Sala'dine

Admiral of the Ghost Fleet
The ghost fleet had been hidden, with a withdraw it had been simple. Sala'dine just needed to have the ships go to stealth mode and they disappeared. Returning to the massive base as they brought the ships into its care. The wasps patrolling around and disguising it like a hive for the creatures. This far out in space she spoke walking down the halls of the station. THe soldiers on either side prepared and saluting her before hands clasped behind her back. She was looking over at the ships being worked on in the docks here... Where they checked out everything the starfighters could do and the larger vessels. Her eyes going along until she got to her office and with the patrol craft returned the base made a jump to another sector. Not entirely the fastest way but they could keep moving, they could keep themselves mobile compared to others and she was looking at a map of the galaxy as they moved further and further into uncharted sections of the galaxy to hide themselves. She moved into her office and sat down. The chair looked out over the desk from uneti wood that had been painted dark red. A smile on her face while books, physical books were behind her. Preserved for her use in her spare time. She didn't have much but whe they arrived several days later the facility was in the distance. No one would notice the asteroid on the edge of the system less the cloaked ships that would come out from it. She was here after all to find an old... friend? Rival.... someone she respected and knew the value of having give input for ships.... It was time to find Viera Kisep Viera Kisep

After the failed project that was the Imperial Remnant, Viera enjoyed her renewed youth till now, where she was old again. It was crazy to think that she had lived two lives. She eked out an existence in the middle of nowhere. Her compound full of those loyal to her family. She wouldn’t forget them ever, granted it was more of small town now. She missed the days where she was a moment away from death, where she looked out onto a tactical display and decided the lives of thousands or millions or billions with simple orders. This is what her second grab for power had gotten her, nothing but a life lived in peace and hiding. If she was still young maybe she could make a third go at it. However it seemed that that wasn’t going to happen. Viera made her moves on several games on the holonet and then sat back in her chair, remembering her past, wishing she could re live some of those moments.

The compound or village was little to note unless you happened to know that everyone there was at one point part a loyal member of Viera’s retinue. She used her assets to keep them happy and employed, the least she could do for following her to a failed power struggle. Well at least those that survived. Life was full of surprises.

There was not much on the screen when the cloaked shuttle was coming down. They weren't going to land in the middle of a compound and surprise them. No Sala'dine at least owed Kisep more respect then that. As the ship landed though she straightened her uniform while standing there. The weapons on her hip visible and her Veil squadron on her heels. She moved and sent a message to them, announcing that she was arriving soon. Old imperial access codes that would identify her if it mattered but she had been given a new body after the remnant and the other remnant. "I do hope she is in and wanting to receive visitors."

The message came in, activating some encryption that she hadn't seen in a long time. It was an old friend so to speak. Well close enough to be friend compared to others. She stood up and put on her best outfit. It was an old imperial uniform, minus the rank bars and insignia. She totally didn't put it on and get lost in her memories. Viera gave the message to let her in, minus her retinue. Sala'dine would be led to the largest house, Viera's. Then into a sitting room. It was everything you would expect to see in the sitting room of a former Grand Moff. Viera didn't leave her room till she had her uniform perfect and her hair equally so. It had been a while. She took a deep breath and entered only after Sala'dine was seated in the room. Making sure to be followed by a servant with a cart of drinks. "It has been a while, though it seems that time has been kinder to you than to me."

She looked at the ones who came to greet her and without her normal guards was acceptable. They were only a comlink away if needed but she doubted they would be required for anything here. She wore the uniform which had been designed for function but it was also highly protective. A smile came to her face though when she saw Viera Kisep Viera Kisep coming in and she might have aged in her new body but she still looked youthful... just a little more distinguished. "Perhaps kisep but that is only because running into the chiss had a few benefits.. some of the changes in government had them replacing defectors with new bodies so the old ones could be handled to hide them." Her smile remained as she had a drink and awaited Kisep coming to join her. A chance to possibly catch up.

"I do love when recruitment comes with perks, that is how I got this body and am not already in the ground. Anyways it is nice to see someone from the old days. I mostly just hide here since the fall of the Remnant. Never really recovered from that. I am surprised you found me. I have tried to stay away from politics, though, I am a top player in those strategy games on the holonet where you pretend your an admiral or leader of a faction. I mean it keeps the mind busy at least." She sits down across from Sala'dine, drinking a cup of tea. "So, what do I owe the pleasure of your company? I hardly think you would visit just to chat." Viera watches Sala'dine carefully, hoping this isn't some sort of kill mission or something. Her mind spinning and counting options.

She nodded to that. "It is part social and part chance for something. I have need of skilled minds for continuing to develop ships and equipment. Think of it like a private contractor who prepares." There was a small smile on her face though and the idea of having a tactical mind for some of the things they had... there was simulations they could run with the highly advanced thrawn AI but testing their ships in situations wasn't entirely needed. She preferred over engineering the ships to handle far more situations and newer models of stealth capabilities that would be shown. "We have worked on and developed a mobile drydock and station able to relocate with the ships that have been developed. Fighters and carriers."

"What would I be preparing for? I am no engineer." Viera raised her brow and took another sip of her tea. It was a rare blend, something she only used when entertaining guests. If only she had more occasions to pull it out. It was a great asset, to have a mobile drydock and deploy point. That would be great for certain situations. The question is though why would they need her. Surely there is little use in her. Otherwise surely she would be out conquering the galaxy for whoever had the guts to hire her. Still what sort of fleet was this, it beat anything she knew of and with the constant flux of factions she wasn't sure who could be behind such a force. Sala'dine Sala'dine

Sala'dine looked at her and raised an eyebrow. "Anything and anyone. The Ghost fleet is meant to be just that. Overly engineered ships that are designed far superior to other ones people have seen. We have developed and tested one of the fastest fighters in the galaxy designed to intercept interceptors like a-wings. We just need minds to point them where to go." She was looking at her. "It isn't pretty, it isn't a world rolling forth to conquer but it is preparing the way. Perhaps the sith will fall and make way for a new Imperial Remnant and they will have a fleet ready and waiting." There was a look on her face though. "Besides... it would be nice to have a tactical mind who can compliment my wanting to prepare for any situation."

"Well, I mean it would be nice to get back to it. But what is in it for me, I must admit I am rather used to retirement." She said with a smirk as she began negotiations. This was a battle, just like any fleet battle. Viera looked Sala'dine over, curious what terms would be offered. She had been a big deal once, surely that was worth something. To be young again and chasing a cause and moving through the ranks. Oh how she missed it sometimes. But then she remembered that that was than, the galaxy was a much different place than it used to be. Did it still have a place for an old bird like her? She kept her smile as she waited for Sala'dine's offer to formalize. Sala'dine Sala'dine

That gota raised eyebrow... hmm so what could be offered to her for this negotiation.... hmm Sala'dine was thinking about it and they could offer her one or two things. The lack of waging war meant the soldiers with her and officers didn't get nearly as much trainning but they were able to go against grysk or even some of the Tof who appeared in the unknown regions. "Well aside from a relaxed place to work and plan, resources to develop new ships and technologies that will serve to enhance a navy... if needed, if those old bones are hurting. i am certain we can get some of our chiss engineers to fashion a new body for you."

“That would be nice, while I am not quite old yet, a new lease on life is always appreciated. Can I bring some of my own men with me?” She looked over Sala’dine and smirked. “Of course I am sure a competitive wage is include. It sounds like a good enough job for me, though how can you fund such a fleet and not have some sort of faction behind you?” She couldn’t help but ask, it was bugging her. This seemed too good to be true, there had to be someone or something behind this fleet. After all they didn’t grow on trees. If only they did. “I can help train and run a fleet, you know I am good at that. I can help put ships through their paces, war is not kind, so neither should testing. I can run them through mock battles, I am not sure what all one needs to be prepared for.”

She looked at Viera Kisep Viera Kisep and smiled more. "You are not entirely wrong.. we don't have a government in the galaxy behind us. We have a station thatworks as a shipyard with a massive manufacturing capabilities. So we can go to some of the unknown systems that are rich in resouces and have not been claimed yet, get what we need and develop new ships or equipment. The Ghost Fleet was forgotten by the silver jedi and they ignored the work that was done for it. So we go where we are wanted. In this case the unknown regions and who knows what we might find out there. The Farlax sector itself still have thousands of worlds that have not been mapped or explored and a number of dangers that a fleet could sharpen its teeth against. The Tof and the Grysk like to sometimes cause problems as well."

"Well that sounds fun, no master but plenty of toys. Why not carve your own home, make your own domain?" She asks with a raised brow. She didn't doubt that a faction could lose a fleet, she had seen similar situations. Factions are huge if things are noisy enough then things like fleets can just vanish. It was impressive to think that Sala'dine could pull this off and stay neutral.

"Who are the Tof and Grysk?" She asked thinking about a sector so full of opportunity. That sounded like fun. But so did the unknown regions. The galaxy was an interesting place even after all this time. "So if I say yes, what shall we do next?" She looked Sala'dine Sala'dine right in the eyes as she said that last line. It had been so long since she had anyone decent to talk to.

"I have one, the Aralani is enough of a place for me to ahve my own and moving around mostly allows to try and find that perfect place. With ships like the Windsor and shadow we can scout and have an academy as well so new recruits can be trained." She said it and had a look on her face rising up and moving over as she pulled out a small hologram from her palm using the wrist pad and palm sensor. The massive asteroid that looked like a hive for space farring wasps was visible and she spoke. "Massive in scope and designed to blend in with the galaxy. If I found the right place perhaps put down roots but I would need someone I could trust to help me." She said it and... "As to the Tof and the Grysk they are unkown region threats who like to fight one is a massive fleet that goes from world to world so it is hard to find them and the other like to retreat back to their own galaxy between raids."

"Well sign me up, I even have some recruits.. I was wondering what to do with the children of my loyal cadre that live here. Well the ones old enough to leave home that is. You actually help me there, I was afraid I was going to loose my investment. " Viera looked the thing over making some mental notes. It was rather impressive. "Well you have yourself an Admiral and recruits. I think you achieved what you wanted and more out of this visit, and I got something I didn't think I would have again." It was the best of both worlds. Viera was in a good mood, which didn't happen much these days only when she lost herself in a game or something. This was different, maybe it would last this time.

"Perfect." She said it and a chance to well have a tactical mind like Viera Kisep Viera Kisep with her and the ghost fleet. Behind the controls as it were with the right ships and supplies... Well they would be able to do a lot with it and ships like their carriers would likely prove the most fun. All of those star fighters that were designed itno the hanger of the ship itself. Sala'dine was looking at the part where she had also managed to get new recruits. Sala'die was looking at it an she tapped some controls to mostly have the ships come towards them. The massive windsor itself which was less a starship and more a mobile fortress. The phanlanx style stations they had which could set up a shield gate over planets which went a long way towards protecting them. "If you would like we can go and take the tour."

"Yes, I would love a tour." She smiled and prepared to follow. "I am glad we can come to an arrangement. This will be much more fun than the games I usually play. Some excitement again." Viera pondered what to do with her estate. She supposed she would keep it running just without her. After all she needed somewhere to keep her non useful loyal followers. Viera wondered just what she was going to see. She hadn't exactly been given much information. It would be intriguing to see what she would be commanding. It would take a little bit of time to adjust to not having her usual empire based ships. It also meant it would be a new challenge.

Sala'dine looked at Viera Kisep Viera Kisep and she was awaiting her as he kappa class was brought forward to meet them. Where she looked it up and her veil squadron soldiers wre large. They were being designd after all. a sort of augmented super soldier far superior then many of the others in the galaxy itself. From the kappa they would be heading up towards the Jedi's Shadow. The cloaks of the ship and transport being maintained as it head to the larger Aralani hive station that was swarming with the wasp class heavy cruisers.
