Depleted Baradium Slugs?

[member="Popo"] is your man I believe.

However, a cautionary tale. Star Wars is science fiction and when you depend too heavily on current science fact, even theoretical, you are going to get disappointing results. Worry less about the physics, within reason, and more about the story.

Did I seriously just write that?!

Anyone be having any ideas to what extent what materials such armor-piercing rounds are able to pierce ?

Answer: However much penetration the opposing writer decides.

Really just depends, honestly. Sometimes you get someone who knows a 12.7mm tungsten core round will punch their personal body armor. Sometimes you get someone who thinks their Jedi/Sith robes will stop a 155mm howitzer shell on a direct hit. All boils down to polite communication and measured hit taking.

Also note that in a universe where you have "inertia dampeners", any type of penetration (or lack there of) is plausible. You can use logic all you want, but don't be surprised if there are contradictions even in canon.
