PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Assault Cruiser
  • Length: 1,811 meters
  • Width: 333 meters
  • Height: 777 meters
  • Armament: Very High
905 spine mounted Crusader Ballista
666 broadside heavy turbolasers, 333 on each side organized into three rows of 111.
Front-facing heavily reinforced Phrik armor plating specially reinforced for ramming maneuvers.

  • Defenses: Very High
  • Hangar Space: Low: 6
  • Hangar Allocations:
    • Starfighters: 5 squadrons
    • Support Craft: 1 squadron
  • Maneuverability Rating: Average: Although it has massive main engines, the Draemidus-class has several smaller thrusters positioned around in various directions allowing for vertical and horizontal movement regardless of main engine use. This is extremely useful when positioning the ship to broadside the enemy, able to swing the front or rear of the ship around as well as rotate the ship in place.
  • Speed Rating: Average,
  • Hyperdrive: Yes
  • Hyperdrive: 1.0
STANDARD FEATURES
  • All Standard Features
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Molecular/Particle Shields generated by Drael tech
  • Docking Claws: Two sets of mechanical arms located on the ship's underbelly used for both friendly docking and transferring of goods as well as burrowing into enemy armor and unleashing boarding parties. Able to grapple and restrain anything at or below 750 meters. Smaller non-hyperdrive carrying craft are often attached to these for transport between systems.
STRENGTHS
  • Dreadnaught: The ship was designed specifically to be able to outcompete other star destroyers in a one-on-one slug fest. Heavy armor, massive guns, most one on one duels tend to lean in the Draemidus-class' favor.
  • Ramming Speed: The ship's entire front is specifically designed for ramming enemy ships, support beams run rampantly through hallways and rooms, pistons are built into the armor to lessen friendly damage, and 'teeth' are built into the front-facing armor, lashing out and digging into the enemy craft to grapple onto it upon impact. These teeth burrow through the armor and are capable of unleashing boarding parties.
WEAKNESSES
  • Underside Blues: The underside of the Draemidus-class Warship is nearly devoid of weaponry, smaller more agile ships may be able to hug the hull and dish out damage, outmaneuvering the ship as it tries to move about to fire on them.
DESCRIPTION

Built in shipyards over Traedaris the Draemidus-class Warship was designed by the Crimson Call to act as the mainstay ship of their force, yet limited materials for such a powerful and expensive ship saw only a handful ever constructed. Currently, three exist, The Litany of Joyous Gore, The Claw Ascendant, and The Warchanter's Blood-Song, often shorthanded to The Litany, The Claw, and The Blood-Song. Each one carries thousands of followers of Crimson Call, either manning weaponry, keeping the ship going, or drooling waiting for the opportunity to board the enemy ship.

The Bridge

The bridge of each Draemidus-class Warship is located at the heart of the ship, surrounded by fifteen meters of Phrik armor plating to prevent any stray rounds or burrowing objects/creatures from reaching the command crew. The main viewer screen is directly wired to several external cameras which are able to swap vision mode between visual, thermal, and able to show 3d representations of radar imagery. Smaller computer screens throughout the bridge serve a similar purpose while also acting as command sections for individual parts of the ship, each section being able to be micromanaged down to the atmosphere, security measures, and personnel. Most of the time this is left to larger more general controls at the main command section but should the need arise these individual control stations come into use to add extra hazards to invaders.

Laboratories
yury-vorobiev-vorobiev-banished-ship-13.jpg

There are several small laboratories spread throughout the ship, mostly used for combat purposes such as researching enemy tech or analyzing enemy ships for weak points they have also gotten their fair share of exploratory discoveries or used for innovation and fostering scientific expertise. It is here that war-plans are often devised, weapons invented and tested, and the most scientifically literate members of the Crimson Call find themselves toiling throughout the day trying to find any way to get an advantage over their enemies from browsing the Net to reading up on schematics or publically available science. These stations are often located near the hull of the ship, considered mostly unimportant and unlikely to be missed should they be destroyed in battle.

Scrap Deposit and Internal Factories
martin-deschambault-halo-infinite-banished-warship-gbraakon-03-mdeschambault.jpg

A central part of the Draemidus-class's self-reliance is its ability to quickly manufacture its own ammunition for many of its kinetic-based weaponry. Part of this are the large storage bays with outward-facing doors able to have scrap and destroyed vessels dragged inside and torn to pieces to build the large spikes needed for the Crusader Ballista or Crimson Call ground weaponry, or to build armor plating to replace destroyed sections of the ship or its support craft. Attached to these storage bays are large factories and smelteries where alloys and metals are melted down and repurposed and biological matter or unneeded things are thrown into great furnaces to help generate power for the ship, which is stored in great batteries should the main reactors ever go down.

MANIAC MANIAC

Removed Malabast and changed it to Phrik, Changed maneuverability to Average, removed IRL references, and the part I linked for permissions mentions Crusader Ballista in the ranged weaponry options, and since I have met the prerequisites brought up in that post I should have permission for it.
