DESCRIPTION
The Ermidyon Steelweave was originally thought of by a cooperation between the N&Z EnSol Division and its own subsidiary Starworks, the idea was to create a very formfitting material with very good insulator properties and a high tensile strength in order to allow for it to be used in creations such as nullsuits, jumpsuits and pilot envirosuits. While it took some heavy inspiration from the various known and popular 'weaves' around on the market, the Ermidyon Steelweave is unique in the fact that it also has the capacity to act as the basic for ballistic vests and stealth suits with the correct modifications and applications.

Unlike Ermidyon Steelweave A, Ermidyon Steelweave B relies on the more accessible standard Ersteel SLCA and replaces the expensive and hard to produce Eridium alloy with the less labor intensive ultrachrome though in smaller quantities to maintain a proper pricing of the endresult. Luckily, ultrachrome provides nearly the same remarkable aspects in regards to high lightsaber resistance and thermal regulation, though due to the change to standard Ersteel SLCA, the eventual fabric will be somewhat less protective against heavy blows and impacts as it would lack the superior kinetic force distribution of Eridium Alloy.

As usual, the steelweave is formed by interweaving 'single atom' strands in a nanoweave, which is ten interwoven with thin strands of cured Janus PBP [polymorphic Bio-polymer], creating a fabric that is both durable and supple, boasting amazing plasticity and tensile strength at a more affordable cost. It's formfitting and plasticity grant this material a wide variety of uses, ranging from nullsuits and jumpsuits to even vests and coats, but also as a means to insulate wiring or cybernetics.
