Distress Call (Space RP)

"Listen to her, leave your weapon." He'd bark the order to the man, without turning his head. His hands would still be raised in the arm. "I feel as though we got off on the wrong foot. So how about, I personally pay for any inconvenience and we forget all about it?" He knew it was a long shot, but he had no wish to deal with a force user. They seemed to be everywhere he was.

“Yea, yea, yea.” Jennifer was starting to become more agitated than fearful and thereby a bit rash. She would take a few steps forward with the still lifted blaster, still at a proper distance from the group, moving in such a way so that she could still keep an eye on the tusken raider. “You still didn’t answer my question!” She had bad experiences with Duros, she saw them as cheating and cunning.

But she didn’t like any of this one bit.

"Look, we were hired by a certain group to capture ships. You sadly fell into my little scheme, but I am willing to forget all about the acquisition of a ship and safety deliver you to your required destination. You and all of your possessions." He'd make a simple hand gesture, behind him his troops would lower the weapons.

[member="Jen"]

Jennifer wasn’t convinced at all, but nonetheless walked a bit towards the Jackal crew, still pointing her blaster between them, it tight in her grip as she made sure to keep the tusken raider in her eyes.

She knew how lowly pirates could be and the thought of them turning on a plate to suddenly want to help her didn’t comfort her one bit, but neither did that Tusken Raider and they were probably the only ones with a working ship in a thousand miles radius. Not that she was probably able to fix her own and get home with her back up drive, but still. It wasn’t likely that the Jackals would just let her go even if they claimed she would be stranded.

“Yea? And what would that get you other than extra fuel costs? A cleaner halo?”

Tugoro continued to watch the scene, observing the movements of [member="Jen"], and the men that [member="Cadan Tazi"] commanded. They had lowered their weapons, while her own was still raised and pointing at them. Still weaponless, the young 'Tusken Raider' would begin to raise his arms, exerting the force energy within and around him, allowing it to flow and expand throughout the immediate area. With his sensing, Tugoro could tell that the woman was obviously nervous, he could also tell that the men present were the ones who were up to no good, for there was a deceitful aura about them.

Manipulating the sand around the group with his telekinesis, Tugoro would begin to slowly generate a miniature sandstorm, causing the small particles to whip around in plentiful amounts. The sand would begin to shroud the area, making it difficult to see for those below, unless they had some sort of head gear to protect their eyes. Expelling more force energy, the young Padawan would make the sandstorm grow, hoping to block the hovering ship's view as well as he began to move forward. Enhanced by the force, the boy would move with much agility, sprinting towards the young woman and attempting to pick her up off of the ground, one arm hooking under her legs while the other supported her waist. If he was able to catch her off guard, he would quickly leap from the area, getting behind the crashed ship and setting Jen down on the ground.

Tugoro really wasn't sure of what else there was he could do, seeing as the landscape was rather open. If he tried to make a run for it, there was a big chance that he'd get blasted away by the nearby craft that was active. Perhaps he would have to take it down? That would be fun to try, he had never done such a thing before. All the while, he stood there, looking towards his potential opponents, still wearing the creepy attire upon his body.

NPC
As the 'sandstorm' began to rise, the small particles of sand would start to attack the group of brigands. The two began to cover their eyes with the clothes, not wanting the tiny projectiles to cut or harm them. One began to talk, but only got a mouthfall of sand, he began to couch as the sand filled his throat.

Character
Cadan saw the first pieces of sand begin to lift from the ground a circle them, he drew his shirt up around his mouth and began to shout out to Jen. "It would appear our little munchkin has decided to attack! Make up your mind and do it quickly!". Before anything else could happen Cadan would activate his comm link and bark an order to the pilot of the JT Asmodium. "Land her now, its only a few specs of sand." The sand would wipe across his face, attacking any uncovered feature, including his eyes.

Scene
The JT Asmodium would begin its landing cycle. The slightest little 'clink' and 'clank' could be heard as the occasional rock hit the shit. The pistons would sing their metalic song as the ship touch the ground, its gang plank extending forward as The Jackals began to stagger and blindly find their way onto the ship.

As the sand storm slowly started to brew, the flecks of stone flying across the ground and air obscured Jennifer’s vision as she would immediately have looked towards the Tusken Raider who stood with his arms raised, a surprised and partly frightened expression seen on her face.

The barrel of her blaster swirled towards the Raider instead as this odd occurrence took place. What was this, some sort of voodoo? “What the kark is it doing?!” She would yell over the storm, trying to be louder than the wind and sound of whistling sand. She kept her eyes squinted in order to avoid most of the irritations that came from such phenomena as this, raising her jacket a bit with the hand that held her bag, to protect her face, her feet back-tracking as she tried to find a way out of the somewhat limited storm.

That was at least until she spotted something, a movement. She couldn’t truly make it out because of the downpour of sand, but even then a strange feeling overwhelmed her, as if a warning. She in desperation squeezed the tricker of her blaster twice towards where it was last held. The place the Tusken Raider had been standing. Blaster bolts flew from her weapon, hungrily waiting to dispel their energy upon something as they moved.

Being unaware of one’s own connection to the force: unknowing of how to control it as well, both had its advantages and disadvantages. One of them being that you would often trust your instincts a lot more than you otherwise would without such a connection. Whether that was an advantage or disadvantage however, was a whole other question.

Still within the miniature sandstorm, Tugoro would have the clear advantage, his Tusken Raider attire protecting his body from the barrage of sand and whatever else was within the surface. As he moved, his danger sense would alert him to hostility, his speedy form being able to easily dodge the blaster bolts as they launched through the whirlwind. Given that [member="Cadan Tazi"] had clearly been taken by surprise, the young boy figured that he was dealing with [member="Jen"], who was actually able to aim at him through the storm? It was strange, though as the apprentice digged deeper, he could feel the force within her. Even so, she was untrained and lacked skill, nonetheless she would fair well against non-force users.

Tugoro didn't really know much about the young woman, neither did he know anything about Tazi. It didn't feel right to attack Jennifer, but if she was going to start something, he would have to end it quickly. Advancing through the sandstorm, Tugoro would continue to bob and weave, hopping from side to side on each foot as he drew himself closer to the armed Raven. With his natural speed enhanced, the boy would attempt to take Jen completely off guard and end the conflict, his hand raised before striking downwards, hopefully connecting with her neck. The karate-esque chop, if successful, would render the woman unconcious temporarily, leaving herself limp on the ground. Tugoro was rather strong for a Padawan, but he was not using his full strength or speed just yet, not seeing the need to.

Regardless of the outcome of the scuffle, the raging miniature storm would begin to calm, the telekinetic exertion on the boy's mind having taken it's toll. He was focused on other things now, and decided that it would not be needed, now that the craft nearby had landed.

Scene
Cadan and the crew stumbled up onto the ship, the sound of the blaster shots barely made it to Cadan's ears. The JT Asmodium began to take off, the engines humming their deep song. The gangplank remained down though, Cadan standing on it he had a rope thrown down so he could slide down it at anytime. The JT Asmodium would move forward slightly towards the area of which Jen was last standing.

Character
Upon taking off, the sandstorm began to subside. Cadan squinted his eyes only just managing to see the slight movement of Tugoro just about to hit Jen. Cadan opened up his comm to the cockpit. "Hover here now!" His voice echoed through the cockpit. He began to slid down the rope, the sand somewhat cushioning his impact, but only slightly. He had his sonic rifle ready, his eyes still squinting as the sandstorm was settling down.

[member="Tugoro Taidarious"] [member="Jen"]

The blaster shots Jennifer had fired flew through the air, melting and dissolving the sand from the storm in its path, yet hitting nothing more than that. Suddenly the shadory figured vanished and appeared by her side. A chop connected with her neck, her shoulders pulling up in cramps a second too late as the chop temporarily made her loose some of the connection so to speak to her brain.

She stumbled to the side after she had been hit, a hand shooting towards neck, in turn making her drop her blaster. Blackened spots appeared and obscured her vision as she with a soft sound landed cushioned by the sand. Her groan came as she landed face first, her entire body seeming not to respond for a moment before she hastily rolled onto her back.

Perhaps that tusken raider had just been a distraction from these pirates? There was no time for such odd conclusions and slowly she tried to get up onto her feet, her hand fumbling by her belt as she tried to grab something from it.

((Sorry for the late reply. A lot of stuff have been delaying me. I hope to continue this thread))

As the sandstorm subsided, from the gang way Cadan saw the attack fall upon Jen.

It would seem like a blur of movement, Cadan quickly brought his sonic rifle up, aimed it at the Padawan and applied pressure to the trigger. The sonic rifle spat out a circular wave of sound, the circle heading towards the Padawan. If hit the circular wave would stun the Padawan.

[member="Tugoro Taidarious"] [member="Jen"]

Tugoro now stood calmly, looking down at the dazed [member="Jen"] who had begun to collect herself once more. Sighing at his failed rescue attempt, the young Jedi would simply shrug, before a sudden danger sense shot through his body. His neck would crane to the side, his eyes focusing in on [member="Cadan Tazi"] who had just pulled the trigger of his sonic rifle. Lifting both of his arms and twisting his torso to face the attack, Tugoro would react quickly, focusing and controlling the force energy within and around him. It would bend to his will as he called for it's aid, forming a barrier in front of him just as the blast connected. The Padawan would be sent flying backwards, most of the damage he would have taken being negated by the technique. Even so, he hit the ground hard, tumbling and rolling in the sand, before leaping back on to his feet.

"So... Why are we fighting?" The 'Tusken' would suddenly call out, wondering how he would be received.

Cadan saw the Padawan use the force to defend himself againts the sonic rifle and sighed. "Karking Jeds." He said under his breath. Then the stragest thing happened, the Tusken spoke. He was a bit taken aback but still they could speak. "Just leave the women alone. And then we will stop this fighten' " Although he was speaking, he didn't lower his rifle, he was ready to fire again if need be.

As Jennifer finally got onto her feet she was still not completely sure how she had landed in the sand in the first place, her steps wild as she quickly back tracked across the sand. As she did the hand that had been fumbling by her belt finally grasped around the vibro knife she had been looking for and drew it, holding it tightly in her hand in an opposite grip with the blade facing downwards.

What exactly was going on was a concept unknown to her, however this Tusken Raider didn't exactly appear friendly from what she could gather.

[member="Cadan Tazi"] :: [member="Tugoro Taidarious"]

Having leaped back onto his feet, the young teen was ready to continue the fight, his physique moving back and forth as he hopped on each foot. Noticing the [member="Jen"] had gotten back to her feet and drawn her weapon, Tugoro would not pay her much mind, given that [member="Cadan Tazi"]'s blaster rifle was a much larger threat at the moment. Suddenly becoming still, the youth's arms would lift into the air in a surrendering gesture, the palms of his hands open and facing each of the combatants. Of course, the Jedi was not about to give up the fight thanks to his ego, but he also did not want it turning sour due to the use of weapons. He probably could have avoided anymore fighting at this point, but he just enjoyed it too much. With a twist of both of his wrists, Tugoro would release a burst of telekinetic energy, focusing on the force energy within and around him. It would hone in on the Jackal's rifle, collecting and gathering around the barrel to form a tight grip. Closing his hand into a clenched fist, the youth would manipulate that very telekinetic energy, causing it to compress and crush the weapon's rifle to some degree.

His other hand would also do the same, though instead of compacting the force energy around Jen's knife, it would swipe out as a tendril, condensing to form and create an almost whip-like action, that would hopefully slap the blade from the woman's hand. If he had been successful in disarming them, Tugoro would get a great idea, figuring that he had to put these two at ease somehow. Leveling his fingers out with his neck, the boy would begin to quickly unravel the Tusken mask he wore, tossing the entire thing to the ground to reveal his youthful facial features. His dark brown hair was slicked back, and his emerald eyes had a serious yet carefree look to them. His fair skin gleamed in the sunlight, as he rapidly looked between the two he was currently engaging in a showdown with. "-YOU- leave her alone," Tugoro spoke in a very child-like manner, having figured that the blue skinned man was the enemy.

The Sith lord liked to keep tabs on the Jackals, considering that they were considered his underlings and as a king, he cared for those that are under him. Allowing himself to come upon the planet, though choosing to stay at a far distance from the group. That was until he overheard a child shout out about someone else leaving a female alone, that was the part where he let out a deep growl, children whining was something that pissed him off.

Carolus would begin to make his way towards [member="Tugoro Taidarious"], keeping his focus upon both keeping himself cloaked with the force and making use of the art of the small, which made his presence in the force smaller than that of a lizard running in the distant, making the lord near impossible to see. Once the lord was close enough, he would speak in a loud dominating tone but keeping himself near impossible to see or be felt.

"Child, learn your place!"

As his weapon's barrel was slightly contorted and dented, Cadan would fling it around to his back and draw his DL-18. "Your turn to shine, Sunshine." He whispered to his pistol.

Cadan was a bit surprised about the raider being a young boy. He'd point the DL-18 at the Padawan. But something stopped him from pulling the trigger.

As the dark Lord appeared Cadan would look towards Jen. "If you want to be safe, you'd best come here." He knew it was unwise to get in the way of a Dark Lord. Cadan still held his weapon at the ready.
