The trail from Ryloth did not fade, it sharpened.
Whispers carried from the scorched streets of Lessu, where blasterfire, flattended blocks and old memories bled together, and followed the Iron Covenant as they slipped back into the lanes between stars.
Now the Covenant's escort fleet hangs over Dressel, tanks open, reactors humming low. A pause. A breath. The Mandalorians need it after the escape from Ryloth, and they use it planetside.

In the shadowed routes behind them, the Jedi Underground Network closed the distance, ready and burdened by a history neither side ever truly buried. Mandalorians remember beskar scorched by sabers. Jedi remember wars fought in fire.
