Integrated tech from Bowcasters allows shots to ricochet.
Fast Single shot fire or automatic.
Highly Accurate single shot fire.
Can be converted to Blaster Shotgun.
Can be fitted with Under-barrel 40 mm Grenade Launcher that fires Ion, Adhesive, Smoke, or Stun Gas Grenades.

STRENGTHS

Phantom Menace: The blaster functions as a perfectly normal heavy blaster, able to damage armor and shields competently and has a powerful stun mode. Has a high chance of felling even the most physically resilient organic with repeated fire.
Eight Ball, Corner Pocket: Technology narrowed from Bowcasters allow the blaster bolts to ricochet, allowing the shooter to fire around corners.
Room to move: Compact for room to room shooting.
Dead Eye: High accuracy.
Skeet Shooter: A quick swap of barrels converts it into a blaster shotgun.
My Little Friend: Can be fitted with an under barrel grenade launcher that fires non lethal rounds such as Ion, Adhesive, Smoke, or Stun Gas.
Typewriter: Can go fully automatic, even in blaster shotgun mode.

WEAKNESSES

Low Range: Since it's primarily for repelling unwanted guests aboard a vessel, it's range is only 70 meters.
Spray and Pray: Low Accuracy in full auto, which is used for suppressing fire.
Scatter depletion: It depletes ammo much faster as a blaster shotgun.
Scatter overheat: Firing it as a shotgun in full auto causes it to rapidly overheat after 14 seconds, leading to it needing about thirty to cool down.
Droids: Built primarily to take down organics without killing them, it is far less useful against droids unless it's got a launcher with an ion grenade loaded in it.
Small ammo: Small Ammo Count for a Blaster Rifle

DESCRIPTION

This Rifle is the Primary Fire Arm of a Droid Marine Force Stationed on an SSD Sized Hospital Vessel built for the Elysium Empire. No makers marks or serial numbers can be found on it, suggesting it was the product of a massive black operations construction project just like the Starship it's Primarily found on. Highly accurate and Reliable, the Rifle has not only found purchase with The Droid Marines it was built for, but also Elysium Citizens due to its non lethal properties while behaving like a blaster Rifle in every other respect..

Normally, all E-5 Phantom's are produced aboard the R.S.S.H., but the components are simple enough that they could presumably be manufactured elsewhere.

I have had to ponder on this for over a week. After discussion with others along with further study, we do have issues to discuss.

First and foremost, your ratings are not equal and are unbalanced, please check your math.

Second, there is no mention of Phantom Lasers having the ability to pierce through armor nor shields. I know this as I actually read Issue 29 of Rogue Squadron before doing this review to clarify what it is, the exact mention of the weapon where it came from and only source of said phantom lasers. The image on impact shows it hitting only exposed flesh and explanation of the weapon is brief as it is in a training session with holographic enemies when she is shot by an actual humanoid to get her attention. The weapon is also not on point as a pure stun weapon, it is merely just a rather annoying sting for a stun that lasts very briefly and does no damage. Meaning when it hits a limb, it only disables it briefly for a few seconds...not a complete shutdown or knockout like common stun weapons have in the Star Wars Universe. In other words, it is quite useless for anything less than training exercises. Also if asked, the bolt is blueish white, not invisible.

Basically to wrap it up quickly from that blob of paragraphs:

The Phantom Lasers stun effect lasts briefly of a few seconds and is on hit location basis.
Phantom Lasers do not pierce armor nor shields as evidenced in the Comic, meaning it is not possible to do so given such low power.
In case not stated, the bolt is a blueish white, meaning not invisible. Not related but have to say it since the name is kindof deceptive.

With these statements, that pretty much sums up our issues. You cannot have piercing abilities through armor or shields and how damage output is displayed, relates more closer to Very Low to Low. It barely does a thing.

Now a bright spot since this is something I need to relate. The Phantom Laser does act like a regular blaster bolt, just infused with stun energy. It is not out of the realm of possibility to say, make a sniper rifle out of it. All I am saying since I did read up on it and the information is quite intriguing...even if it only lasts for three pages out of twenty-four.

Let me know when you make the edits based on ratings, the armor/shield and of course damage output changes. Sorry this took so long but there was need to study it up and until finding said comic, it was a pain to understand. I await your changes.

I'm perfectly willing to edit but I was wondering if there would not be some alternative in me basing it off this sub:

The key words is a few shots versus one singular shot. At the time, it was more pheasable and believable for the role provided. A few shots for shields, a few shots for armor. That is before however the deep dive...well one comic dive I did to uncover what it is in totality. We do not use prior approvals as a basis for future ones. With the new evidence presented, I cannot approve it in the state it is in but will stand also on the previous ruling as it cannot be changed.

If there are parts in particular you wish to discuss, please note instead of merely showing the approved submission.
