El Dorado: The Founding Discussion

Alright so i'm putting this here for the members of ED who will end up participating in the factions first thread which will inevitably result in the founding of El Dorado. Initially, i considered merely having a thread set in a bar or something but ultimately decided to do something fitting the themes of the faction itself.

One idea i have is a D&D style quest where everyone is somehow lured in one way shape or form and hired for what should be an easy job. Which eventually turns into a pretty lengthy series of events that end with a dungeon or ancient ruin and an awesome boss fight. The specifics in my head are kinda worked out, but i'd like to hear what you all would like to do first that would lead to the founding of the faction.

I was thinking, instead of having this happy come together strife free sort of start. Perhaps somewhere between a Guardians of the Galaxy style team up mixed in with some plot hooks that will able to highlight the contrasting character PoV's to be able to bring out good character dynamics and lay down lines for future 1 on 1 threading and character development.

Also, something for everybody to do. Nothings going to go on very well if someone feels like they aren't part of a ​team, ​nobody should feel like a background character or secondary to the person flinging around the biggest stick. Want everyone to have a good time that way everybody wants to keep building on that awesome time.

I suggest multiple goals or objectives for individual characters throughout our epic quest, so everyone has some gud character development.

That was pretty much the plan lol. Splitting up into groups of 2 or three throughout the thread and eventually meeting back up to do something and discuss everything that each group found out. I can probably make a separate account and use it as a Dungeon Master type thing.

Alright, i worked each phase of this story and how the events will pretty much be framed out. I'm going to make an El Dorado Event account and post the thread with that and tag all of you ok?
