Do you guys like Let's Plays? (Interest check, kinda)

Title says it all. Do you guys watch 'em? What do you think makes them good? What makes them awful?

I have my own channel, but I don't want to just throw it out onto the forums without any information. Let me know what you think, or if you'd want to see some of the stuff I do.

I watch a lot of lets plays from Roosterteeth, pewdiepie, and Tobuscus. I personally enjoy them because they're funny and they make you laugh, while getting you more interested in the game. For instance, Pewdie's letsplay on assassins creed 3 multiplayer. He has no clue how to play, but he's sitting there just having a good time and making fun of everyone. My advice: Be the Gavin of roosterteeth. Be your own goofy self and just let it rip!

i watch them all the time.. people ejoy when they can be apart of something and when you dont do it exactly the right way.. For me its how people present themselfs with there voice.. If they sound dead and not wanting to do it then its boring but if you sound hapoy and excided about it then most of the time its good.

My god yes. I love them. Pewdiepie, Cryaotic, tmartn2, Jesse Cox, FusionCap...used to watch Tobuscus, then got bored with his Minecraft vids and unsubbed.

I prefer my game walkthroughs without commentary. Accents, humor, intelligence, and vulgar remarks are so varied these days? I've never found someone I enjoy listening to for longer than ten minutes.

I enjoy the Skyrim Let's Plays most of the time or when they play them with mods.

I don't really like Let's Plays, because I like to play the games myself and if I have to watch a walkthrough I prefer it to be without someone talking over it. That's why I prefer Reviews, Gameplay Montages, etc.

The only "Let's Play" channels I watch are Two Best Friends Play. Partially because I get to see the game, and for the most part, because I find them hilarious a lot of the time.

I watch a few of them. My advice, don't worry about trying to be like anyone else. Just think of what kind of 'product' you'd want to watch and try to put that out there.
