisoner here. Emily was very much going to be hurt whether she knew it or not, Marie planned to begin her work tonight when she slept. Marie would have her out under so they could begin the first of many surgeries. And she could still seem like a hero in her eyes. It wasnt about money or power, it was proving a point that her work was unserpassed in the galaxy.
"Here let me show you to your room, we're on Atrisia. The galactic capital of the empire. This place will be your home, you are free to go into town and get yourself a few things if need be." Getting up Marie made her way to the door to show the young girl to her room. This was going to be a very long process of lies and pain for the girl. She would be better for it the end though @[member="Emily Beleren"]
"O-okay..." Emily stood up and reached for the woman's hand, not out of trust but out of habit. She had always walked hand-in-hand with her brother, so it was simply instinct to do so now. Walking with her, Emily began to look around the facility. It was completely white, a detail she was only just now noticing. It was also... quiet. Only the slightest sound of whirring machines could be heard in the background. So far, she liked this new home. However, it would take more than quiet and cleanliness to cure her of her mental scars.
This was too easy, marie would almost chuckle from her cleverness but for now she would play along like nothing would happen. "My dear, you will love it here. Safest place in the galaxy." holding her hand she continued to walk down the hall until they reached a door. Sliding open Marie walked into the room. It was every teenaged girls dream, her own room with all the utilities and tools she could ever want. The only thing it was missing was a functioning data pad with a connection to naboo. She couldn't go around learning the truth, that would only make things hard.
"We are about fifty feet underground, if you ever want any air then the turbo lift is right down the hall. Here take this." reaching into her coat pocket Marie handed the girl about a good two thousands credits. "There's a shopping center in town to buy what you need. If you need someone to go with you my son Rolland will escort you and show you around." she smiled and walked back over to the door. "Just call me or talk to any of the staff if you need me." walking out the door all that was left now was for her to wait until she fell asleep so they could begin their work. @[member="Emily Beleren"]
As she was led to her room, Emily smiled softly through her tears. She would be given a home here, where she could be loved and cared for. It wouldn't be nearly as good as her own family, but it would do for the time being. Looking around, she flopped clumsily on the bed. It was so soft and comfortable. Smiling again, she turned to thank the woman, but she was gone. Sighing, she ignited she'd get some sleep before anything, then maybe go to the shopping center later.
Even though I was spoken about, I stayed in the shadows of the room. I was dressed in simple clothing, but I was very well hidden. As the doctor left the room. As the young lady tried to go to sleep, I took a few steps forwards, yet my face was still hidden from the lights.
"I'm sorry Emily, I wished that I could have gone back to get your brother and mother."
Really I could care less. This girl needed to have no ties to her past. and without a family, she would have nothing to hold her back.
