DESCRIPTION
Elementrite is a rare crystal mineral. Which can be located in underground caverns where water is prevalent. Often times these caverns are near geothermal vents and are quite open in size. Elementrite is known too only be discovered by those who are aware its existence and are actively trying to collect it, or to those the crystal deposits specifically calls out to. Primarily these individuals are people searching for crystals to use for meditation or crafting a saber. The crystals will subject their pursuer with a trial generally of the mind. As well as when in a force Nexus these crystals ability to influence what is around them is greatly empowered. While they remain in their natural deposit.
Elementrite is known to come in dark greens, blues, and purples. Though like most living crystals. They can be made to bleed red. Elementrite has a deep connection with the force. Which is why it is able to interact in the ways it does. On top of its connection to the environment around it. For reasons which consist likely in the fact the crystals only develop in caverns where all the elements in nature are present in some context. A cluster the Elementrite is often considered very heavy. However, when harvested into crystals for use. These tend to be much lighter. It can be considered smooth yet almost warm to the touch when collected at first, though it soon cools and is no different than any other smooth crystal.

- Elementrite is a weird crystal. It is easily mistaken as semi-sentient in it has the ability to call out to force users, can have a force signature imprinted upon it.. developing a sort of loyalty to the owner, and makes a humming melody to anyone who meditates upon it. Some even claim they hear voices. Which given further explained abilities could either be echoes, or distant conversation.
- Elementrite will be named this as when a user meditates upon the crystal it will grant the user an array of various benefits depending upon what they focus on. While meditating the user can heighten their senses well beyond their normal capabilities through the force and gain a level of clairvoyance. Another aspect they could meditate upon grants the user enhanced focus, being able to block out distractions as well as offer a strengthened resolve. Alternatively they could seek rejuvenation and refreshment. While this doesn't physically heal the owner, it can ease even immense pain into a dull throb, and give a second wind when needed. Finally an aspect which can be focused upon provides the user with sharpened reflexes, and seemingly a slight boost in their combat ability.
- The above aspects are only accessible through meditative focus and can be suppressed by force nulifying techniques and force void areas.
- Elementrite crystals are heavily in tune with the Force.. As such natural deposits of Elementrite can alter the elements around them in a defensive manner. As well as influence the mind of one who seeks to claim it as a means of testing the potential owner of the crystal.
- When in possession of an owner. The owners ability to also influence the elements around them through use of the force is Slightly enhanced. This is it's only passive ability it grants it's owner.
- Elementrite bonds usually only to a single individual. Making it handy for the use of meditation, as well as a weapon. As it will not operate to its full effectiveness in others' hands.
- Elementrite grants the user temporary enhanced mental and physical aspects. Depending on what aspect the user focuses upon during meditation. It is possible to acquire the benefits of all aspects though is exceptionally tricky to do so.
- Elementrite can be used to craft lightsabers and other weapons
- Elementrite can Slightly boost the owner's ability to manipulate the natural elements around them through their use of the force.
- Elementrite is highly resistant to Heat, Cold, Pressure and Corrosive forces. Primarily due to the environments which the crystals form within.
- The benefits to Elementrite are mostly reliant upon meditation. Therefore, anything that would tear a person out of a meditative mindset would take away these boons. It takes a lot of skill of a user to be able to tap into these during a full-on battle, as too much stimulus and unexpected happenings are exactly the sort of stuff which would ruin focus.
- The owner is usually only able to tap into one or two enhancing aspects at a time. For similar reasons it takes tremendous skill to be able to focus upon all four aspects of the crystal.. and this is further affected by intense situations.
- Elementrite crystals only respond to its full ability to one person. Usually, the individual the crystal called to provided the owner meditates upon the crystal and imprints their force signature. So. If the individual tries to explain what they are experiencing. To anybody else it would seem like they're losing their mind.
- Elementrite crystals are susceptible to certain sonic attacks. Usually high-pitched frequencies. Unless encased in a protective environment such as a hilt these crystals can be shattered by these kinds of attacks.
- Force nullification effects will render the crystal's meditative properties useless until removed from what is jamming it. It can still be functional as essentially a Kyber crystal, however.
- Elementrite offers a weapon no benefits beyond what a basic Kyber crystal would. Its benefits are primarily through enhancements to certain uses of the force, and when meditated upon.
- If kept in a Force Nullifying effect or left in a force void area for too long. Usually a period of a week. The crystal will die and shatter as well.
