Standing tall, his back straight and taught, clad in his Demon Armor, Penumbra awaited the people whom might just stop him from unleashing his full arsenal on the Fringe. Many could claim that they were dangerous, Zaiden truly was. At his call, he could have thousands of arms and droids arrive - or simply use the REX droids that patrolled many Fringe planets. Or Reanimated Undead for that matter.
In a few minutes, he could have a ship filled with a dozen zombies headed for every planet under the Fringes protection. What would happen to them then? Battling their own planets and men, could they fend off further invasions by those not so distracted? Single handedly, Penumbra could bring the downfall of the fringe.
But there were still a few that he was forced to think about. Morna was a close friend, even if it was in the form of a friendly rivalry. Zaiden had always felt a similar connection with Jared Ovmar, the young man being an amazing warrior that he was able to watch raise from apprentice to master and lord of the fringe itself. Then there was Ashin...
Plenty of people could make the error that Zaiden was attracted to Ashin or something similar, but in the end that had nothing to do with it - as well as holding little validity. She had given him a purpose when he first began his journey to power. Then when he fell to darkness, she held the lamp that lit his return. How about when she didn't laugh at him during his "I am a god" days? Varanin could easily claim the right to his being alive in numerous ways.
Could he cause such destruction, and risk harming them? That was why he had called them all to the little office building on Annaj they currently resided in. He would converse with them all, and then make his decision.
If it went bad, and he chose to attack, nearby were three civilian ships. All three held 10 undead each. They would be the beginning of the war he would wrought.
Resending the same invitation, the three would receive:

This is Lord Penumbra, I request that you meet me at the coordinates provided. My recent betrayal needs to be addressed, and I feel that my closest allies among the people would be best to aid me on that end. You know I am all to capable of making life hard for the Fringe. But I'm not entirely sure if I want that.
If you cannot make it, I understand and I hold no grudge to any of you.
