STRENGTHS
  • Amphibious: Unlike the vast majority of Mahporeem designed ships, the DS-47 TIE Fighter is fully amphibious, capable of moving and operating under water.
  • Scrambled eggs: For a ship of its size, the DS-47 TIE Fighter possesses an extensive electronic warfare suite, allowing it to jam and scramble enemy sensor systems.
  • Powerful: The DS-47's varied armament of laser cannons, plasma cannons and ordinance launchers allows the vessel to engage a variety of different threats.
  • Durable: The DS-47 is quite heavily armored for a ship of its size, allowing it to absorb a significant amount of damage before being destroyed.
  • Hyperdrive: To facilitate long range transport, the DS-47 comes equipped with a class 1.0 hyperdrive.
WEAKNESSES
  • Slow: Compared to other similarly sized starships, the DS-47 is rather slow moving due to its heavy armor and extensive electronic warfare systems.
  • Unmaneuverable: By the same token, the DS-47 is also rather unmaneuverable, unable to keep up with more agile starfighters.
  • Limited ordinance: The DS-47 is only capable of utilizing "Bug-Spray" Secondary Missiles as ordinance, due to the specialized nature of the missile launchers.
  • Maintenance heavy: Like many custom designed and built starfighters, the DS-47 requires considerable maintenance to keep in top operating condition.
  • Loud and proud: While the electronic warfare systems on the DS-47 can mask its presence, the ship itself is still incredibly loud and noticeable.
DESCRIPTION

Even prior to its ascension into the Imperial Confederation, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, or more specifically the planet Mahporeem, had been known to have historical ties to the planet Dornea. After all, many Dorneans called Mahporeem home during the ancient Imperial era, and were chief among the alien prisoners tasked with fighting off the original Galactic Empire during the events of the first OPERATION: CINDER.

Now, with Mahporeem's return from its self imposed galactic exile, the Imperial Remnant has sought to reestablish ties with Dornea, hoping to create a mutually beneficial relationship between the two planets. As such, the Imperial Remnant, in conjunction with the N&Z Umbrella Corporation, has begun developing starfighters capable of integrating Dornean, N&Z Umbrella Corporation and Mahporeenian technology onto a single platform.

The DS-47 TIE Fighter is the first such step in creating such a starfighter platform. Combining the best elements of Imperial Remnant engineering with the products produced by the N&Z Umbrella Corporation and Dornea, the DS-47 is a powerful heavy fighter, capable of engaging a variety of different targets while keeping itself functional for extended periods of time.

The very first example of this ship was given to one Bido Roz’lyn Bido Roz’lyn , so that they could serve as a test pilot for all the weapons and subsystems installed aboard the ship. It is hoped that the Imperial Remnant can eventually integrate such technology onto all their and the N&Z Umbrella Corporation's ships, creating a new market for Dornean made products and ideas.

STRENGTHS
  • Flight simulator: The use of Z-95 Headhunter components in the construction of the Queen Vhyrn's Revenge makes the ship incredibly easy to fly, even for rather inexperienced pilots
  • Firepower: The Queen Vhyrn's Revenge is relatively heavily armed for a ship of its size, sporting four laser cannons, a pair of ion cannons and a rear mounted mine laying system
  • Sneaky: The extensive use of Reflec Coating and Photo-Reactive Coating makes the Queen Vhyrn's Revenge incredibly difficult to detect visually and on scanners
  • Astromech socket: The Queen Vhyrn's Revenge comes equipped with a frontally mounted Astromech Socket
WEAKNESSES
  • Ugly: Though it is said that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", the Queen Vhyrn's Revenge is an objectively ugly looking ship
  • Fragile: The Queen Vhyrn's Revenge is a rather fragile ship, being only lightly armored. This forces the ship to rely on its speed and electronic countermeasures to survive combat
  • Loud: Though the Queen Vhyrn's Revenge is difficult to detect visually, it is still incredibly loud, with no way of quieting the sound of it flying
  • Astromech Socket: The placement of the Queen Vhyrn's Revenge's Astromech Socket places the droid in grave danger of being destroyed
DESCRIPTION

With the recruitment of Hypheer Vhyrn Hypheer Vhyrn into the ranks of the Imperial Confederation, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant was faced with the unique of challenge of designing a starfighter for the pirate turned Imperial Pilot. To best capitalize on her strengths, the Imperial Remnant decided to modify a pre existing starfighter design rather than build one from scratch, selecting the Z-'Ceptor as the base for the Queen Vhyrn's Revenge.

Being partially based off of a Z-95 Headhunter means that the Queen Vhyrn's Revenge is exceptionally easy to fly, even for inexperienced pilots, and ensures that Hypheer Vhyrn Hypheer Vhyrn is familiar with the flight controls of her ship without needing to undergo any sort of specialized training. The Queen Vhyrn's Revenge is relatively heavily armed as well, sporting four laser cannons, two ion cannons and a rear mounted mine laying system.

The most impressive aspect of the Queen Vhyrn's Revenge is, however, the ship's extensive use of Stealth Coatings, such as Reflec Coating and Photo-Reactive Coating. This makes the Queen Vhyrn's Revenge incredibly difficult to detect visually, though it does nothing to reduce the noise produced by the vehicle. This makes the Queen Vhyrn's Revenge especially well suited to conducting ambushes and raids, a style of fighting that would be familiar to someone like Hypheer Vhyrn Hypheer Vhyrn .

The Imperial Remnant hopes that the Queen Vhyrn's Revenge will allow Hypheer Vhyrn Hypheer Vhyrn to serve the Imperial Confederation to the best of her ability, cementing her transition from pirate and criminal to distinguished Imperial Pilot.
