TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

SPECIAL FEATURES
- Evolving and selfrepairing nature: Due to the influence of nightsister magicks, sith alchemy and sorcery combined with the presence of a corrupted rainbow gem, the Eternal Lament is capable of repairing itself from most minor damage in little to no time such as chips, edgewear, edgerolls can be repaired and smoothed over in but a few moments, while by doing so the blade also strengthens itself considerably in response to overcome that which had managed to crack or chip it in the first place. This is however temporary, as it requires a great deal of effort from the semi-sentient raibow gem embedded within the blade. Meaning after a very intense fight, during the next battle in which the blade it is used, it would not have retained the evolved status of the prior battle.
- Lightsaber resistance to the max: Capable of shrugging off most of the heat and damaging nature of a lightsaber's plasma, with the capacity to even shortcircuit lightsabers in rare occassions due to the cortosis lining.
- Force Drain: A minor application of Force drain has been woven into the blade through intricate runework, capable of slowly weakening any organic and inorganic objects and people touched by or utilizing the force through both minor and prolongued contact.
- Aura of unease: This blade passively boosts the aura of unease ability, allowing for its wielder's presence to be more intimidating, more imposing and terrifying.
- Capable of cutting the Force itself, through a combination of nightsister magicks and sith sorcery, this blade is capable of cutting through physical force applications, but also force imbuements of other weapons through the use of its passive force drain. This would not ignore other material's strength or durability, but does lessen the impact of opposing force-imbued weaponry.
STRENGTHS
- Lightsaber and blaster resistant
- extremely sharp
- capable of evolving through useage
- extremely durable materials further enhanced through sith sorcery and alchemy
WEAKNESSES
- The alchemic and magick properties of this weapon are weak to force nullification of any kind
- Heavy and unwieldy sword in the wrong hands
- easily detected through force sense
- Corrosion resistance is negligable
DESCRIPTION
While the Lord of Hunger had been utilizing the Genesis blade for several decades, it was starting to show several weaknesses when it came to its overall use in battle. While it was without any question or any shadow of a doubt a capable and powerful sword, it lacked the versatility seen in many of the expertly crafted weapons utilized by the higher echelons in both sith and jedi society, thus forcing The Lord of Hunger to reevaluate his own possessions and creations and decide upon their further use.
Utilizing the Genesis as the benchmark though, Credius Nargath went to work, utilizing his connections through Section C to gain access to a wide variety of expensive and rare materials necessary for creating a more improved, more imposing blade which could replace the Genesis Blade in future use. Utilizing a corrupted rainbow gem as the core of the weapon, the Eeternal Lament was forged out of Phrik with electrum etchings and runework to channel and strengthen the sith alchemy, sorcery and nightsister magicks woven into the blade during the forging process. Upon completion of the blade, its edges were coated by the controversial Svolten Rhyolite material, which would maximize the blade's inherent sharpness.
The hilt and crossguard were crafted out of the N&Z's very rare zillonite material, further boosting the Eternal Lament's resistance to lightsabers and most other weaponry. Within this hilt, the corrupted rainbow gem was embedded, while a Sanguinite variation on the artificial kyber crystals was utilized in an uncut and unpolished form as a sort of rough and crude, but still useful pommel.
To better suit its wielder, the blade is capable of storing the energy it has siphoned off from opponents and their weapons, utilizing the pommel as a sort of storage, meaning the brighter and more crimson the sanguinite kyber crystal becomes, the more it has been filled up with the Force. Similarly, the corrupted rainbow gem amplifies and boosts the use and presence of uneasy presence, granting its wielder a far more effective and intimidating aura.
