Status
Not open for further replies.
Manufacturer: Dynamis "Dynas" Ultra
Type: Mechanical
Market Status: Closed Market
Production: Limited
Weight: Average
Size: Average
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Baryonic Decay Core: A stabilized reaction system that leverages the byproducts of baryonic particle decay to generate energy at an incredibly efficient rate.
  • Semi-Perpetual Output: Designed to function indefinitely under optimal conditions, requiring only minor recalibrations instead of refueling or full shutdowns.
  • Stabilization Matrix: Fine-tunes power modulation for the system leveraging it, allowing greater control and efficiency of power use, preventing waste and shortages.
  • High-Output Energy Stream: Capable of continuously feeding energy-intensive systems such as advanced droid bodies, plasma weapons, shields, or starfighter systems.
  • Force-Sympathetic Resonance: While not explicitly Force-powered, the containment matrix harmonizes well with systems or chassis operated by Force users (especially inorganic ones like Shards).
STRENGTHS
  • Vast Power Supply: Produces energy on a near-perpetual basis without requiring traditional refueling, vastly extending operational uptime.
  • Stable & Self-Regulating: Engineered with internal regulatory systems to avoid runaway reactions or catastrophic failure.
  • Perfect for High-Demand Systems: Excels in use cases where energy draw is continuous and heavy, such as in heavily armored droid bodies, starships, or large mobile weapon platforms.
WEAKNESSES
  • Highly Complex: Requires expert maintenance to fully repair or recalibrate it. Hard to repair conventionally without a dedicated work station.
  • Incompatible with Civilian Systems: Cannot be simply retrofitted into standard vehicles or consumer-grade technology without extensive modification.
  • Requires Purpose-Built Integration: The Star Furnace is incompatible with machines not specifically engineered to accommodate its advanced power regulation and calibration systems. Attempting to install it into an unprepared chassis can result in total system failure or destabilization of both the core and the host
  • Soft Output Ceiling: The Star Furnace has a soft maximum output threshold. While it can temporarily exceed this limit under extreme demand, doing so places immense strain on the core's internal systems. Prolonged or repeated overexertion risks destabilization, degradation, and eventual total failure of the unit.

DESCRIPTION
The DYR-01 Star Furnace is a power source concieved by the Shard Jedi Master Dynas Ultra as a power source for his wardrobe of droid chassis. At its heart lies a stabilized baryonic decay reaction chamber—an exotic energy system that generates immense, sustained power by harvesting the byproducts of subatomic particle decay. Housed within reinforced a complex conduit, the Star Furnace delivers a constant power stream capable of supporting the most demanding systems across decades of operation.

Its design philosophy hinges on endurance, precision and reliability.

Its complex power harmonics are fundamentally incompatible with standard or mass-market machinery. Only systems that have been painstakingly designed around the core's calibration protocols can handle its energy stream. Trying to force its integration into unprepared systems has led to severe power imbalances, control failures, and even self-destruction in test cases.
