While I do have another thread open for encounters and other such run ins with the Baroness; this is to gauge the interest in those that would like to help found a holding company.

ZaibatsuChaebol

The company itself would benefit directly from the wealth of the Magrath family; as well as using the natural resources of the Avidonian System as collateral to back their finances (much as the IGBC backs the Credit with the wealth of Mygeeto).

In terms of percentile division of ZaibatsuChaebol; it would look like the following.

• ZaibatsuChaebol
  ​51% - Baroness Magrath; House Magrath
• 49% - Other

The majority would be held by the Baroness, with the remaining shares going to those individuals with an interest in join and aiding in the initial finances of the company.

If you are interested; please respond with the % of shares you would be interested in funding. Keep in mind though, that Tier 4+ companies, Minor Factions and Major Factions would be permitted a higher share than an individual.

Boons of sharing with ZaibatsuChaebol include the use of their subsidiaries for your factory submissions without needing direct permission.

Could you educate me on what exactly a holding company is, and how an investment processes would work?

A holding company's sole purpose is to own the outstanding stock of other companies. This means that ZaibatsuChaebol is not a production or service company; with its primary purpose to own shares in other companies and create a 'corporate group'.

For Chaos, ZaibatsuChaebol would essentially own other companies of lower tiers, and would link those companies together. So if Company A needed a specific resource, then ZaibatsuChaebol would put it in contact with Company B within the corporate group so that Company A could produce its item.

The investment process would take place IC, with a thread(s) that would announce the planning and eventual foundation of a holding company.

Yes (though I don't have much information on ATC or Silk Holdings). ZaibatsuChaebol will be starting out small. Though it is hoped that the first establishing threads will aid in a rapid expansion. You're more than welcome to join; and your company would be welcomed to be added to the group. What amount of shares would you like? (there is a chart above).
