APPEARANCE: Long red hair, extremely fair skin. Slender and taller than the majority of humans. Blue green eyes, and a habit of wearing her hair up in a ponytail, or braided to keep it from her face during battle. Her clothing choices are generally simple, and whatever will allow her the greatest movement to be able to fight easily and without restriction.
BIOGRAPHY: Born to wealthy merchants, Mauraet Saedaris and Airues Saedaris, Santaissa was her playground, often exposed to offworlders and their strange ways. Unlike her twin Elanil, Elayne had little desire for their tastes and cultures and was a keen observer in the interactions between the many races picking up on many societal dynamics. Something that like it or not did leave an influence on her, and left her with a slightly more progressive mindset than most, and more accepting of a few select races than many of her kin. Though still nothing like her scientist sister who took to everything she saw and wanted so much more.
Much to her sister's chagrin, Elayne had been blessed with the gift of the Force, quite powerfully so. At discovering her gifts she had to undergo training as all Eldorai force users are required to undertake. Elayne wasn't your ordinary force user as was soon found. Her gifts lay in the earth itself, Geomancy. Having a rather natural talent for moving stone, manipulating it, shattering it without much effort behind it. This wasn't the only talent she had within the elements. Air seemed a secondary gift to her. Aeromancy, while it took her more efforts, more time and training, and she was no where near as powerful with it as she was with her more earthly skills, but none the less she was effective with it.
The two sisters themselves once did had a great relationship with one another as children. Identical twins, they enjoyed all the perks that came with that, switching places with one another and the like. But while their looks were identical, the girls were far from it. Elayne was far more grounded, street smart and very much a tomboy. Elanil, always had her head in the clouds, dreaming of lofty things, lacking the street smarts of her sister, and quite the girly girl.
Eventually the two girls differences started to draw them apart. Elayne's force powers drew out a jealousy and bitterness in Elanil feeling left out while her sister was greatly celebrated for her gifts, Elanil couldn't share in that joy, that path. That was a road only Elayne could take alone, and that deeply hurt Elanil and greatly influenced her views on the world and life. Elayne took to her more worldly nature, bouncing from all sorts outdoor activities and gaining valuable skills that Elanil thought were beneath her. Furthering the tension between the twins was the strength of Elayne's powers did not go unnoticed, and she was recruited for the Angelii, an elite group of Eldorai women, accepting only the best with an aptitude for combat. This was something that irritated Elanil to no end, pushing the other twin into more and more dangerous works in her science studies working deeper and deeper into unconventional weapons to try and make a name for herself to rival her sister.
