Entrapment

"Yes, I am. And that's why I want you to come to the Dark Side of the Force. I carry the child and I believe he or she will be as corrupted as I am. Do you want to spend the rest of your life as a Jedi, trying to convert us to your side? You won't succeed. You'd have to spend every day with two Sith," Lilith said. She turned around for a moment, but then she faced Vitor again. "You must understand, that I am who I am. And I will always be like that. You can't love only the Jedi me. You must love me, not just a part of me."

She stepped closer to the man and put her lips on his.

"There is no more Jedi you, though. You disposed of the last of it when you laid with me." He sighed. "But I will not abandon you. You're the mother of my child, whether I like it or not, and I will take care of you until the child is born. I also will make sure to be an integral part of his or her life - abandonment is something I refuse to do."

His Jedi side was winning out after all. If he were Sith, he'd have abandoned her.

"It is good to hear that. But I still want you to join me. It's lonely on the Dark Side of the Force. I want you to come with me. We could both have fun," Lilith said. Of course she was a bit sad that Vitor was almost impossible to convert. She had to come up with something supreme... with something even more powerful than the Dark Side Spell.

"Who do you think the baby will be: a boy or a girl?" Lilith asked to keep the conversation going.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
"Darkness will corrupt the child... I'll say a girl." Vitor sighed again. "Hopefully it will be, so she won't bear the Imperieuse name during marriage." He didn't want his family honor to be further corrupted. "I will abide by my promise to never abandon our child, and to not abandon you - at least until he or she is of she and Able to take care of themselves."

She was going to be hard to bring back to the light.

"It's good to hear that... I would've always hated you if you would've decided to abandon me," Lilith said. "I also hope the baby will be a girl... but if not, then you'll have to spend the majority of these years with a Darksider who demands you to teach him. And it would be a shame." She really hoped Vitor will come to the Dark Side of the Force later, when the child is born.

"I think I will have to find a more permanent home because of the child. But I will never live in the Republic space. Never."

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
"Then where should you live? Perhaps an apartment on the border of Republic space? It would allow for ease of visiting were I to transfer to the nearest Jedi conclave." He did have a logical point. "Perhaps somewhere in Black Sun space?" As silly as that sounded, with a war on the horizon, it was a possible option. "If circumstances occurred to endanger your life or the child's, I would certainly need to be nearby." Absolutely superb logic.

He was taking entrapment well.

"I don't know. There are many possibilities, but I think I shouldn't live anywhere in the Black Sun space. They are too criminal for me," Lilith said. But she had an idea. "Have you hear about a planet called Zahat'n'ira? It's a cool planet in the edge of the galaxy and people don't think much about it. I could find a cool little place to live there with the kid."

@[member="Vitor Imperieuse"]

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
"yes, but it would be difficult for me to reach you in the event that something were to happen. I doubt other factions would want someone like myself traveling through their space." A valid point. "Well... I suppose I should go with you , then, to take care of you and make sure you're alright. I will not shirk my duty to the Jedi simply due to this."

Charming to the last...

@[member="Lilith Mae Lancaster"]

"Vitor, I am a Force-user. I can do some things by myself. You can focus on your work while I raise the kid and do other things. I could start helping the tribes on Zahat'n'ira or something. And if something happens, there will be someone who can help me. Zahati'i are Druids. They use their nature-stuff to do the things we do with using the normal Force," Lilith said. She didn't want Vitor to worry, but secretly... she had some other plans.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
"But I want to be there for you. Even... Even if it means retiring from the Jedi Order for some time. I have done it before, and I suppose I can do it again." He sighed. This was not an admission of defeat, or a giving in to the Dark Side. This was being the father that many men in the galaxy chose not to do, a particularly dishonorable thing. "Well, Lilith, you have me. What do you want from me now?"

He was curious as to what her intention was now.

@[member="Lilith Mae Lancaster"]

"Alright... But whatever you want to do..." Lilith said. She move a bit closer to Vitor and kissed him, feeling his soft lips again. She tried sending some darkness to him, because she still wanted to corrupt him. "I will start looking for a nice place, then... And I should start learning some Druid stuff from them if I want to gain their trust." It wasn't normal Lilith talk, but like said before, she had some plans. And if she wanted the plans to succeed, she had to change her ways a bit.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
"Let me go with you." He sighed. "Despite my disgust with your taint... I still do have feelings for you. We can be like a married couple. You know, purchasing our first family house." He sighed, thinking of family life, almost letting it pull him away from his Jedi rhetoric. "We're a family now, I suppose... I suppose that for the sake of keeping your reputation intact, the two of us should be wed. It would bring shame upon both myself and yourself were we to be found having a child while unmarried."

His logic was... relatively infallible.

@[member="Lilith Mae Lancaster"]

"You may come with me if you want to, but only if you feel like you want to come. I would manage being with the child by myself, but if you want to be there, I can't do anything against it," Lilith said. When she heard, that the man wants to marry her, she suddenly became extremely happy. "I would love to do that. It doesn't have to be anything big. Maybe just some friends or maybe even only some Zahati'i. We could buy or build a house there and we would live a happy life together until the child grows up or until... one of us dies or something."

@[member="Vitor Imperieuse"]

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
"It's a matter of personal honor, Lilith. Something I still intend to uphold despite my actions." He sighed. "Let's find a chapel and be wed as soon as possible. Before it goes out of the realm of possibility that you conceived on your wedding night with me. Your dishonor is the last thing I'd want to see." A true act of chivalry on his part, though one that was admittedly desperate.

But he loved her, didn't he?

@[member="Lilith Mae Lancaster"]

"Let's do that, but we should avoid Coruscanti chapels... I don't feel comfortable with being in the core of the Republic Space for so long," Lilith answered. It all had started moving so fast, that Lilith felt a bit odd, but she tried to ignore the feeling. "And we should do it really soon, then..." Even though she didn't actually want to hurry with things, she felt like it was the right thing. It would give them safety.

@[member="Vitor Imperieuse"]

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
"Then where would you advise that we get married? I agree, Coruscanti chapels are more than likely a bad idea, considering your taint... But where else would you consider high classed, yet willing to marry a Light and Darksider?" He had to admit, of the many places he'd been to in the galaxy, there were few - if none - high class establishments willing to marry people on opposite sides of the war.

Maybe it was because they thought such relationships wouldn't last.

@[member="Lilith Mae Lancaster"]

"I don't know..." Lilith said. During her trips across the galaxy she had never seen any high-class wedding places. Maybe it was because she had no reason to look for them. But there was also the chance, that it was because she had never visited any other high-class planets. She knew they existed, but she didn't want to visit them because most of them were in the Republic space and she didn't want to be in there anymore.

"Does it have to be such a great thing? I mean... we could have a little, tiny wedding somewhere and we would be able to keep low profile..."

@[member="Vitor Imperieuse"]

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
"High class doesn't automatically mean large and fancy, Lilith... It just means good service and superior quality compared to your standard location." He smiled, deciding that perhaps he should show a bit more emotion after all. "Lilith..." He smiled, gently taking her hands. "Will you marry me?"

Wow... Such sappyness.

@[member="Lilith Mae Lancaster"]

"Yes, I will!" Lilith almost screamed. It was partially faked, but some of it was honest. She had waited for that question for some time now. Now that she finally heard it it wasn't that surprising and powerful, but still... She remembered the time from her childhood when she always thought she is a princess and on one day a prince on a white horse will come and take her to his castle. She would've become a queen and would've ruled her kingdom with a kind hand. But the dream disappeared with all the tragedies that took place in her past.

Both the sadness from the memories and happiness made Lilith cry. It was such a beautiful moment, but it was also sad...

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Taking her hands, Vitor gave her a sad smile, pulling her close as he gazed into her eyes. "Thank you, darling... Perhaps you'll be redeemed later down the line after we live together for some time." Then he moved in, kissing her. "I love you." And he said it with such sincerity, very high amounts of true adoration towards the woman before him. And how could he not - they were going to be parents soon, and aside from her darkness, Lilith was the perfect girl for him to wed.

Well, he hoped this marriage would be good..."
