  Eugene Sŏl was born in Seoul to a noble family who controls a metal-rich administrative region in the planet. He was raised as an heir of the family, being the only son, but he developed rebellious streaks from a very young age, which culminate in him running away from his family when he was 21 years old, taking with him enough resources to survive and start a life in the Wild Space's and Outer Rim's underworld. Making a new life as a smuggler, bounty hunter, gun-for-hire, and independent entrepreneur, Eugene climbed his way up the regions' high society, never completely abandoning his true nature.
