Private Distant Plans

The Voidlight Cathedral crept out of hyperspace, planetary landing suite engaged as it made way towards the distant green planet on the edge of the outer rim; at order the crew had gathered hours before, the ship swept for bugs and spies alike by herself and apprentices. Those speculated to stand against herself, and those overly loyal to the Empire asked to remain on Iridonia as a precaution under the guise of providing the planet extra protection in the possible coming chaos. However the real purpose was to distance them from the plans to be discussed in silence.

Meditating in the temple Darth Morrow awaited their journey in complete silence, focusing on the energies of the force as wisps of dark power rolled off her form. In truth, her being was cast into the void, searching for an unknown target in the endless nothingness. It was only once the ship touched ground that Alexi disturbed the woman.

"My lady, we have arrived at the destination."Alexi had followed Morrow faithfully since she took the title of Lord, and she now stood showing that unwavering loyalty in the face of uncertainty in coming times.

Sulfuric eyes snapped open to view further darkness in the chamber, the room enveloped so deeply the only visible light cast was from outside, and the piercing yellow carving through it like a saber through flesh. Her current form was not all too different from her natural body, dark purple skin with deep black hair, two large horns sprouting from her forehead and ending in razor points towards the back of her skull; the rest of her was cloaked in dark robes pulled taut to her thin frame.

"Gather my apprentices and the commanders, tell them we will speak in the tomb below. And should any have second thoughts of where their loyalties lie, show them to Vexis in holding."

Without another word, the demonic woman made her departure for the burial site beneath the Cathedral, a bright moon casting light across the rolling hills and illuminating the entrance to the caverns below.

Steady footfalls echoed in just one of the near countless corridors of the ship. Cara was fascinated with the Voidlight Cathedral, having studied any systems that piqued her interest as she patrolled its vast halls. She hadn't found its core in person but was able to witness a glimpse of it through other, more specialized means. For all the brilliance The Lararium could boast, it bore potential to be a terrifying entity.

It was after her discussion with a crewmate about the ship’s generational systems when her comm unit chirped; She was to meet with her master on the planet below. Cara confirmed her attendance and was eventually corralled with others under Morrow’s tutelage. What this planet was called and what they were doing here remained unknown. While not a fan of unknowns, Cara invested a measure of faith into whatever the woman had planned.

“Perhaps it’s a battle royale,” Cara mused, I could expand the labs with the gained space.” While thought with more humor than seriousness she did raise a brow at the idea. Perhaps the latest hostilities of other Sith had been echoing too loudly as of late. She placed her hands behind her and continued a poised demeanor.

A tomb. Whose old bones rested here? Cara made note of the architecture as they maneuvered inward.

Upon seeing the horn-wreathed master Cara bowed at the waist, “Lady Morrow,” she rose again, “An intriguing location.” Better to hedge than to ask directly like a child eaten with curiosity.
