The Cousin
Jaron stood on the deck of the Vindicator looking out at the third moon below. His heart was racing with the excitement of setting foot on the moon where everything began for the Knights of Ren so long ago. With all the newer disciples, and others, who needed training, Jaron felt there was no better place than the forest moon. The history for them was rich here, and there were other prizes for them as well. Perhpas there would be those among the group who would capture a piece of Vader's armor. There were rumors parts of it still laid on the surface below.
"We have reached an acceptable orbit, m'lord."
The Ren turned, his masked face looking to the Admiral. His usual attire of black and red was worn today, and the mask had not come off his face unless in the privacy of his other Ren, or when he was alone. There was only one other person Jaron took the mask off for, and in fact preferred to not where it around, his pilot, Captain [member="Daska Tess"]. There was a bond of sorts forming between them, one which was not what Jaron was used to. He'd never been bonded to someone unable to use the force, and yet he knew of no other way to describe it.
< "Tell the rest to meet me in the hangar bay. The Prime Shadow and her pilot will be taking us to the surface. Maintain this orbit, and monitor for any unusual activity. Should any hostile ships approach destroy them. Do not interrupt us unless it is an emergency." >
The mask contained a voice modulator making Jaron sound more brooding than he was in person. He enjoyed the look of fear the Admiral had when he spoke. There was not much to fear from Jaron as from one like [member="Belis Ren"], or [member="Greifen Ren"], but the desired result was the same.
"Do you understand."
The Admiral stood tall and straight.
"Yes, m'lord," he said, and Jaron turned on his heels to depart.
The announcement was made as Jaron made his way to the hangar bay. Through the force he reached out to his apprentice's mind. Hopefully she was dressed appropriately for this exercise. The last thing he wanted to do was explain why she did not comply with the others. He did not mind her nonconformity in other things, he was like her in that regard, but she needed to make sure she conformed enough to go unnoticed.
"Meet me in the hangar bay. We have arrived and are heading to the surface."
