OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To submit a submerged location on the planet Dathomir
  • Canon: N/A

SETTING INFORMATION

  • Nexus Name: Dwelling in the Deep
  • Nexus Alignment: Other: Alternates and can falsify itself
  • Location: Dathomir
  • Affiliation: They Who Dwell
  • Size: Small - undersea cave
  • Strength: Strong
  • Accessibility: The cave is below the reef where the Blue Corals grow. without dive equipment or being a member of an aquatic race, its very difficult to access.
  • Description: There is a cave under the reefs of Dathomir, where the Blue Corals grow. Shark-type, and crab-type species fail to enter this cave. When one does enter, depending on their own lean, and needs in life, the cave either provides a dark aura or a light aura. Within the cave, there is the blue glow from the corals.
NEXUS EFFECTS
The nexus provides, based on the seeker, either a cold and dark aura, or a light and warm aura, depending on the seeker's goal when hunting for the nexus. Very little is known of what occurs inside the nexus. Somewhere along the path, though, the seeker usually loses their memory of the nexus. Any lesson they learned becomes ingrained in their subconscious.

POINTS OF INTEREST
The cave does seem to attract a few cephalopod species that don't tend to frequent the particular reef.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Historically, the dwelling in the deep has only appeared in the legends and myths of a few Dathomiri clans, including the Scissorfists and the Blue Coral Divers. The former finds a dark aura and the latter finds a more glowing, warm aura. The written records appear to describe the same minor nexus. Those who enter the nexus tend to come away with some subconscious agenda, a mission to find and explore, but where that ends, always depends on the seeker of the nexus.

This part of the nexus effect seems to be worded in a way that’s absolute.

Somewhere along the path, though, the seeker loses their memory of the nexus. Any lesson they learned becomes ingrained in their subconscious.

We want to try and avoid that and have the effect. I think amending to “the seeker usually loses their memory of the nexus...” will help accomplish that.

Thanks.
