GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: The Dhord Buqari
  • Affiliation: The Sith Order (Sith Eternal subfaction)
  • Classification: Conscript
  • Description: Standing at near 8ft tall, these proud warriors hail from the T'Syriel people of Shiva IV. They were brought into the fold of the Bogan following Sith Eternal conquest on the planet, in support of the newly-born Inquisitorius. Minds touched by the artifact of Venn Kolis, the Alchemist's Eye, their devotion to the Dark Side is religious and steadfast.
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Unit Size: Large
  • Unit Availability: Uncommon
  • Unit Experience: Trained
  • Equipment:
    • Trained Dalgo. The T'Syriel favor cavalry combat, and use weapons that can be used while speeding on these loyal warbeasts.
    • Durasteel Pikes. Stabbing and cleaving weapon on a long haft, useful for mounted combat.
    • Vibro-longswords. Carried to ensure effective close-quarters combat against armored foes.
    • Cycler Rifles. Essentially using a blaster bolt to carry a high-density slug, this weapon is effective at very long-range.
    • Duraplast Plate Armor. Cheaply made, easy to repair, this lightweight armor is reliable against small-arm blasterfire, provided the shot is not point-blank.
    • Duraplast Riot Shields. Useful for blocking blasterfire while riding a Dalgo. Allow for defensive infantry formations.
  • Combat Function: Useful skirmishers and scouts, the Dhord Buqari primarily serve as riflemen to minimize loss, while still capable of CQB.
  • Force Abilities: Anyone discovered to be Force Sensitive among the Dhord Buqari would be swiftly promoted to grander assignments within the Sith Eternal. To these warriors, producing a Force Sensitive heir and presenting them to the Sith is the greatest honor one can achieve in life.
STRENGTHS
  • Marksmanship: For enemies seen at great distance on the barren dunes and plains of Shiva IV, T'Syriel warriors hone their accuracy with the humble cycler rifle. Though slow to reload, this lethal implement is capable of ending conflict in one shot.
  • Imposing Frame: Over 7ft tall on average, these are large soldiers who use their reach and strength to survive brutal melee ambushes in slot canyons and caves, where the desert allows predators and enemies to lurk out of sight until the last moment.
WEAKNESSES
  • Support Required: These foot soldiers utilize no transports outside of their Dalgo mounts. For fast deployment and long-distance travel, auxiliary forces must provide shuttle transport.
  • Undying Rivalry: In a fight, the Dhord Buqari fight as one cohesive unit. In their downtime however, those who once belonged to rival clans remember their bad blood, and sometimes cause unnecessary conflict within their own ranks.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Power changes everything. This is something the weak can never fully grasp, no matter how much they might pretend to. Only when one experiences the change that comes with being more powerful can they know the truth of strength. It is why the strong gravitate towards the Dark Side: because ultimate power promises not just security, but a life-changing epiphany. A new paradigm of existence.

When taking the world of Shiva IV for the Sith Order and its Inquisitorius, Dyyr T'Pada Dyyr T'Pada and Venn Kolis presented to the native T'Syriel the promise of epiphany. A promise that they chase in droves. Sith dogma burning in their blood, Sith capital buying their new arms and equipment, the Dhord Buqari stand eagerly, waiting. Waiting to give back to the Sith who opened their eyes. Waiting to chase ultimate power.
