At first glance Elijah comes across as very lanky person, his general physicality from a far glance betrays the fact that beneath his various items of clothing is a body worn in from years of training as a soldier and a SIS Agent. The most notable thing about his appearance however is thre is a significant scarring down the right side of his body; a result from the explosion that nearly killed him.

Personality:
Before everything changed, Elijah was quite two-sided when it came to his personality. Years of being in the military had crafted him into a very astute and professional man, that would follow orders to a tee. He'd regularly be looked at as strict, no nonsense, on the nose about everything; especially military matters. Whereas the other side of him was a charismatic young man, incredibly out going and someone you could easily be friends with. He'd be there as emotional support; a shoulder to cry on, and always be down to go out and grab a drink.
However now a days; after the tradedy, Elijah has become incredibly withdrawn and keeps mainly to himself. He's never too far away from some type of alcohol, and typically keeps his emotions bottled up. As a stark contrast to his old life, his general mood at times has a tendancy to drag things down, but sometimes; rarely, his old personality slips through the cracks of the walls he built around himself.
Strengths & Weaknesses:
+ SIS Trained - Years spent as a Agent in the Galactic Alliance has given Elijah valuable lessons and training that has formed him into the soldier he is today. This ranges from general fighting in battles and wars, to sneaking and hacking his way into the enemy's secrets.
+ Hardened Shell - His time fighting in wars both on the battlefield and behind the scenes has forced Elijah to form a hardened emotional shell around himself. Stuff that would make a regular joe queasy, second guess his choices and so on, just waves over him like it's nothing.
+ Leader in Hiding - Despite everything that's happened to him, Elijah's former skills as a soldier; specifically as a leader/commander still lingers within him. He just needs someone to bring it back to the surface.
- Force Newbie - Elijah was a late bloomer when it came to discovering his Force potential, and as such has had barely any Force training.
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder - A combination of years fighting; and the tragic events that took his team's life has caused Elijah to develop a case of PTSD. It has a majorly negative impact on him with constant nightmares when sleeping, to freezing up at the sight and sounds of combat.
- Alchoholic - To try and drown his sorrow and memories, Elijah has developed a liking for consuming alcohol on a regular basis. Enough so that he keeps a flask full of it on his person, and will generally become grouchy if there's none available when he wants it. Which is most of the time.

Biography
The earliest memory Elijah can recall is of being an orphan, and for the longest time had no idea whether his parents had died or had simply just abandoned him. He was simply left in the care of his godfather who happened to be an acting General in the Galactic Alliance. As such he was quickly pushed towards the military path after he graduated from his school and entered the academy to be trained as a soldier. During this period of time he showed an interest in certain aspects of espionage, something that caught the attention of his teachers that was relayed to their superiors, which kept certain pairs of eyes watching the young man after he eventually graduated from the academy and entered the battlefield.
His time as a soldier was relatively short, even though Elijah was able to quickly rise through the ranks enough to be leading his own squad within a year of officially joining the military. IT was cut short because he quickly drafted into the GA's Strategic Information Service as an Agent.
As part of the SIS, Elijah's work ethic became almost frighteningly strict. It was too a point that he was very much referred to; behind his back mind you, as having a stick up his arse. What surprised those around him however, was that as soon as he was off the clock his personality did a literal flip and he became an outgoing young man who easily drew others to him. He ended up befriending a number of his fellow agents and other military personnel. It became a regular occurance that whenever there was a time off, Elijah would be meeting up with friends at some bar or just generally resting at some place of enterainment.
It was during his SIS years that he made an error, at least in the eyes of his superiors. He had fallen in love.
Her name was Yuna, a Twi'lek bartender at the place Elijah and his friends regularly visited. He hadn't been the only one to hit on her, but it was Elijah who had seemingly won her heart that night. In the past he had his fair share of love interests, one night stands excetra, but there was something about her that enchanted him. She somehow managed to draw out a side of Elijah he didn't know existed; a clumsy and shy side of him. Which brought a lot of amusement for his friends. Despite this though, the group made an oath to keep his relationship a secret.
Over time the relationship developed to a point where Yuna discovered she was pregnant with child, both were ecstatic and Elijah made plans to marry her. This was however when the first tragedy of his life happened.
Across his time in the SIS, Elijah had become a distinctive thorn in the side of a number of enemies to the Galactic Alliance. Namely a few of them were Sith. So, about a few months into her pregnancy, Yuna was inbound back home to visit her family. Elijah had wanted to accompany her, but his workload was too much to find any free time. Unfortunately one of Elijah's enemies learned of this, and orchestated an ambush that destroy the ship she was on.
Elijah was heartbroken, but he couldn't show it around his superiors. So instead he walled his emotions up and dove head first into his work. He became a terror for any enemy of the GA he thought were responsible, manage at one point to face down a Sith but was unable to deal a killing blow. Ultimately though, Elijah was never able to discover the indentity of his fiances' murderer.
Fast forward some years and Elijah was leading a team again, a mix of his former squad and other SIS agents. All of them were good friends to him, people he'd give his life for. This was the second tragedy to strike him.
The group were on a routine mission, scouting out a potential enemy base that had reports of activity. Everything had been going smoothly, no interference and nothing had gone wrong. It became clear that the place had been occupied recently, but had been evacuated not long before they had arrived.
Then the entire complex blew up. It had been a trap.
Elijah was the only one to survive, having been tackled aside by one of his friends that ended up taking the full blast of an explosion. Although Elijah did take some damage to the right side of his body. He had barely made it back to the ship, manage to get a distress call out to the rest of the party. After being saved and taken back home to heal, it was discovered Elijah had only survived his wounds because of the Force. Somehow, someway he had awoken his potential.
He entered a tricky situation from this point on. He was forced to retire from the SIS, but the Galactic Alliance didn't want him out of their reach because he knew secrets and such that wouldn't do well if were revealed to the general public. So as a solution he was given to the New Jedi Order to be trained, and in turn still be within their domain.
Elijah's time in the NJO only lasted for a year, though it was enough for him to at least learn the basics. What happened was during a training session, he was sparing against another Padawan, one much younger than him. The young man made a passing comment about Elijah's past and his friends, something in him snapped and he straight up assaulted the Padawan. Going to a point of breaking the guy's arm, shoulder and a number of his fingers.
To say the least it didn't go down well, and Elijah had been temporarily locked up until action could be taken. He was far too volatile to remain with the NJO, and a motion was made to send him to the Silver Jedi instead. The Galactic Alliance however refused this, for their previous desire to keep him within their circle of influence.
Death was the only other solution that came to Elijah's mind one night. And he wasn't going to let that happen.
So he broke out of his confinement and fled, away from the NJO and from GA territory entirely. It was during this period of time; of running and hiding that he would eventually find his way to the Order of the Sacred Lotus.
