Dream a little Dream of me

Melanctha prepared for the visit of the Alderaan Princess Faith. She stood patiently with her own house guards waiting for the ship to finish what ever it was doing and release its passengers.

So Faith needed a favor, well Mel needed one of her own and this would be the perfect opportunity for her to ask for it. Now she did realize that she needed to hear what was being asked. what could a Princess with a world full of Sith tech have to offer?

Mel smiled when she finally saw them walking towards her. She did not smile now she moved toward the Princess giving her a low curtsy as befitted her station, "Welcome to my home, I have had some finger foods prepared, and cold drinks please..come in'

Faith nodded to Melanctha, "Duch'a thank you for allowing us to come. I hope it is not too much trouble" Trouble it couldn't be trouble, this was negotiations.

Faith walked along side of the Duch'a as the Captain fell in beside the guards, "How have you been?" They would do the small talk pleasantries as was required of them.

Still standing to Faith's right and slightly behind the only real thing he could do is remain silent. So far, from his perspective things were going well.

Mel took no notice of the Captan however she took notice that there seemed to be only the two of them for no guards exited the ship to stand guard.

"It is no problem to welcome you here. I had hoped you would come one day but these circumstances are a trifle odd." They walked onto the back deck and headed into the house, once inside all disappeared except the Captain and Faith.

Mel motioned for them to sit. The table before them held a variety of foods. "So. Eat. Something then let's talk"

Faith smiled Hapans were usually secretive Faith knew Melanctha was often direct it was one reason they got along so well and why when they needed a noble she thought of her.

She welcomed the food it was simple. They ate and spoke of family hers and Mel. The changes on Alderaan for certain. What as being done.

All while they waited for the true topic.

The captain did not sit himself nor eat. It was not his place to dine with nobility nor royalty in such a setting. He just stood a ways back in such a typical fashion an escort of a princess would do. If he was need for anything the Princess or the Duch’a would ask.

Melanctha finished taking a deep breath and placing her hands in her lap."so what brings the princess of Alderaan all the way to Cherubah?"

Her gaze went to the Captain wondering how much he knew. And why they were alone.

Faith wanted to be equally direct. "I'm looking for my husband, and there is a possibility he's in a jail. Captain perhaps you can explain it in better derail"

Faith invited him to come and speak.

He knew enough to know Hapans were very strict with when men should speak. The lady he severed asked him to but it would be all the more polite if the asked the Duch’a if she would mind if he spoke. “Duch’a [member="Melanctha Dallamoor"] , may I help to clarify some of the details as to why we’re here?”

"Your Princess has said to explain so yes explain to me about whatever detail is missing" Mel needed to keep the Hapan face when dealing with outsiders.

She looked to Faithq they lived in different worlds.

Faith had forgotten about the difference that women ruled and men were less. She'd apologize later.

"The captain understands the message received more than I. I. Am guided by emotions rather than logic." She smiled, "please Duch'a"

“Thank you”, the captain spoke once more after being given permission by the Duch’a as well. “Four eight years now Princess Faith Balor- Organa’a husband been missing. A few days ago we found a transmission detailing in his own words were he was heading and what may come of him. I sure a beautiful and intelligent noble woman such as your self is very well versed in the state of politics of the galaxy eight years ago. Please excuse me Duch’a while I indulge a bit while fill in details you would of course already know. Dar’yaim Balor Mandalorian warrior and husband to Princess Faith of Alderaan. He in detail in this message told how he undertook a mission by himself to strike a One Sith ship yard by himself. At the time The Galactic Republic as the Mandalorians were hard pressed by the growing thread. Systems like Alderaan were being lost by the growing tide by men and women filled by blood lust filled by the Darkside.”

“One life given to save billions in return? Such noble thoughts plague are minds even today with the continuing war with the One Sith. Even though he was a father and a husband he took this mission. Regardless of his own personal safety there was no guaranty he would survive. There is a chance this man may have survived his mission and on his way home to elude the Sith he risked imprisonment within the Hapen Consortium rather than be caught by the Sith. Princess Faith does not have access to prisoner records within the Hapes Consortium. It is her hope. No, my apologies, it is the hopes of those united in the war to fight the One Sith to bring such a warrior home to his family. We hope that you may get us a quiet audience with the Duch’x Alexander Grey. Being old comrades, the Duch’x and Dar’yaim Balor…not to mention the access the Duch’x would have with military and prisoner records. Maybe we could find this individual who would risk his own personal safety for us all.”

"That is quite the tale" Mel rose up looking out a window, she began thinking "I am acquainted with the Duch'x it may take a little doing to arrange a meeting. " she thought for a. It, "to do this I will need something in return"

Mel turned looking at Faith, "from you personally"

Mel did not know how it would be received but she'd try.

"Lets contact the Duch'x and see if he recalls the name and if he will come here" she purposely did not say what she wanted. She needed to see if Alexander would help.

Mel motioned for them to follow she would send a holo to him. See if he answered.

She walked into a nearby room and placed her feet upon the pad. Sending a message.

Well so far it seemed to go well. That is from the captain’s perspective. The Duch’a did say she would help. She asked for a favor but she said she would help. The rest at this point was up to the princess. So the captain remained silent, as the Duch’a would expect. Though his demeanor was the blank expression you would expect from an officer….there was a though in his mind imagining he might be the favor for the Duch’a. It was just a thought as he had no idea about Hapans other than the woman being in control and men being the objects that are possessed.

Faith looked hopeful but the game Mel was playing she looked to the Captain he was her friend not a servant but they had no choice they were among the Hapans.

She hoped this Duch'x would help. But. What would he want as a favour.

The Duch’x Quarters aboard the High Charity

‘Mel’, the name came to Aleister’s seeing that an incoming holo message. Being the acting Fleet Admiral of the first Hapen Royal Fleet this could be something of great importance. Without question he moved with purpose and answered the call, a call that could very well be the Cheruba system calling for aid.
“Duch’a Dallamoor, How may I help you”, Aleister answered greeting the Duch’a of Cheruba.

"Duch'x Gray forgive the intrusion. I have a matter I'd like to discuss, are you free to meet?" She did not smile but she could bot help the lilt in her voice.

Was he curious enough to meet her, or would he ask more?

A mater to discuss? He was listening and did not change his polite warm greeting thus far. Something to discuss? Was it something the Happen Court had discussed not even w week ago? “Duch’a Dallamoor. I and the Hapen First Fleet are in your general vicinity. Standard patrol, nothing to be concerned about. I could met within the hour. That is if you do not mind the entirety of the First Fleet docked in orbit”, in the perspective of many nobles in the Consortium this would not be a problem. Considering the time the Fleet would remain docked in orbit it provided extra security. There was the mater of the flag ship as well. The Hapen Battle Pulsar was the very symbol of the Hapes Consortium. Where ever it has shown up was a major boost of moral within the Consortium.
