This is the second time I've heard, seen, or been thrown ya'lls DIRTY EFFIN GOSSIP because we're in a FULL SCALE WAR ON THE GOSSIP EPIDEMIC this forum just CANNOT FREE ITSELF FROM and it's the second time I've seen it in reference of derogatory remarks relating women, lesbians, and the Sith.

Now first, I'm a pretty comedic dude, so let me lead you off with a few steps in this process.

1. Please go listen to the hit #1 single, "Chaos Loves The Gays" by Tefka. I feel like it explains everything anyone needs to know.


2. I'm a straight white man in his 30's. A lot of you need to know that, I don't ask the internet why.

3. I'm also a lesbian lover, full blown. Some of the best people I know are gay. Some of the best parents I know are gay. I'm going camping with a gay dude next month and you know what, it's gonna get pretty gay, and we're gonna love it. But okay, let's stop the "I have a gay friend" narrative.

DM me screenshots of people making derogatory remarks about LGTBQ+, whether it be used in reference to a person or group of persons, and depending on the severity, they will be permanently removed from this community. At a minimum, they will face a temporary ban of 2+ weeks.

You got jokes...But the point stands. People say rank, deplorable things, because they feel like the environment is safe to do so. Why? Idk. But it takes a village to correct shitty behavior (or you dunking on them ig) and if people want it to get better the first stop is in their own yard.

I'm not sure what's been going on lately with all the drama, but in a way, I'm kind of glad I've been oblivious to it all. It's strange that such an announcement even needed to be made when it should be obvious given our current rules. But I guess some people just have to push the limits.

I guess I have been lucky in my time here in that I haven't seen too much of this kind of behavior. I became more aware of it after becoming faction staff, but usually it's taken care of rather quickly when it was seen, and I certainly have not gotten any DM's with such things thus far thank god.

Let me be perfectly clear though, my DM's (site wise and in discord) are a SAFE SPACE! They always have been, they always will be. So, if anyone at all has any issues with harassment about anything, especially on grounds of gender and sexuality, I am here and open to listening and helping if you need it! Asking for help or talking about this kind of thing can be very intimidating sometimes, which I totally understand. That's why my door is 100% open to anyone who needs it <3
