Arianna Organa
Queen Mother
The Past months after her return to Alderaan -
Arianna found out she had a reminder of her time with Garith on their little world isolated from the galaxy. On the day the doctor told her she was pregnant and that there were two heart beats she could have fallen off of her chair first with shock and then with overwhelming happiness.
Pregnant. Oh she had not considered but then she thought if Garith age was 462 years old that he could not have children, he did not mention children to her and she had just assumed. Surely he had thought of it they were there over a year she would have been pregnant long before now.
Arianna closed her eyes ok, she had to tell him. Not that she expected him to run back here be so overjoyed that he would stay..well maybe she did think that.
I'm a bad man Arianna.
She had seen him do things but each time she could see justification in it. OHHhh so not the time to think of this!
She had to tell him she was pregnant with his children. She wanted to tell him look your line will go on, your house will know the laughter and love of children.
There was another obstacle to face, that of her sister the doctor, the Jedi, the head of their house. She did not expect Rianna to be harsh no, but she would have an expectation that the father would be there. Rianna as expected asked for his name once again Arianna as stubborn as an old mule would not give it. It became a separation point in the relationship of the sisters. Arianna knew she had to protect Garith the bad man, from Rianna the good Jedi. She loved them both but had to do what was best for all of them, she had to be responsible. Her reputation had suffered a blow but it would in time flourish and instill confidence in the people.
Garith. Arianna just knew that once she told him he would come, he would be here.
Her time for delivery was drawing closer she gave Leto the message to send once more, for months she had reached out for him and for months there was nothing but silence. Her heart sank was his pain so great that he could not come for this? Did he think that he was so much a threat to her position that he couldn't come for this? She knew she had not misjudged him, she would bet the entire Organa household on it.
And still there was silence.
What Arianna did not know was that Leto, a trusted member of the staff for yeard. He was head of the household staff had taken it upon himself to determine who would know about the shame the Marchesa was bringing to her family. He did not send the messages, and any messages that came back were never delivered.
The day of delivery came and like women for hundreds of generations Arianna labored until she brought forth her children. Sitting up in her bed before her nestled in their fuzzy blankets of pink and blue were the children of Arianna and Garith such wondrous little babies were to her. What would their lives be like?
Arianna had the responsibility now to give them names she had wanted to give the boy Garith's father's name but did not know it. Instead she remembered her mother's brother, her Uncle Theo. The family tree showed that his actual name was Theodosius and so her son would be called Theodosius Garith Organa. A beautiful boy with crystal blue eyes and dark hair.
The girl Arianna could only think of one name Faith. Garith had always told her to have faith, faith in him. In the tradition of their family she named her Faith Mae Organa. Mae being the family named shared by many grand Organa women.
The twins turned a year old they were both so bright, so loving with everyone. Their cherub cheeks and innocent laughs brought joy to a house that had seen too much death. Arianna wished Garith could see them, she sent the message again.
Another year passes and nothing each month she has sent a message hoping.
Arianna's journal -Theo and Faith are two years old day and for two years I have reached out to find their father. For two years there has been nothing but silence from him. Part of me is so angry with him that I could shake him till his teeth rattle, the other frets that he is dead and that the only reminders of him are currently playing smugglers with the Nanny. They are my connection to him. The reminder of all that we shared. A reminder that love goes on. The day he brought me home I put on the face of the noble passive, emotionless and dug for a strength that he had taught me I had. I am once again faced with finding that strength to know that I must fully let him go wherever he is, if he lives or if he does not my love is with him and my heart is here loving OUR children.
I miss him still.
It was decided she would no longer send the messages she would go on and raise her children, alone within the walls of House Organa near the ocean with its lush green lands, snow-capped mountains, and high walls protecting them.
For 18 years Arianna raised her children alone longing for their father they were asking about him who their father is. Arianna relented and broke her own promise.
She would try again, only this time she would do it herself. She wanted to see that the message went, she wanted to see that he didn't respond.
Garith, I am trying one more time to find you to reach out to talk to you. I MUST talk to you it is of a vital importance. It's been so long I tried for two years after we parted to find you. Are you alive? Can you not talk to me? Please Garith, I need you. Arianna
She said nothing about how he said he would answer. She said nothing about how much she loved him still, she said nothing that would cause them both such an agony that death might feel like relief from it.
