Dystopia: SJO Dominion of the Chandaar Hex

Geopolitical Situation:

Once the verdant throneworld of the now defunct Cronese Mandate, Chandaar has been left a polluted urban hellscape by centuries of rampant strip mining and almost non-existent regulations on corporations. The situation has become so dire that stations of air scrubbers had to be installed to keep the atmosphere breathable. Entire regions of the planet are now deemed unlivable as they are practically radioactive from pollutants.

It is a corporatist state in all but name, Chandaari Kings being puppets under the control under the oligarchs that run the various local mining and manufacturing corporations. Extreme wealth inequality has focused most of the wealth within the top echelons of Chandaari society, leaving the vast majority of the populace destitute.

Large scale protests and rioting have now become commonplace, with some violent opposition groups now active with the objective of toppling the current regime. The most prominent being the Sons of Chandaar, accused of a series of unsuccessful assassination attempts on the current King, Aegon Greaves. While violence is only a small facet of the overall opposition movement, there is a strong push for reforming the government for the future of the planet.

Objectives

Arbiters

At the request of King Aegon, the Tion Cooperative Organization and the InterGalactic Banking Clan have agreed to step in to provide aid packages to keep the government from defaulting, but only under the stipulation that the government makes the necessary reforms for the social and literal health of their world.

The ruling oligarchs oppose this deal as they view it as undercutting their grip over Chandaar, resulting in a great deal of resistance. As result, Jedi have been deployed to act as arbitrators to help determine a compromise. The key issues revolve around empowering the Parliament, adopting a progressive tax code, and raising environmental standards.

Reign of Assassins

As it looks like the oligarchs can no longer control King Aegon, they have hired out elite Assassins to dispose of Aegon so they can replace him with a successor more to their liking.

Several of the assassins hired are actually part of the fledgling New Sith Order, who are exploiting the situation to strike out against the Silver Jedi Order. They hope to eliminate key SJO members to destabilize the organization, while also making their introduction to the galaxy.

Oasis

Centuries of heavy pollution on a global scale has left entire swaths of the population and local fauna sick, suffering from issues like cancers and mutated offspring. As the situation has become critical, the Silver Service Corps and other private entities have deployed to the most polluted areas to provide immediate medical assistance and establish new eco-friendly biomes as sanctuaries.

Objective: Assassination (Swiggity swooty [member="Valae Kitra"])

Three Days Ago

It didn't take Arlen to find a new line of work after resigning from the FOSB. In the private sector, there was no shortage of contracts to make. Targets to eliminate. The tempo of action was just about the same she had experienced with the First Order during wartime conditions, but she enjoyed benefits of acting as she pleased without political oversight.

Her next tasking involved a hit job on Chandaar, toxic dump of a planet now, on the verge of total collapse due to generations of inept leadership. Even now, oligarchs worked against their own self-interests in attempts to foil reforms, slaves to their greed. Not her problem. She was happy to leave the fools to rot on their dying planet so long as she was properly compensated for a good night's work.

Infiltration for the Sith agent with all her gear was easy, employing smuggler tactics, bribery, and Forceful persuasion to get from the spaceport to an assigned safe house. It was large studio situated in one of the several run-down areas of Chandaar, with little police presence. A good staging point for future operations. Inside, the studio had been swept clean of litter, though the walls and ceiling were yellowed and peeling from years of neglect. Through the force, she could feel the interior of the walls crawling with all sorts of insects and vermin. All the rooms reeked like the backside of a bantha. A real dump, but it still didn't compare to operating out in the field with a little more than foliage to keep cover.

Wordlessly, she began setting up her station while she waited for her associates to arrive, mostly unknowns, but who had all been promised by her benefactors to be competent. They better have for their sake. The Sith didn't tolerate dead weight.

Ossus was a big asteroid-based nightmare, and because of it, her whole fleet was needing at least maintenance, and also possibly emergency repairs, relieved by other elements under Admiral King's command. Also the morale is not the best among the crewmembers of the fleet, who felt that the dark side's pettiness is Stuff was due to happen to the hulls especially given the amount of asteroids that buffeted them. But it would do her no good to do so in Ossus' orbit, especially not with something as precious as an Immobilizer 419, much less the I419, with the numbers 420 and 421 already earmarked for other classes of ships. For some reason Jessica was dispatched to Chandaar for mediation purposes even though she wasn't the best-versed in legal dispute resolution or in diplomacy. Perhaps that had to do with Bimmisaari, where she had a hand in reclaiming the planet for the Silver Jedi, and the bloodier part was on nearby Charros IV in their recapture of the sector. From what little information she had on the dossier, corporations are at odds with the population and the King requested the support of the Jedi. Thus she wore her Jedi robes as would be the case in most operations of that nature and, in fact, one of those rare occasions she had to. Upon arrival at the designated venue for these talks, where protesters were many around it:

"State your name and your business" the security guard asked.

On her way down to the secure landing pad, Valae squinted to see out her view port. The conditions on Chandaar were worse than she had expected. The thick smog loomed over the planet, covering every city in a haze. As she understood it, the population here had suffered greatly due to the heavy pollution – health problems would be numerous here.

But Valae was feeling hopeful.

Members of the Silver Circle had been here for some time, working tirelessly to treat the public. One of the largest biomes in the area had been completed, with several smaller ones clustered around it. It was a network of livable space, clean air aplenty. It was their goal to continue establishing these biomes on a much larger scale, but it would take time to implement. This was a good start, but they would need to work quickly.

As her shuttle touched down at the space port, she placed her medical backpack on her shoulders and gathered her other supplies. Masks were essential today, and they would need to be worn while they made their way to the biome.

“Let’s get a move on,” Valae said to those in her party, and then secured the mask over her nose and mouth. With a small nod, she started down the ramp.

Belgerath had not gone on any large scale mission since he had first escaped the Silver prison. Most of his time had been spent on slimeball worlds, doing unsavory work away from prying eyes as he got back into the swing of things. It took a bit of work to get used to doing this kind of job while missing an arm, but that did not make it impossible. With sufficent preplanned strategy and good, on the fly tactics he could still do his job. Luckily for him, unlike some sith he had been trained to be precise and use a deal of finesse. Thanks to just that precisions and finesse, he got a rather 'larger' contract then he normally had been seeing.

The planet of Chandaar was upon arrival, about as much of a cesspit as where Belgerath had been before. Neither were places he would go without a airscrubber and he used that fact to wear a full face covering mask. Given the potential for the chemicals in the air to effect eyesight, his appearance was not exactly a strange one was he walked through the streets. He had passed through the security systems with minimal difficulty, opting to pick up a dead drop planetside rather than take in his own gear since he chose to come planetside through civilian transport systems. Winding his way through the cities trash filled streets he made a point of avoiding patrols which cut into his time.

Belgerath would arrive just thirty seconds late of the meeting time, carrying a beaten up and dirty suitcase that looked like the peice of junk it was. He had suspected he would be late regardless so he took liberty to take the 'long way' back to get an idea for the area, as well as check for anyone shadowing him. Thankfully at this point no locals had seemed to have caught on. Before entering he would knock in a sequence and spoke a word combination before entering the prep site.

Walking boldly on in after closing the door to the rundown studio Belgerath made his way in, the one armed man setting the suitcase down ontop of a table and clipping it open. A well balanced vibro-blade, a datachip with information on the area that could be used for planning and a DX-2 Disruptor Pistol. The only other contents was a communication jammer which would doubtlessly come in handy when the time came to bail out. The dead drop was however missing some things he wanted, specifically some chaff or smoke grenades but it didn't seem he ever got everything he wanted, so he didn't bother mentioning it. Holstering the disruptor in his clothes he turned to face his partners.

"Got a datachit of the local area to reveiw if everyone is here" Belgerath said, heading a holoprojector in the room. He didn't know exactly how many people were supposed to be here, but he was fairly sure any who were going to be showing up would have made their apperance by now. Just in case however he waited on confirmation from his other partner, looking over to the woman.

Objective: Oasis
Location: Biome Alpha

Decaying cities more reminiscent of oversized graveyards than vibrant hives of culture littered the diseased surface of Chandaar. Sickness plagued its inhabitants – and while not powerful enough to make it magically go away, the Silver Jedi have decided to lay groundwork to build upon in the future, first steps in something that just might heal the planet one day. Establishing biomes meant giving safe havens to the population and protecting the people – the most sacred of Jedi’s duties, also the very first thing that had to be done. A refreshing change of pace; not only for Kaiza, but many other Jedi as well. After bravely facing one aggressor after another, it was good to return to something as basic as simply helping people and healing their ailments. For that very reason, the Mirialan Padawan had opted to accompany Grandmaster Kitra.

Both peacekeeper and protector, the young Jedi donned her battle armour as she paced behind the new Grandmaster. Its shining plates of phrik proudly declared her a defender of the weak, giving hope to those who felt vulnerable and desperate. A majestic sight to behold for certain, though Kaiza’s reason for sporting the masterfully crafted suit of armour was a pragmatic one; its enviro filters presented the greatest weapon against pollution, shielding the young Padawan from any and all harmful effects stemming from the poisonous atmosphere. On her hip, as always, a lightsaber and one standard medpac with Kaiza’s trusty field canteen in between. On her back, a large backpack filled with medical supplies. As a Jedi, she needed no more. Finally, a mission of peace, with no battles and ever-present death. Kaiza could get used to this relaxed pace, even though she understood many hard trials awaited them in the future.

Not now, though. Anchored in the present, the teenage student radiated optimism. No longer lost in depression and night terrors that come with great suffering and wars, the yellow-skinned Padawan enjoyed living again, grateful for this chance to continue doing good in the galaxy. Her shielded gaze shifted over to the biome, unable to avoid comparison between its miraculous blessing and its less-than-healthy surroundings.

“Isn’t it wonderful to see how compassion and hard work improve lives, Mast…Grandmaster?”

Tattooed cheeks turned red and Kaiza was infinitely grateful for wearing a helmet as her expression turned into uncontrollable grin. And off they went, traversing through diseased air and more than enough health hazards that acted as obstacles on their way to the sanctuary of fresh air and medicine.

Leah had arrived alongside Valae, descending from the ship having already donned a mask. Her usual clothing consisted of dresses and heavy coats, however she had traded this out for rugged military boots, thick reinforced layers of insulated clothing. Leah looked immensely covered and wrapped up, but was not going to take any chances. Places like these were not the friendliest, the terrain and visibility was accentuating the probability of danger beyond what it already was. She did not have the upper body strength to carry lots of supplies, but she had brought several people to play "Pack mule" so to speak, loading the backpacks up with equal amounts of sustainable sustenance and water.

Closing her eyes for a moment, Leah composed herself and began to walk, her boots making a heavy impact on the littered floor as she struggled to see what was ahead of her. In order to avoid most environmental trouble, the woman ensured that she was walking directly behind Valae, trusting the other woman wasn't going to walk Leah into a face full of dirt, or neglect to mention any hazards she locates while moving ahead. With her entourage not far behind, she fixed her eyes on the dome and sighed. Could she hold it together when she got there?

The Darkness Whispers...
Objective: Assist in the Assassination. Personally making a statement to his presence.
Allies: New Sith Order ( [member="Arlen Rossi"], [member="Belgerath"] )
Location: A run-down studio on Chandaar

Three Days Ago...

The planet of Chandaar oozed with a feeling of sorrow and contempt. It had truly been suffering for many moons at this point. A rather unfortunate sight, but it would have to just suffer a little more. There was a statement to be made in the coming days...

A mysterious young man clad in purple robes akin to that of a Jedi or Sith and a regal looking cape with a hood pulled over his head wandered down the streets of one of the run-down areas of the planet. He had also been wearing a mask covering his face with an air filter due to the poisonous air that would otherwise choke and blind him most likely. He was a bit of a frail looking one so he had to be cautious... It did belie the dark power inside of him, though. The way he was dressed was a bit unusual, but nothing that really sparked any questions as he had already reached an area with low resistance. He was a special sort of Force User and had been able to avoid any trouble with some mere waves of his hand and soft spoken words.

He was an unknown on this planet. He would soon be known, however, and likely feared. A mere side effect of making sure nobody would get in his way. He was indeed a Force user, but he was not a Jedi, but a Knight of the Dark Side. A Sith some would call him. He was indeed an early member of what was now called the New Sith Order and he had a task at hand. Some newcomers to the group were sent on an assassination mission to deal with the Grandmaster and other possible key members of the Silver Jedi Order that were on Chandaar for peaceful purposes. They were to be compensated and he had no doubts about their skills, but he was requested to assist them anyways.

The man was not fully on board with straight up killing these Silver Jedi members. He had been observing what was going on in the Galaxy and he had seen that these Jedi were dealing with some other groups he was wary of... Imperials. First Order. The like. Their Force users he noticed were usually mere puppets of the whim of the Dark Side and likely too far gone to learn what he knew. While he had his struggles controlling the Dark Side sometimes, he at least made an attempt he felt... This organization would be different, however... At least he thought. They welcomed him, were willing to hear him out, and some had assisted him in the past.

Despite some hesitation related to the actual task, he had rationalized that he was merely making a statement. He would not need to actually succeed, but merely instill fear. He will not act lightly against them, however, for that was not how he performed. The act would not keep these Jedi away most likely, but it would make them not take him or his allies lightly when they inevitably would clash. They would not understand even if he tried to explain what he was doing with the Dark Side.

He soon arrived at the decrepit studio that the organization had acquired as a sort of safe house for the mission at hand. He glanced around. It was worn out almost beyond repair, but in a safe area for planning the task at hand. He stepped inside the studio and it looked worse on the inside than the outside... At least the floors were clean. He closed the door behind him and made his way forward, spotting two figures ahead of him. These likely were his associates for the mission. The air around him gave off an imposing presence... It helped that his gentle looking face was covered up by a mask and his bright hair by the hood of his cape.

He stopped in his tracks, watching the woman and the heavily robed man making their own preparations in silence. They certainly came prepared it looked like. He noticed that the robed man was actually missing an arm as well and he ended up being the one to break the silence in the room to mention that he had some data that they could review. "Ah, excellent." The young man spoke at last after Belgerath, his voice actually rather soft sounding and likely alerting the two to his presence.

He figured that greetings would be underway, but perhaps he would wait to see how they would react first...

Sukai had come along with the group, partially as a counter measure to any trouble that may arise from the higher ups not happy with Jedi intervention, this being due to her more then dark past of being trained by both Sith and Dark Jedi. The young woman like the rest, donned a face mask to filter out and toxins and other harmful gasses present on the derelict and slowly crumbling.

Personally the Sukai did not know any of the Jedi present, only that one was the grand master, the other was another master and the Mirallian was a padawan, a somewhat over enthusiastic one at that. There was nothing against such emotion, but this was a potentially serious project up ahead, and knowing full well that the current ruling government was not the most liked by the lesser big wigs.

Her current attire was her jet black suit, custom made, for both comfortably and combat, along with the lend leased boots and normal array of weaponry Sukai usually carried. This ranged from her 3 lights-sabers, blaster and other minor items here and there. The not so Jedi like member stood apart from the group, prematurely surveying the city, it might have been a little overly careful but past experience had taught Sukai to expect the worst from any situation.

Valae stuffed her hands into the sleeves of her brown robe as she walked, and turned to the side to see Padawan Pawaro was there. She smiled, but it was mostly unseen beneath her mask. The young woman was clad in battle armor, an impressive sight. Though she did not know Kaiza all that well, she was aware that the Mirialan was making a good name for herself among the Silver Jedi.

“It is quite wonderful, isn’t it?” She replied with a nod.

The Jedi healer was aware that Countess Winsclav was in tow, as was a small entourage that had been laden with supplies. Valae flashed a friendly glance over her shoulder at the delicate noblewoman.

“Thank you very much for accompanying us today, Countess.” Valae said, voice slightly muffled by her mask.

Her awareness shifted to an unfamiliar apprentice, wearing a black suit and mask. It was not a presence that Valae could place, but she appreciated the company nonetheless. She had to admit that it felt odd to be walking about with members of the Silver Jedi that were most certainly prepared for battle. The mission today was quite simple; she did not expect that there would be any issues. But she also realized that kind of thinking would likely get her into trouble.

If recent events had taught her anything…it would be to expect the worst.

As the group neared the Biome, vivid colors were brought into view. The environment that awaited them inside existed in stark contrast to the rest of Chandaar. A team of scientists stood ready to greet them inside. With a nod to the others, Valae made her way in and offered a respectful bow to their hosts.

Black smog entered the cargo bay as the latch of the cargo ship Sorik hitched a ride on opened to a new and mysterious landscape. Sorik peered outside into the noxious atmosphere. "I thought this place wouldn't be this bad." he thought to himself as his eyes teared up. Sorik then walked on through the dock of this new planet. Sorik made his way to the streets of Chandaar to explore and trade items from across the galaxy. As he made his way to what looked like the closest market, he spottet people that he knew were there for either something good or bad, but he usually feels things like this.

Sorik made his way through a smelly Bazaar that reeked of rotten womp rat until he found someone that looked like they could help him. He asked a grizzly but trustworthy looking human if there were any good traders around here. The man replied "Good luck finding anything good to trade with anyone. "I ain't seen anything good here in a couple of years." Sorik replied "Thank you, sir.", and walked away cursing under his breath. Sorik made his way back to the ship, hoping that he would get there before the ship left. He didn't. He got really upset and trashed a public bench. He does things like this a lot, which makes him resent himself occasionally.

Sorik wandered around the streets and thought to himself about how hard it would be to get a ride off of this place. He also though about the dangers of this new planet, the cost of living, and about how he would entertain himself. He eventually gave up and decided to wander the streets. Just as he started to adapt to his surroundings and become slightly comfortable, he felt many minds touch his. He then blacked out.

Sorik woke up the next day naked in an alley. He looked in the nearest trash can and luckily, found all of his equipment nearly fully unharmed, though it looked like his blaster was used avidly the night before. "Zark, I really need to figure out a way to avoid things like this." Sorik thought to himself. Sorik walked out into the busy streets and noticed some people dressed much more elegantly than the commoners dressed in rags or other rough garb.

As her yacht broke through the haze and smog blanketing the entirety of Chandaar, she was both repulsed and amazed by the decrepit state of the whole area of the planet within her view. The cities of Chandaar were quite literally falling apart due to the neglect of squabbling oligarchs. Within in the sea of urban blight were a few bright spots of opulence, the rich walling themselves off within their glittering compounds.

Everything before her was the end result of predatory capitalism left unchecked. Without outside intervention, the whole planet was doomed to fall soon, which was why Rozalyne was here today. As Deputy Director of the SSC, she was involved in quite a bit of diplomatic affairs, working hand and hand with the Tion Cooperative Organization to help advance the cause of that trade bloc to stabilize economic conditions within the Outer Rim.

She landed near the government where the arbitration sessions were to take place, having to work hard to stifle a gag as she stepped down the landing ramp. Every step she took, the royal felt like there was an ever-growing film of grime and pure stink building up against her skin and clothes.

Walking with a dour expression on her face, she found General Med-Beq at the gate seeking entry.

"General," she greeted with a small nod of respect. "It's a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance."

She only knew of Med-Beq by reputation, never having crossed paths with her until now, but she was told that the woman seemed to have a good head upon her as it regarded diplomacy. On the whole, all of the SJO seemed to favor diplomacy over violence, which is what had originally attracted her to working with the SJO over other organizations.

Leah would incline her head towards Valae, before then schooling her expression straight ahead once more. The group had neared the Biome much faster than Leah had anticipated, but she was not about to take this for granted, the acrid smoke and ash ground of the outside was beginning to play mind tricks on the Countess. She may be here long after all the initial causes of strife, but the area seemed to ignite visions she knew she had never witnessed.

It was with these thoughts on her mind that Leah found herself in front of their guests, the various brave individuals who had committed time to protect and develop this Biome. However, the Countess did not perform a bow, she was likely to collapse if she did so. Instead Leah settled for a curtsy, allowing her head to incline forwards slightly too. It would have been too rude to refuse them any kind of greeting after all. With the air of pomp and proper etiquette over, Leah was right back into her business mode. Where did these supplies need to go, who was in charge?

"Forgive me for the abruptness of this, but may I ask where I need to move these supplies, they are rather heavy and medical attention is paramount." The part about wanting to vacate this awful air was not included in the Noble's query, but it was easy and plain to see, she was uncomfortable. Each and every breath had her body quake and twitch. She was already under the influence, her medication able to calm her down enough to maintain some composure. However, all walls crumble.

It's just a matter of time.

Eri'anya stopped momentarily to double check the seal of her breath mask, running a finger along the flexible hoses linking it to the pack strapped to her chest. The Jedi knight had never been one to lean to much on her equipment, and her reliance on such a simple bit of technology to maintain her health was more than a little unsettling. When combined with the over sized pack of medical supplies she was carrying on her tiny frame, the woman was left feeling sluggish and vulnerable.

It was all very uncomfortable to her, but she felt as if she had no call to complain. The work they were doing for Chandaar was important, and Eri'anya was no stranger to what happened when innocent people could not get the help they needed fending off sickness and poison. It was a situation she had dealt with the first time she had served beside the new Grandmaster, aiding refugees on Bimmisaari in the wake of imperial aggression.

She had just been "Master Kitra" at the time, and she had served as a both a voice of reason and a measured, easy presence during the worst parts of the horrible ordeal. It was also her timely intervention that helped Eri'anya resolve the issue of an untimely terrorist attack, an attack that the Knight had made worse through her rushed meddling. It was nothing so simple as owing the senior Jedi a favor, however. In a way, the Grandmaster had saved her from her own folly, and Eri'anya would be grateful for a very long time.

That was why she was here, carrying far too many supplies on her back as she followed behind the small sortie of allies. Some of them were more familiar than others, but they were all here for the same reason. Chandaar needed to be saved, and it was the call of Jedi like her to help however she could for as long as she could.

"Your Highness, now is the time to mediate a deal"

The success of the whole plan will require hefty funding: subsidies for green programs, and also proper resources for enforcement of the environmental standards, which can only be achieved through In the future, if the situation is left unchecked, an economic crisis will ensue, she thought, while being reminded of the fates of planets whose pollution got the better of them, such as Vulpter, to name one planet she actually went to which fit the bill. The two women were led into a conference room where the local officials, both from the populace at large and the oligarchs, were to meet. She knew several safeguards will be necessary: accountability police, environmental agency, both of which are going to require funding. And hence taxation is key for getting the key stuff done, knowing that these safeguards weren't free - few Jedi actually understood the intricacies of internal policy, and Jedi were mostly used to mediate external policy disputes. And be hard on corruption and graft once the economic police is in place.

"Greetings, ladies and gentlebeings. I'm Jessica Med-Beq, one of the Silver Jedi mediators. I believe the fiscal structure is to be tackled first, since I believe the ability to carry out the remaining reforms depends on it. For corporations, what worked elsewhere is six brackets, based on their net income. On the individuals side, some breathing room for the lower echelons will be well-appreciated, so that they can be active economic contributors, which in turn can allow for the continued economic viability, especially since the lower classes tend to save little money"

Upon hearing another group member’s title, Kaiza’s curiosity was positively piqued. A countess. Those rarely joined Jedi, or so the former farmgirl thought. Imagining nobility to embrace Jedi ideals gave her a headache, unable to imagine why anyone living the comfortable life of a riches and power would ever step down to help the ordinary people. Mentally shrugging at the matter, as it wasn’t her place to judge, the Padawan glanced over the group, noticing an all too common sight these dark days. Almost everyone appeared fairly combat ready – then again, so did Kaiza. Hard to avoid when another large-scale assault threatened to drop out of nowhere at any time. Foregoing the traditional Jedi look was a regrettable casualty of war, yet when galactic superpowers threatened to wipe out entire civilizations, it was a practical necessity to embrace for the conflict’s duration.

“This way. It is not far.” She replied to the noble’s inquiry and followed after the new Grandmaster, hoping she had not just offended the blonde – truly, the peasant-turned-Jedi had zero idea how to treat someone like her.

Wearing heavy armour and carrying a bag full of supplies soon took their toll on the young student’s stamina. Grateful for all the years of hard work, she paced through the sickened world. In a way, it reminded Kaiza of Taris, which she had visited some time ago and almost lost her life in there. She wished the man who had attacked her could see the Silver Jedi now – helping those stricken and plagued by harmful poisons in the air, even if the path lied shattered and signified the journey to healing the planet would be long and challenging. Not as long as getting to the biome though. Almost out of place, like an entirely different planet, the more naturally looking environment appeared in sight and it did not take long for the party to enter. They were expected, as indicated by several figures that patiently waited inside, accompanied by men who instantly rushed to relieve the Jedi of their burden.

“Hail and well-met, friends!” Kaiza greeted the welcoming party, hand raised in a friendly gesture, voice cheerful. With a hiss, the plate covering her face slid away, showing the Mirialan’s features as she breathed clean air and let her face bathe in light. So much better than being enclosed in armour!

A hand would fall on the shoulder of Grandmaster Kitra from behind. Nothing too hard handed, it was gentle enough to indicate that the hand was friendly.

A member of the Silver Assembly would smile back at Kitra when she would turn to face him. "Boop" He would greet gingerly, before removing his hand from her. "Apologies for being late, Grandmaster. I decided to do a bit of scouting before we arrived.... That, and wanted to do a bit of sightseeing" He would remark, grinning cheekily. Not that there was much sightseeing to be done, so it would be easy to tell that he was joking. He was scouting, of course, using the Current to hide his presence while he looked around.

He looked around to see the rest of her entorage, and nodded his head. Seems she was in good hands... But he felt as though something was, how could he place it?

Wrong...

Sukai followed the rest of the group down, though the hazy atmosphere, hand constantly on her saber staff just in-case. Despite not knowing anyone personally she recognized Forr, the purple hair of the woman reminding her of the event on Na Shadda. Not the most pleasant way to meet but at least she was familiar with her.

She walked up to the Jedi, giving her a rather blank look, "I don't know If your remember me but we met on Na Shadda once, I never got your name, I'm Sukai'ito Yumi, though most people using basic just say Sky'ito, do you need help carrying those"? Other members came and introduced themselves, mostly masters and the politicians, nothing really of interest to the young apprentice, though on person striked her as rather odd.

[member="Josh DragonsFlame"], the man was strange, his personality being free going and chirpy, early similar to her overly flamboyant brother, how could the SJO be so carefree with the war going raging on their borders, even so on such a planet as this. 'This group never ceases to confuse me'.

The force is a powerful thing... A weapon that toys with us every day. The tides of darkness rise all across the galaxy and with them, empires of madness and insanity led by heretics. Galactic Empire, Sith Empire... Lies, falsities, heretics with delusions of grandeur. There is only one kind of sith... The one and only order, the one and only creed.

A sith is warrior, not senseless killer, a sith masters his own power, it is not mastered by it, a sith achieves freedom through the force... The heretics have become slaves through it. Since ancient times, the jedi have been the enemy, the sith's most hated rival, now like then, the true sith have risen to fight them once again... Only now the ancient enemy fights the new one. The jedi fight against the unending waves of self-proclaimed sith, against those who dare claim the titles they do not deserve.

But The jedi have become weak... They have forgotten what it means to face a true sith, they have forgotten how it feels when darkness claws at your very soul, when despair crawls on you with the endless screams of the fallen. They have forgotten what it means to face death.

"I will remind them."

The heretics have great empires under their control, vast armies under their command. The sith must be rebuilt and for that, the ones taking their rightful place must be vanquished, the jedi must be prepared to face their foes and level the fight in the galaxy. Their leaders will learn to overcome their weaknesses today... Or they will make way for those that can.

Opening his eyes, Jaedan rose from the ground breathing in his mask, the air here was one of many reasons it was good to always wear a mask. He needed to wait... And waited he had for too long. His allies must have arrived already. The man made his way towards the meeting place slowly so as to not alert anything or anyone, but when he could see the others, he set caution aside and approached them, his voice altered by the mask for the sole purpose of practicality... Why should any stranger know who he is?

"Are we ready?"

Valae had turned slightly and nodded to Leah, acknowledging that Padawan Pawaro was correct. Indeed, it was different to have a noble among their numbers today. But the Jedi healer understood that the Countess did have an interest in helping people. They always could use an extra pair of hands in situations like these. She also made a note that perhaps she should send along a fine tea from Voss as a thank you gift. It certainly wouldn’t hurt to form more bonds and keep them strong.

She also noted the petite form of Knight Forr with them. The young woman was a familiar face from Bimmisaari. In fact, she would likely always stand out to Valae for the bravery and courage she had displayed there. Though the situation had been a bit unnerving, the Knight had demonstrated that she was willing to do her part to protect others. Valae would offer her a polite nod as they approached the entrance of the biome.

And then, she glimpsed another presence.

This was one that was steadily becoming familiar. As a hand clapped her on the shoulder, she turned with a look of surprise to see Josh DragonsFlame. His greeting of “boop,” made her nose wrinkle, and she chuckled at his words. She was getting used to his sense of humor.

“Not a problem, Master DragonsFlame. Good to see you here today.” She said, smiling.

As a member of their group approached Josh to converse, Valae moved further inside the biome. Here there were structures and living spaces, as well as a vast open space. It was surreal. The members of the research team came forward to help collect the medical supplies brought in. The Silver Jedi members were free to move about at will, to explore, and to offer up any suggestions that came to mind.
