Possessing a classical Hapan physiognomy, Dollshade’s facial features can be described as uniformly elegant, soft, innocent, and alluring, lending her visage a doll-like quality. Her eyes are large and wide-set, producing a strikingly bright blue hue that creates an almost luminescent effect. They are framed by long, voluminous lashes and soft, arched eyebrows. Her skin is porcelain-smooth and fair, possessing a soft, flawless texture that almost seems to glow under light. Her lips are full and glossy, with a natural heart shape and a delicate pink-red color. Her nose is small, narrow, and delicately shaped, with a subtle, refined bridge and barely defined nostrils. Her hair is pale platinum blonde, which she typically styles in a braid swept to one side.

In terms of her facial structure, Dollshade has a wide forehead, prominent cheekbones, and a gently tapered jawline leading to a narrow, delicate chin. These features lend her face a notable heart shape, albeit with some ovular aspects. In particular, her cheekbones are high and prominent, extending slightly outward. These add volume to the upper face and catch light, imparting a soft, feminine aspect. There is a gentle contour beneath the cheekbones, without any harsh shadows. The transition from her cheeks to jaw is smooth, indicating low subcutaneous fat and a refined facial bone structure. Accordingly, her jawline possesses subtle definition, curving inward from the ear to the chin. It is notably tapered and soft, rather than angular. It culminates in a small and rounded chin that features a refined, slightly pointed tip. Finally, her midface is vertically short, and her features exhibit an exceptional degree of symmetry.

BIOGRAPHY
Project Veil was born from a theoretical posed by Regional Overseer Vey Ixar:

“What if we could skip loyalty, obedience, and fear—and simply grow the mission?”

What came out of this question was Project Veil, an ISS blacksite initiative focused on growing expendable adult operatives through Engineered Variance Cloning. Cognitive imprinting techniques adapted from Imperial cyberwarfare brainwash programs and neuro-mirroring technologies derived from Arkanian research cells were used to train and condition the operatives, turning them into disposable, hyper-lethal assets.

Subject 11, later christened “Dollshade,” was one of the few stable outcomes.

Matured in stasis with nutrients, oxygen, and neural imprint cycling in just twelve hours, her body was made to manifest softness and grace—with Hapan features designed to appear disarming feminine. Her voice—when she speaks at all—is breathy, melodic, and uncanny in its tone. She is a weapon built to look harmless. A lullaby with teeth.

After successfully completing several calibration trials, Dollshade was commissioned as an ISS Asset and given her first assignment under her assigned handler.

Brain recognizes threat proximity and executes rehearsed, neurologically optimized response chains—akin to a machine running compiled subroutines. As a result, she can execute piston-speed strikes, rapid parries, explosive directional changes, and similar maneuvers in a manner akin to a master Teräs Käsi practitioner.
      • Instinct-Locked Combat Sequences: Imprinted with pre-loaded combat chains known informally as Reflex Libraries. These are motion patterns linked to sensory cues (stance, breathing, angle). When she sees a certain body language or incoming threat, her body responds automatically with pre-compiled counter sequences—so fast they feel “inhuman.” Reflex Libraries encompass hardwired feints, grabs, flips, strikes, and more—not trained, but installed.
        • Imprinting also includes combat behavior archetypes: thousands of categorized movement patterns, drawn from stormtroopers, Force-sensitives (Jedi and Sith), Mandalorians, bounty hunters, martial artists, and other common combatant profiles.
        • Her brain automatically tags threats based on posture, eye focus, shoulder tension, and foot placement. This allows her to pre-act instead of react, giving the illusion of precognition.
        • Certain threat thresholds are tied to instinctive movement scripts. A sudden limb entering her threat radius can activate a programmed kill-response. These scripts are trained to activate at the spinal level, bypassing cognitive hesitation.
      • Dynamic Combat Routines: Governing her combat decision-making, her imprinting contains entire behavioral trees. These are pre-written “decision branches” for different combat scenarios: single opponent, multi-angle attacks, narrow corridors, grounded positioning, vertical combat, and more. Every motion feeds into a coded response loop that requires no conscious decision—just sensor input → branch selection → execution.

        • Under desperate conditions, she may emit soft hums, breath bursts, or subharmonic vocalizations, tuned to ricochet off tight corridors or irregular terrain. She can calculate the volume decay of her own breath to measure room size, object proximity, and hollow vs. solid structures.
      • Auditory Conditioning: She can separate multiple overlapping sounds into layered identities—footsteps, blood pumping, fabric shifting, even tension in someone’s fingers on a trigger. Given enough auditory data, her brain can project a 3D “shadow map” of her surroundings in complete darkness.

      • Proprioceptive Index Mapping: Her proprioception—her internal map of her body’s position in space—is razor-sharp due to relentless input-loop reconditioning. Even blindfolded, inverted, or underwater, she can recreate her own skeleton in her mind at all times.
      • Echo Mirror Conditioning: Conditioned in “echo mirror routines”—training patterns based on classical ballet footwork, Teräs Käsi stance flows, and monastic martial art balancing forms. As a result, she can internalize the rhythm of minute muscle pressure and balance shifts.
      • Environmental Tuning Reflex: Her balance responds to the environment with pre-trained microcalibration logic. She can “feel” a floor's incline from the contact pressure in her pinky toe, detect the width of a hallway by the echo of her own breath, and register the subtle difference in humidity or barometric pressure to elucidate whether she's on steel grating, duracrete, or plastiform composite.   • Hyper-Lethal Vector: Hyper-conditioned and hyper-lethal, Dollshade is for all intents and purposes a weapon disguised as a Hapan woman. Conditioned for undercover operations, she is rated to perform high-risk infiltration operations into secure areas. She is also a fully capable direct-combat operator—the kind of assassin that can be dropped into a warzone or sent to clean up high-risk targets with overwhelming force, if needed.
  • Sonic Conditioning: Although her Hapan eyes are night-blind, Dollshade can perceive her surroundings without sight. She can navigate in darkness through echolocation and other means. Her ability to do so is so acute that she can register minute air pressure differences, discriminate among multiple overlapping sounds, and utilize sound cues to map out her environment. So refined is hearing that sight is almost completely non-essential to her operational efficiency.
  • Ballerina Protocol: Dollshade’s senses of balance is anchored in rigorous conditioning, sensorimotor imprinting, and isolation-based training regimens. The result is a hyper-refined kinesthetic awareness that allows her to move with eerie precision—even in zero visibility, zero gravity, or unpredictable terrain.
WEAKNESSES
  • Night Blind: While her ultra-refined auditory processing capabilities allow her to compensate, Dollshade is night-blind. If her hearing is by some means compromised, she will be left blind in the dark.
  • Disposable Asset: A built-in shutdown switch, traceable isotope tag in her bones, and immune system flaws leaves Dollshade totally dependent on her handlers for survival. Her handlers periodically provide her with fixed-term immune-boosting serums to make up for her immune deficiencies. However, if she is separated from them for prolonged periods, she will fall violently ill.
PERSONALITY OVERVIEW
Dollshade is restrained, but not cold. During training and work, she is hyper-focused, slipping into what her handlers refer to as “lace mode”—a detached trance where movement becomes fluid and speech becomes absent. In more general contexts, her emotions remain muted, internal, and filtered through symbolic responses. She rarely laughs, but often smiles at visual symmetry. She will pause for breath if she sees something that she deems “lovely”. Beauty moves her more than pain.

Her quirks are precise and at times, ritualistic.

She adores perfume, favoring a custom blend of mint and vanilla—sharp freshness softened by warmth. She associates scent with memory and controls her emotional state by layering perfume. She also takes religious care of her hair, brushing it in private before and after events—exactly 100 strokes.
