Embassy of Ambition (Silver Jedi Ambassadors)

The Silver Rest, Kashyyyk.
Training Wing, Holographic Environment.

The lesson had been a long time coming…

Veiere had been flat out with his responsibilities outside of the classroom environment, that he had admittedly neglected his role and responsibility in training other diplomatic envoys meant for the representation of the Order of the Silver Jedi. This was of course, due to lack of time, not motivation nor the importance of the role.

Today however, Veiere had called for those with a vested interest in the role. Some of them had spoken out, asking Veiere for their inclusion; others like Aida Aquila and Josh Dragonsflame had already been experienced and practicing ambassadors or diplomats for the Order since before Veiere’s arrival and official joining. Despite this, there was a shortage and a need for more responsible and mature members of the Order to work under the Assembly in delegating with other organizations and people outside of Kashyyyk.

Today, their lesson was to be held in one of the holographic training rooms, the roof and walls lined with sensors and emitters meant to manipulate the environment into taking on the appearance and visual illusion of other worlds, other environments and even depicting other people, programmed to act as if they were present in a real life setting and commmunity.

For the time being, the room was but a room. The Holo-emitters inactive and Veiere awaiting for the others to arrive so that they could move forward and try to build further purpose and import to the organization of the Silver Jedi.

Stepping into the training room Illyria, Veiere Arenais’ padawan, had this time arrived quite early. Much of her life had been leading up to this moment, for as she much training as she had received in the Force and the lightsaber – she was sorely lacking when it came to diplomacy. A pivotal technique that she sought to introduce herself to, because when it came down to it, she rather solve a conflict without having to draw her lightsaber. For now, the room was little more than a room, though it was clear to her that it was quite a bit more. Her attention falling onto the subtle presence of the technology that would turn this room into something else entirely.

But it appeared they were waiting on everyone else to arrive and so Illyria strode forwards, stopping only when she had approached Veiere. “Seems I’m early today master.” Today Illyria reflected herself as she was most days, her personally modified Silver Jedi robes embracing her Hapan frame, hair half-loose and half braided – reminiscent of the ancient padawan braids, her’s a homage to the practice. Lightsaber clipped to her utility belt, though today she assumed it would go unwielded, it was nevertheless always with her. At least until the day came that she would replace it with one that was her own creation and return it back to the temple.

With hands on her waist she too now waited. They would undoubtedly be any minute now.

Josh had been grateful for the formation of the Ambassadors, if he was being honest. Sure, he and Aida had been holding the fort for years now, but they were only two people. Two people who also shared other duties. While the Silver Jedi Order were protectors, the job wasn't finished when they put their lightsabers down. That was when the job had only just begun. To negotiate, to bond, to convey their will and ideals to the galaxy around them. They needed more people that could do that, and the more people that were capable, then the more they could spread themselves around, and make it easier on the individual members.

While Josh technically did not need to attend the meeting as he was already an ambassador, he was curious to see who was on board. So as it was, he would meet Veiere, and it seemed to be one of the Order's Padawans as well. He was curious who else had a vested interest in the role. A role that was just as important as the time spent with lightsabers out and swinging and one that would play a heavy part in the Order's future.
