Purchased from Concord Specialized Technologies by House Io, the PF-1 Mynock Parasite Fighter was a cheap, albeit limited addition to the faction’s fleet, intended to be flown by new pilots, replacing those who were lost during the Battle of Tython. One of these new fighters was issued to Estrella Io not long after her initial activation. Seeking to get the most out of the craft, Estrella requested a couple of modifications to her new fighter, one being the removal of various safeties which limited the maneuverability of Mynock in order to protect unaugmented organic pilots from g-forces beyond the capabilities of what the inertial compensators were rated for. As an HRD optimized for piloting, it went without saying that Estrella had no need for these systems, as she could handle the g-forces just fine on her own. The other upgrade was the addition of an overcharge capacitor, significantly increasing the craft’s firepower without raising its weapon count and giving it the capability to deal severe damage to capital ships. However, this modification came at the cost of more intensive maintenance due to the increased stress on the barrels, which Estrella agreed to assist with when necessary. Nevertheless, the Estrella’s modified fighter is an obvious upgrade over what it was before. However, it is also representative of Estrella’s tendency to exhaust every resource available in pursuit of her goals, even if it demands more effort or expense from her.
