Distress Call (Space RP)

Setting
Traveling on the solar winds, star and various debris clog the space between the atmosphere and Tatooine, before you can proceed....
Intermittent burst of artificial light wrack your dashboard, a sequence of numbers lighting up on the florescent green screen, your hands slight across the metallic keys isolating the freqency an audible groan of static, the sound clip burst to life.
"Mayday mayday, this is the JT Asmodium. We are currently stranded above Tatooine! Our life support is going down, we've got wound-"
The sound clip cuts out, followed by the sound of static and white noise.
(Optional)
You track a distress call to a vacant area of space far above Tatooine. A rotund expanse of dented metal can be seen, on closed inspection you would note that it is a BT-7 Thunderclap, a re-purposed Republic Assault Ship, armor platting flecked with the refuse of aged paint.

Character
Cadan would pace around the cockpit of the JT Asmodium, he would look out the widow looking into the vast abyss know as space. Cadan's left wrist would come up to his mouth, he'd use his right index finger to press a button on it. A message would echo through the speaks throughout the JT Asmodium.
"All crew, report to the cockpit now!"
His voice would seem urgent, causing the crew to drop whatever they were doing and report to the cockpit.

It wasn’t every day Jennifer was on or even in the near space of Tatooine, but she had been traveling here recently due to some business agreements she had made with local drug dealers. Nonetheless, upon arrival, far from the desert planet the static transmission hit her signals, the message popping up on the HUD in her Stargoddess Fighter. She adjusted herself a bit in her seat at the arrival of this message, picking up a can of soda that was resting by her displays. The hollow echoing sound of a straw sucking up the remains of a can was heard mixed with the voice from the distress call as she replayed the recording, her curiosity biting.

She was supposed to merely travel to Tatooine, but she was as usual in good time due to miscalculations on the hyperdrive so it wouldn’t hurt to at least take a look. Slowly she started her scanners, soon enough locating the BT-7 Thunderclap model. Navigating the space terrain far above Tatooine she soon found herself approaching the ship, cone of lights casts from survey lamps on the ship as she took a look at it, her comm unit turned on by the flick of a switch.

“Hey folks, how’re you all hanging up in there?” Jennifer's voice sounded from her end of the comm, to the listeners it would clearly be a female talking, her voice melodious and soft, yet it carried some sort of pretend gangster attitude to it that could only come from a life of hanging out with rough types.

Cadan's wrist would light up, just after sending for his crew. The message would play and the women's voice would echo through the cockpit. A sad smile would cross his face as he thought about his mission. He'd open up his comm. "Our message got through!? I thought we were lost out here. Please we need help, our engines have died and our life support is gone." His voice was one of a man who had spent his years dealing with thugs, thieves, pirates and any other low life. It was croaky, taut voice.

Personally, Jennifer wasn’t unfamiliar with cheating and lies. It was almost a part of her everyday job even though there was a certain standard among the people in the Red Ravens. But at the very least she dealt with it on a daily basis and even though she was no pirate she had still heard of their tricks, she was familiar with them. Of course, she did not think of this immediately, still open to the situation at hand.

She steered her small fighter ship a bit to the right, circling it until she arrived towards the cockpit side of the ship, the blinding light from her ship shining through the windows when found, herself leaning a bit forward in her craft so she could better get a view of what was on the inside. “Yea it got through alright. You guys should be careful, this is a crew ship right? I mean… You don’t know what sort of types attention you could draw.”

She smirked slightly, not standing still for long, her ship starting to move after she had gotten a good look on what was inside the cockpit. "So what can I do for you?" Jennifer's voice would sound once her ship was gone, circling the craft once more, inspecting it.

[member="Cadan Tazi"]

As the light shon in through the cockpit window, Cadan would shade his eyes, letting them adjust. As he did so, his Raven Gauss Rifle would hand by his side. "Our engines cut out and we can't get them up and running. We have tried everything we can think of. Even whacked Jasper against it a couple of times. Do you think you could assist us?" Cadan would pace around the cokcpit for a few seconds thinking. Then a light bulb lit up above his head. "There will be credits in it for ya!" His voice almost leaping from his throat. If there was one thing Cadan knew, it was that everyone had a price.

[member="Jen"]

“Hmm, I’ve no soda left. Really sucks.” Jennifer said over the comm with a sigh, the shaking of a can and straw heard. Probably shaken a bit to make sure there was no soda left at the bottom of the can. She continued to circle a bit around the ship a bit in that of her own, taking a closer look at the engine outputs in order to see if the ship had used them recently, she leaned back in her chair, crossing her legs as she pondered.

“I suppose I could help you out. I’ve to ask though, do you folks have a connection to the HoloNet? Also, how many credits and how many hours do you have left on your life support?”
She rubbed her chin, slowly going to grab her datapad.

Rounding on the dashboard, the 'clink' and 'clank' of weighted feet, moving a mechanical contraption would appear next to Cadan, the round bulbs for finger's stretch out and connect with the dashboard, lenses expand outwards the shine and glint of the dashboard can be seen reflected back.

A com would be opened, and a voice would confront it in cold brash tones. "Captain, we've caught one. Our coordinates are the same."

It started with a slight shimmer, as if the space was being warped and twisted. Then, in a flash of pale silvery light a ship bursts from hyper space its dark expanse of grey hull contrasting with the black of space, and the occasional white ray of dull light leaking from a distant star. On closer inspection you would note that it is indeed a crusader class corvette.

puTu8nc.png

Lights flickered, casting a crepuscular glow within the confines of the screen and neighbouring dashboard, a sequence of numbers flash by in florescent green, the holocron activates, the sound of wrapping and tapping can be heard on a grated floor, stepping into the view of the holocron it began to take shape a slender cylindrical mass of durasteel and the odd wire. A mask in the shape of the Jackals insignia could be seen, its hands crunching together into fist with a metallic 'pop'.

"Greetings, I do not mean to impose. But you must power down your ship." his voice coarse like fragmented rock in hessian sack, moving and grinding against each other, somehow its complexity could raise veins and rattle bones, crawling under the skin like a Womp rat in the sand.

[member="Jen"]

The silver fluorescence of space being warped was spotted in the corner of Jennifer’s eye, the thing emerging massive in comparison to her own ship and that of the so-called “downed” one. Jennifer immediately bolting forward in her seat to sit straight, her before relaxed expression immediately turning hard, a frown visible on her face. The message appearing over the comm unit of her own. Frightening in its own right, but she didn’t think much of it however, ignoring the request. Unless these guys were crazy they would have exited the hyperdrive jump at a good distance from herself and the thunderclap.

“Hmmm, knew it!” She would almost yell over the comm, her ship who had not been standing still for long at any point in time, immediately going into violent counter measures, the maneuvering thrusters flaring to life, throwing itself in a spin to the opposite site of that the giant crusader class corvette, pinning the BT-7 Thunderclap in-between herself and the war ship. “We did not even reach introductions. How terrible. You’re messing with the wrong person, Fellas!" She would shout while she made her evasion maneuver to get out of sight of the Corvette.

Both the ships she had been confronted with today were relics compared to that of her own. Furthermore, she for one was not interested in getting into an assault and since she last checked most Crusader Class Corvettes came with Class 1.0 hyper drives. She would one up that in the ship of her own, making even Han-Solo jealous. By this point, it wouldn’t surprise her if the BT-7 would come to life.

Her HoloSyntheticTM Canopy Display would light up almost immediately as threats were calculated by her on board C-N:FA01 Navigational Computer immediate escape and pursuit routes being given at Jennifer’s disposal, she had no intention of attacking unless severely provoked, so she choosed the escape routes at the press of a button. Once she would be able to initialize the class 0.5 hyperdrive of hers this navigator would also calculate the jump point. A powerful tool if used correctly.

“What do you say, I give you guys a million credits and you start shooting at each other? Fair deal? Just toss me your encryption numbers once done!” She said, her features still cold as she finished the quick spin, her main engines immediately flaring on, turning her entire ship on the spot so it faced away from both the corvette and Thunderclap, ready to fly off.

She would at this point in time be on the opposite side of the BT-7 Thunderclap, it being between herself and the Corvette. Her engines were only a click away from igniting at full throttle. The next second would matter a lot to these pirates. She liked fires like these when they didn't hurt. Truth be told she heavily considered powering down her ships simply so she could talk with them. But with the great cover of a powered down ship inbetween her and a threat... Not likely.

It started with the lighting up of the interior of the ship, then move to a deep rythmic hum as the engines sprang to life. The JT Asmodium would come to life after Cadan swept his hands acroos the dash board, pressing a button here and there. The JT Asmodium would swing around to face the Stargoddess Fighter. "Get a lock on that ship. Now!" Cadan would shout to anyone in the cockpit.

With a press of a button or two, the weapons on the JT Asmodium would begin to warm up. "We don't want to destroy that ship."

"A million to shoot at each other aye? I think you got yourself a deal. So don't go anywhere." His voice would be less angry then when he was speaking to his crew, he was obviously trying to make 'nice' and attempt to stop Jen from going anywhere.

[member="Jen"] [member="Flannigan Mcnash"] [member="Haaza Kutter"]

Jennifer let out a dry chuckle as she put her Stargoddess fighter on full throttle, the engines and thrusters roaring to life in the silence of space, swooping forward with incredible speed as if merely gliding through the vastness of empty black. She was sure to pedal fast forward as her ship had a speed and maneuverability rating of 2 point 0. Numbers, pathways and other useful information flared across her screen, updating and calculating new routes for every meter, perhaps even every centimeter her ship rocketed itself forward at maximum thrust with the full and only purpose to escape her pursuers.

Over the communications line the roar from her engine was heard as the sound made it through her hull and into her cockpit, her chuckle a response to Cadan’s words. “I won’t be staying around for the show I’m afraid!” She practically yelled, her smirk broad as her ship swung itself into a long arch as it continued to add momentum to its own mass, a move made in an attempt to confuse the Jackals should they attempt to fire or lock onto her ship. Now she would not be traveling in a straight line. Something that could maybe be hard to spot from the distances that would soon emerge between the parties.

She glanced briefly down towards her console board, a meter on it showing a glowing number, 52%. She was pushed into her cushion as she speeded forward, pushed by the centrifuge effect there was created. She gritted her teeth, her jaw steel tense as she waited for the 52% to become 53 and so on. Once the number reached hundred her warp engine would be ready and she would be long gone before they could even mutter “Dang it.”

One could only hope...

Cadan's hand would run along the dashboard, hitting buttons here and there. A green screen would fling up as he pressed a button, he'd point to one of the pirates on board the vessel. "You! Get a lock on that ship, and if it makes a jump to lightspeed, track all possible routes!" His hands would full upon the main control stick, resting his backside in the chair we would begin to follow. At first making a small advance on the little ship, but the ship was too fast for the JT Asmodium.

"Try to disable her engines, or her hyperdrive." Cadan would bark to the pirates attending the other parts of the cockpit. "But keep her blasted ship intact!" He knew the command sounded impossible, but in the heat of the moment he thought he didn't have to make sense.

The barrels of the of the heavy laser cannons would swivel into action, the colourful projectiles leaving the barrels in the beautiful way they do. All heading towards the Stargoddess.

"Do we have a lock?" The question was spat towards the nearest pirate.

"A-a-a-almost sir." The pirates stutter making it hard for him to reply straight away. "We's j-just got to wait a-a-a f-f-few more sec-conds sir."

[member="Jen"]

Despite the silence of space, it was a hectic moment. The vibrations from her engines were felt as she sped away from her pursuers by all possible might, her hands grasping the steering in a sweaty grip, a smile still painted upon her face as she slowly gained distance from them. Yet, it only remained there for a fraction of a second more as a rather loud warning popped up on her interface.

“Unknown Ship locking on, firing! Enable evasive maneuvers?”

Jennifer’s grin disappeared in an instant, her grip tightening as she let her goddess fighter fly into a roll in an attempt to evade the barrage, yet all of a sudden, her entire ship shook, alarms sounding louder than before, indicating that she had taken a strong hit. She had no time to check what systems had taken damage; it was time to get out of there. 86%... She threw the entire ship to the left of her own and her pursuer’s flight path, angling her ship to fly above tatooine once the warp drive would be activated. She glanced to her right towards the JT Asmodium while her ship was in motion, another, two more shots being fired, shaking her ship once more, yet most of the damage got absorbed by her shield this time around. She glanced down towards her controls. 100%

Everything went silent, the silver fluorescence of space being warped emerged around her ship as she hit the warp drive, light expanded, the stars becoming streaks of white light, excitement and the feeling of triumph emerged in her, but then.

A loud screeching noise was heard as she too quickly, way too quickly reemerged only a few hundred meters away from where she had attempted to jump out of seemingly thin air.

Warning displays lighted up her entire canopy as sparks and smoke was released from a broken down console, the hissing noises of vents releasing gas was heard as well, she however didn’t have a long time to think about it, her remerging speed being very fast, she had to land and fast. It would be unwise to attempt another hyper jump in this condition and she certainly wouldn’t be able to go anywhere anytime soon without it. Her backup was too slow as well to escape these guys.

It was clear, Jennifer’s warp drive had taken a good punch before it was activated and it had malfunctioned. So with plummeting speed she headed for the surface of tatooine, the atmosphere instantly kicking back as soon as she neared the planet, her shields barely keeping the engulfing plasma flames at bay as she entered. Her ship fell, ducking under a couple of clouds, her ship almost uncontrollable as it with incredible speed rushed across a large desert, flying barely a meter above the surface, sand knocked up in its path.

Suddenly a sand dune emerged, spotted ahead of her, she didn’t even have time to scream, the very bottom of her ship skipping it as she attempted to steer up above it, throwing her entire ship out of course and into a deadly spin. It took only a second for her to crash into another pile of sand below. Everything went silent, how peaceful it was as the tiny, tiny rocks crawled over the windows of her ship as everything slowly went dark.

But she couldn’t be dead.. She couldn’t… Could she? kark, she hated this planet...

As he watch the projectiles hit the ship, excitement grew in his eyes. This was going to make a good pay, if of coarse she had survived. But then the ship began it's launch into hyperspace. "Get that ship down now!" Cadan barked, non too nicely to the closest pirate. But it was too late, the ship flew away, into the distance stars.

Cadan's fist would close, his knuckles cracking with an audible 'click'. "We lost her!? How did we lose her?" His fist would come down onto the control panel. A sudden green screen would pop up, a ship had just come out of hyperspace. Could this be the same ship? "Track that damned ship now!" The ship they were tracking was indeed Jen's Goddess. It appeared to be landing on Tatooine.

Cadan would steer the ship towards the Goddess. Following it's coarse down towards the planet. As they broke through the atmosphere, a small ship could be seen skimming across the ground, then all of a sudden it burst into a major spin, kicking up sand and debri.

"Where did that blasted ship go? You there, ping it's last know location on the map, now." With a few touches of the dashboard, a small dot would light up. Cadan would fly the ship towards the last know location, upon arrival Cadan would squint his eyes, scanning the area. "I don't see anything here." He'd say to no-one imparticular.

The JT Asmodium, would begin it's landing cycle. The engines throwing up dust and sand. The engines would hold the ship in the air, no fully landing, it would hover above the Goddess. The hiss of pistons activation would echo through the JT Asmodium, the gang plank folds out, and a rope would be seen being thrown off the side.

Down the rope Cadan would slide, followed by two pirates. Each pirate carried a sonic rifle and some form of close combat weapon, either a dagger in his boot or a small metal rod, they could be seen wearing small plates of durasteel armor clinging to their body by bits of thread. Cadan wore his ever present trench coat, under which could be seen some simple durasteel armor, with a few chunks missing in it. A DL-18 would be holstered at his waist, and a few wrist mounted could be seen on him. He wore a Raven Gauss Rifle, slung around his back. "I want you two to search from down here." He'd open up a comm going into the ship. "As for yous, see what you can see from up there. Let me know as soon as you find something."

And so the search began.

[member="Jen"]

Nah, she wasn’t dead, but she probably would have if she had hit a rock and not a sand dune. She squinted, groaning as she adjusted herself inside the star goddess, a faint emergency light barely making her able to make out the shape of the cockpit, casting a dim glow out across the instruments and herself.

She had taken quite the hit and knew already that she would probably get a bruise or two. Luckily, she had not broken anything at least… She sat straight up her seat, taking another deep breath as she glanced up towards the canopy of her ship, it being darkened by the layer of sand that had slowly fallen over the ship as it had sunk into the glass like sand of this arid region of space. She took a few minutes to slowly check the systems of her craft while trying to regain full consciousness after the dizziness the violent impact had created. She leant forward, fumbling a bit at the controls as she pressed down a button, it lighting up with a red dim glow. She had never used the long-range emergency beacon, but she damn sure hoped it worked now… Tatooine was after all no fun place to be stranded on.

It would be stupid to exit the ship now she knew that. The pirates or whatever the hell those people were could very well still be searching for her, such types rarely gave up so easily. Especially if they were bounty hunters, the thought settled in Jennifer as a tiny nascent idea, slowly growing, spreading subtle anxiety through her bones. What if they had been set there to kill her? Capture her? It was known that she was a part of the Red Ravens, but she had no major position of power, it wouldn’t make sense. She wiped some blue hair away from her sweaty forehead.

It was becoming boiling inside her ship as her cooling system had broken down. She did have food and water for a couple of days in here, but she would need to get some new air in here soon otherwise she would probably suffocate. After forty-five minutes of staying hidden, she could not take the heat that continued to build up anymore, not wanting to waste her EVA suits systems just yet she packed up her few belongings in her travel sports bag in case a whole lot of sand would crash down upon her. She pressed a button and pulled a lever to let the cockpit canopy pop open, the sand that had previously covered it thrown off.
Slowly Jennifer climbed out from her Stargoddess fighter, it being embedded in the side of a rather large sand dune. She squinted once again, covering her eyes this time as the sharp sun poked her, being of stark contrast to the darkness she had been hiding in before. She took a step forward, stumbling down the sand with a groan, landing at least twenty meters away from the front of the ship that had previously chased her, it having landed only a couple of meters away from where she had crashed.

Carefully Jennifer stood, her appearance now apparent to the Jackals should they spot her, which they undoubtedly would soon. From where she stood she reached around 1.64 meters into the air, wearing trousers that was baggy by the top and slim by the lower leg, various cases and pouches attached around the belt. With this she was wearing a rather expensive looking leather jacket and white tanktop, a gold chrono spotted every now and then around her wrist.

By her sports bag a helmet could be seen attached to it, the strap from the bag held in her grasp, obviously filled with her belongings she traveled with. She had made it custom to travel with it when traveling in her ship in case of emergency together with an iron skin armor weave suit worn under her clothes. A fact the jackals obviously wouldn’t have knowledge of.

She looked tired despite the panicked expression that currently filled her face, a large tattoo seen around her right eye in the form of arrows pointing towards it, her hair blue and of an above shoulder cut, stiff as if it had been sprayed one too many times with a hair spray. She adjusted the bag in her grip and with rather well finesse drew a blaster pistol from it, her hand visibly shaking as she backed a bit away from the large ship, spotting the trench coated Duros. “poodoo..”

The brigand was scanning over the sand dunes, when all of a sudden Jen stumbled out from her ship. Excitemnet grew in his eyes, this would definetly get him in the good books with Cadan. "Cadan look she's over there!" His voice was loud enough for a Tusken Raider to hear that was half way across Tatooine. The other brigands would begin to stir as they all squinted to lay eyes upon the young lady. Some began to advance but a voice stopped them in their tracks.

Character
Cadan's left arm was up at his mouth, he was obviously speaking to someone through his comm. "Cap'n, it's Cadan. The women has crashed on Tatooine. I will send you our coordiants, and keep you posted on what our progress is. Cadan out." He'd close the comm with the touch of a button, then his fingers would dance across the few buttons, sending their coordinants to Flannigan.

First it was the excited look of the brigand, then it was him shouting. Cadan would spin around on his heels, facing Jen. "Hold it right there men." He'd say as his men began to progress, and if somehow they didn't understand the message his hand would come up, as a universal symbol to stop. He'd begin to stride towards Jen, his tongue running the length of his teeth, finding some left over food and removing it, spitting it out with an audible 'pthu'. "Just where do you think your going young lass?" The words carried themselves upon the slight winds that were present.

[member="Jen"] [member="Flannigan Mcnash"]

Her eyes darted as if she was a rat in a corner, looking for any possible escape route that would actually guaranty escape and first and foremost survival. In the heat of it all it seemed like there was no viable options other than walking backwards, so that was what she did. At least she made a few stumbling steps, her blaster still held in her shaking hand, pointing towards those nearest until the Duros started to approach her.

Back in what seemed like a whole other life, a whole other existence she had once been taking care of by a Duros, a man she had looked at like a father only to be betrayed and left for dead. Old memories flooded her mind, filled it ill judgement, anger, sorrow and suspicion, her voice a bark as she yelled out towards them all, but the Duros in front of her in particular.

“S-Stay back! I mean I’ll karking shoot!” She yelled, her hand still visibly shaking yet it was pointed straight towards Cadan, her finger on the trigger. “I MEAN IT, STAY BACK!”

The desert planet of Tatooine, a planet in which Tugoro had been living on for a year now. Some of his most exciting ventures had occurred on this planet, from taking on the Shadow Empire in it's earliest form, to combating pirates on the dune seas. At least, the battles that had transpired in his past had seemed exciting at the time. Now, the young Jedi found himself silent and alone among a Tusken tribe, his body covered with their trappings from head to toe. Even without the blistering suns beating down on him, Tugoro found it hard to think clearly at times, his mind struggling to remember the exact reasons as to why he was here, among the tribe, as one of them. After happening across an old Tusken Raider outfit in the sand, the young Padawan had found it fitting that he return to the tribal ways of his childhood, when he lived on Kashyyyk. The old carefree lifestyle he had led long ago was one that Tugoro missed, though he had been in for a surprise after observing the Sand People's ways, and adapting to their guttural language.

It sure was a strange place for a Jedi to be, but the boy often found himself wondering if he even was fit to be a Jedi. He loved the thrill of helping others, it was second to none other than the heat of the battle, in fact. That was why he had gone undercover among the Sand People, to help those unfortunate enough to have fallen prey to their cruel ways. It was a difficult duty, but Tugoro had managed to stay unsuspected for the most part, having fought for "his" specific clan on many occasions against other Tusken groups. However, it seemed like another good deed would come from this day, as the Padawan's gaze lifted to the sky, laying upon a bright ball of fire. It rocketed across the expansive blue canvas that was the air, eventually crashing into the planet's surface not too far away. Seeing as he stood upon a rather tall rock pillar many meters up in the air, Tugoro's elevated sight allowed him to pinpoint the celestial object's location, what he assumed to be a downed spacecraft at this point. The lad could not help but think of his own super fighter, the Aleph, in which he treasured oh so dearly. It was one of the fastest and well equipped ships in the galaxy, one that would not be useful in this situation however. The Aleph had been stowed away long ago, remaining untouched as the Jedi lived among the savages.

Crouching down closer to the rocky surface, Tugoro's arms would extend as he placed his hands upon it, their palms lightly brushing against the rough texture. It was an environment that Tugoro had not been used to at first, though his body had eventually toughened up to the conditions in which he had lived. He was much stronger now, in mind and body, and that was saying something for the young seventeen year old. One for the credits, Tugoro began to think to himself, smirking a bit under the mask and bandages that covered his face, as his leading leg inched forward, slowly but surely putting him into pre-sprinting stance. Two for the show, he would continue, his arms actually lifting quickly as he shrugged off the backpack he wore, one that had been filled with heavy rocks. A strange way of training, mostly for show of course. Three to get ready, he thought, resuming his previous position. Tugoro would get ready to move, his eyes closing as he allowed the force energy within and around him to bend to his will. It would begin to flow rapidly throughout his body, empowering it's strength and speed, causing afterimages of himself to appear with even the slightest of movements, his body appearing to vibrate rapidly. And four to...

Go! Tugoro would exclaim inwardly to himself, his booted feet applying an immense amount of force against the elevated ground he stood on, causing his form to rocket off of the pillar's top, an outline of his body left briefly in his wake as he moved. The boy's descent would come to a quick end as he neared the sandy planet's surface, his feet slamming into it and immediately going into overdrive. It was essential that Tugoro get to the scene first, for he did not want any other Jawas or Raiders appearing to mess everything up. The young Jedi would move agilely across the surface, his foot steps light and near silent, each impact spraying sand particles in every direction. Lifting his gaze to the sky above, Tugoro would grit his teeth beneath his mask, having noticed the arrival of another ship that was approaching the wreck. A minute or two would pass, the Jedi having bolted it across the landscape, finally arriving at his destination. Looking to the scene only for a brief moment, Tugoro would begin to analyze what was going on, spotting three pirates and what seemed to be... Another pirate. Were they fighting each other for some reason? You'd think pirates would stick together, but no sir-ee. Lifting his arm quickly, the young boy would wave it through the air, his hand aligned and swiping across at the sonic rifles that the two crew members held. Applying his telekinetic prowess, the Padawan hoped to whisk the rifles out of their reach and over there heads, as he skidding down a curved sand dune towards the group. Hopping briefly, Tugoro would land audibly this time, tossing a few glances between the hovering craft and the damaged one. He'd have to figure out which one was the bad guy, though he had a sneaking suspicion as to who was who.

Still wearing his Sand People attire, Tugoro would turn to look at [member="Jen"], remaining silent and rather creepy as he continued to analyze what was going on. He was pretty slow in the head when it came to anything buy fighting, really. Finally, he would turn to look at [member="Cadan Tazi"]... Before looking back to Jen. Yep, he just couldn't crack this one. Someone was going to have to fill him in!

NPC
The rather loud pirate's weapon would fly up into the air and over his head. He had no control of it. He starggered around on the ground in an attempt to pick it up.
The other pirate was a little more lucky, he had his weapon strapped around him with a simple piece of leather, as the weapon began to fly up, it would be caught by his strap. He stumbled a bit as the weapon tugged on the strap.

Character
First he saw his men get flung about, then he saw the 'tusken raider' and sighed. Everything was going so well, now a force user shows up, it would seem that they were always sticking their dirty little nose where they didn't belong.
"Tarthek pick up your darn gun before our lovely lass over there decides to shoot you." His eyes would swivel towards Jen, he'd raise his hands acting innocent. "I promise that I won't come any closer, but it would appear that you have a very important decision to make. A, you run off into the dessert and either the sun or some savage kills you. B, you kill us and that little munchkin over there attacks you. Or my favorite, C, you come with us, we tow whats left of your ship and you to where ever you want to go in the vast galaxy?" He'd dance around and flick some imaginary hair intimating a women. "Oh no I can't trust you, blah blah blah." His face would suddenly become serious. "I grant you a helmsmen oath, that no harm will come to you when your travel with The Jackals."

[member="Tugoro Taidarious"] [member="Jen"]

The Jackals? Huh… Jennifer frowned, still obviously frightened and perhaps even more so when the Tusken Raider appeared. Even though Jennifer was not wizened when it came to knowledge regarding Tatooine she had during her brief stays heard rumors about these raiders and their fierce and barbaric life style.

Actually seeing once was in itself a weird and terrifying experience. Weird mostly because it seemed to be all on its own and also that from here it seemed to be unarmed. The barrel of her blaster changed aim between the pirates, Cadan and the Tusken raider until she finally decided to let it point towards Caden, judging him to be the most relevant threat.

She listened to him talk, her bag still held tightly in her other hand as she thought about what he said. If eyes were daggers hers would be sport, her glare cold, yet fearful. “So-..” Jennifer would start, stopping as she saw one of the pirates move a bit, a half step taken back as she swung her blaster towards him. “Leave that weapon alone! S-So what happened up there was just a surprise party, eh?! A joke? Why are you after me?!” Her voice was shrill as she yelled. Obviously finding herself in a tight spot, overwhelmed and bewildered. Uncertain how to react.
