"Reconstruction since the Sith occupation has been difficult. Setting aside our differences was difficult, and the peace is tenuous,
but the Council of Species has come far. Representatives of the Mon Calamari, Quarren, Whaladon, and Amphi-Hydrus all
in one room, governing together. Hopefully this will finally bring peace to the species of Dac.
And through their example, peace to the galaxy."
- Reconstructionist Meena Ackbar

It had been hard to bring Mon Cal-, Gial would pause before correcting his thoughts, Dac (as it was now called since Mon Cala clearly was biased to one of the four species of the planet) back from the recent desecration the sith had brought on the planet. Many had died, even now they weren't even close to erecting the final monuments to honor the countless dead. Reconstruction had been spear headed by a coalition between the Whaladon and Mon Calamari, yet their focus on Quarren and Amphi-Hydrus settlements first (as decided by Meena Ackbar a prominent politician at the time) helped soothe even centuries old rivalries. Certainly there was still tension between the Quarren and the Mon Calamari, but the Council of Species that now governed the planet was a unified world government of all species. This level of unity had seen an economic boom like Dac had never seen before allowing it to mostly recover from the strain of the invasion. Gial had personally overseen the reconstruction of Coral City however, and now as he walked the walls of the Capital of the planet he smiled faintly at just how far his world had come.

However, he always knew ever since when the Sith pulled out that they were not the only threat. Troubling stories from the eastern half of the galaxy troubled him, a horrific story at first, but then these monsters began to grow. Conquering planets, slaughtering worlds like the Sith attempted to slaughter Dac. When the first clashes with the Silver Jedi Order began Gial decided he would not wait until their ships were hovering over Dac before taking action. He had started the Commonwealth Project in the hopes of bringing order seen only in the Galactic Alliance or old Galactic Republic to the quadrant around Dac, but more importantly to secure the lives of the citizens of these planets. And currently the Bryn'adul were the greatest threat to that goal. He had called many times across many channels, both diplomatic and personal, that any who wished to push the Bryn back should come to Dac and join his little project. Slowly it had gained steam, even securing a small amount of funding from the Council of Species. They couldn't spare much, as most of their funds went to rebuilding cities and infrastructure. Yet it was enough to get a few small ships and a small standing force ready to be deployed to neighboring systems encase of Bryn invasion.

Today he was meeting with those who had joined his cause, a way to introduce himself and meet those he knew in name only as well as a way to coordinate the Commonwealth Project's members and decide which direction the Commonwealth should go. Stepping into the meeting hall, a large circular room with several large circular tables situated in the middle he would announce himself "Greetings! And thank you for coming on such short notice." He would gesture around the mostly barren room. The room looked to have been a meeting chamber to who ever could afford to furnish it. Now it was the official headquarters of the Commonwealth Project. "I apologize for the light furnishings. It's the best Dac can supply for now. Reconstruction is taking up most of their resources. Now, would you all have a seat so we can begin?"

This was just the sort of place Kahlil actually didn't belong. But here he was, regardless. The wayward Zambrano. His family brought ruin to Dac. The least he could do was try to help them rebuild. And help them survive the Bryn. That, and the Commonwealth Project was something he believed in. Not everyone was so fortunate to be protected by the Silver Jedi or the Galactic Alliance. Anyone willing to try and band together to protect one another were the type of people he wanted to help.

He stayed near the back, looking completely out of place. No formal uniform. Just a large jacket and some street clothing. He looked exactly like a Spacer, which was what he was anyway. He didn't sit, mostly so he could be asked to leave much more easily if that came to pass, leaning on the wall behind the group. He wanted to help, but there wasn't much he could offer.

This was the place.

The last time she was here was during the Sith Empire's occupation of this world. She remembered when the Alliance-in-exile came to help defend. She remembered the briefing where Coren Starchaser Coren Starchaser told her she should sit the fight out. She remembered when she confronted Taeli Raaf Taeli Raaf . And she remembered her inevitable fall to the Dark side.

She'd never been back here. But, this rush of memory and lost feelings were things she was quick to suppress -- it was in her past now.

Luckily Quill had taught her how to manipulate memories.

Her future involved so much more. Having gone through what she did here, and the coma, it was necessary for her to put herself behind movements that mattered. The Jedi Enclave on Jakku was moving forward pretty well, far more than she expected. Largely, there focus has been on the Bryn; it was the more pressing threat.

Plotting several excursions, and putting together several strike teams to go in the Wild Scar to find answers and solutions had been on their agenda. Romi made it their mission to help what diasporas that were dealt a huge blow in their genocidal wake.

Dac was a step in that direction.

So she was here, a Jedi representative, who simply wanted to help however she could.

"Good to be back in blue skies." Her smooth voice turned rough in the static of the comm as the RZ-2 A-Wing breached the atmosphere of Dac. "This is the Last Minute requesting hangar assignment..."

Few cities had the pleasure of dirtying Bo's boots twice, yet the floating metropolis of Coral City was the exception. The last time she'd arrived was when she was still learning to fly, Dac's oceans being perfect for mastering the art of overwater flight and learning emergency landings. From the nostalgia an ache of grief threatened to overshadow her arrival. While Dac had yet escaped the ravaging grasp of the Bryn'adul her home, Saleucami, had lacked such fortune. But still the threat lingered, the purpose for her coming to the water world in the first place. Though Dac had fallen from Sith occupation a greater threat sat poised to consume it, one which boasted an edge of finality. The cool streets of Saleucami's night markets were gone, the people who tread them erased from the galaxy's memory. Such annihilation would, some day, happen again-- this galaxy was chaos, and it was inevitable. But through a new Commonwealth the chance to keep that day, for any world in the east, would be delayed for long as possible.

Wit helmet on her hip Bo listened to the Mon Calamari speak. Admiral Goldarr spoke in a bright tone as he addressed the few gathered, and Bo cast a digital gaze onto all of them. At first there were only Dac natives, but soon she saw an Epicanthrix--short for his species. Her cybernetic eyes whirred as she narrowed her gaze, a reflex as she actually focused a more esoteric form of vision. Oddly, he had no signature in the Force. Not the same with being dead to it, but a bleak nothingness. Unsettling. Her stare lingered for a second longer before she noticed an aura light and cool radiating from a woman there. The woman was strong, but moreover she was...familiar. Bo couldn't place her face nor presence, and relegated any curiosity to the back of her mind.

Looking to Admiral Goldarr again Bo gave a firm nod then took the seat offered, a chair twice her age and more crooked than a Nar Shaddaa hovercraft salesman. It may have not seemed like much, but to Bo the humble seat would be worth more than the entirety of the Inner Rim if the Commonwealth prospered.

Unlike the rest of the attendees, Natalie was, both metaphorically and literally in uncharted waters. Hailing from one of her family's estates on New Alderaan, just a hop, skip and a jump from the serene oceans of Mon Cala, and the illustrious Coral city. For once, she was here not only out of personal interest, but also a desire to persuade her native planet's representatives to join the fledgling organisation to protect them from the unfettered destruction of the warmongering Bryn'adul. And of course to protect said estates. These facts she would keep to herself for now, however.

Maintaining a open posture, the pale skinned woman eyed the speaker as he began to announciate his apologies, nodding softly in acknowledgement. Tints of sulphuric yellow could be observed in the lady's eyes, glinting in the room's natural light as she stared forward, then breaking eye contact and observing the rest of the dignataries in the room. Keen eyes could spot right away that she was of vampiric descent, though the exact species was not yet obvious. Those trained in the force could probably detect a glimmer of energy, as she had abandoned feigning her true nature long ago. While she could sense other force sensitives in the room, her own waning connection to the force made it impossible to pinpoint any exact source.

Natalie had hoped to use her past as a cunning businesswoman and reputable Senator for the former state of Commenor as an innings to assist the Commonwealth in expanding their influence and gathering member planets, such as New Alderaan, to assist in their cause. The exact role she wished to take was undefined, but her days of direct combat were not far behind her.

After a quick shoulder adjustment, she simply nodded once more and waited for Gial to speak once more.

As his associates found their seats and gave him various nods of acknowledgement Admiral Goldarr would give a brief nod of appreciation. He himself would not sit, staying standing so everyone can see him as he settles his hands on the back of his chair. "To put it simply, we have a lot of work to do." his tone of that of amusement, seeming excited to finally get to work and lay down the foundation for the Commonwealth "The Council of Species here on Dac has been graceful enough to supply us with a few small ships, and a single main battleship. The Spirit of Resilience. A fitting name for our cause." He would take a deep breath before continuing "Our goal here in the Commonwealth Project is the unification of three main worlds. New Alderaan, Dellalt, and Dac, which as you can see already has an interest in the ideals of the Commonwealth. I personally believe that should these three worlds unify, our other less influential neighbors will seek membership of their own accord."

Turning to Natalie LaForte Natalie LaForte Gial would give a more personal greeting nod "Lady LaForte, I must admit you were not one of those I expected to see sitting at this table. But I am glad you're here, especially since as I understand it you hail from New Alderaan. Would you be willing to accompany the diplomatic mission to the planet in order to supply a friendly face?"

Gial had done extensive research on any intel he found regarding those he had invited to the conference. He needed to know his people, how best he could utilize them if they were willing. On that note Gial would turn to Bo Nadea Bo Nadea Romi Jade Romi Jade "Ms. Nadea, Ms. Jade-" He would greet with a nod to each of the women "From what I understand Dellalt has been dealing with a recent scourge of pirates. As much as I would love to send what few ships we have to deal with the issue I'd like to keep most of them on the ready encase of a Bryn'adul incursion. Would you two be willing to step in with the support of two of our frigates? I am sure some of the others here would be willing to join you, a small force lead by a Jedi and a skilled fighter pilot should be more than enough to deal with a some pirates with the orbital support of the Deliverance and the Ackbar."

Last but certainly not least Gial would face Kahlil Noble Kahlil Noble
"Mr. Zambrano.." He would pause, a hesitation as he remembered the devastation brought on his world by this man's family. Yet here he was, trying to help the planet rebuild. "I will start by saying I do not hold you accountable for the sins of your kin. And I look forward to working with you, particularly on a preempted strike on the Bryn'adul I am planning if you are willing?"

An incredibly nervous smile took over as he heard his family name dropped so easily. Kahlil never hid the fact he was a Zambrano, but he knew the name alone was enough to bring up old scars for anyone who was harmed by his Father or anyone else in his family. "I'm willing to help wherever I can. If that's what you need, I'll gladly help strike against the Bryn to save more lives."

He was late, oh boy

He slipped into the room and sat down at the far end of the table. The Grand Admiral was already speaking, bad timing, whoops. It was not usually Cruanless's style, but he had to make due.

He soon stood to acknowledge Gial, realizing that he should introduce himself to the others and reintroduce himself to Goldarr.

"Greetings my friends, I am Alliance Captain Cruanless Orcash".

"I apologize for my late arrival, some Sith pests in the Jomark system, hehe".
He chuckled and then noticed Kahlil Noble Kahlil Noble , a man whose family needed no mention. His grin dissipated, but he didn't confront the man immediately. Instead, he suppressed his hatred for the man's family, for now and he continued with his greeting.

"Admiral Goldarr, it is good to see you again". "Its been many years since Bimmisaari". He brought up reference to the Battle of Bimmisaari, which took place above that planet's surface nearly 7 years ago, just before Orcash joined the Republic or the Alliance, which ever you prefer, who knows what is was back then anyway. He hoped the Admiral would remember him, if not, well whatever. He had served under him for the majority of the battle. Regardless, he was one of his kin, and besides, Orcash was just so happy to be back on Mon Cala, without Sith warships overhead or Imperial troops upon the surface. He was here to fight, for Dac, for the Mon Calamari, and for the other species that called this world home. He had accepted the invitation as soon as he heard and had brought the Reverence along with a large escort fleet, full of volunteers and survivors. His third in command, Lieutenant Jagrall, had relayed to Alliance Naval Command that Captain Orcash would be going to Mon Cala, and that to not expect him back for a little while. He would return to the Alliance navy and the ongoing wars when he was truly needed. For now, he was needed here most of all, he knew it.

He had been so glad when he emerged from hyperspace and saw the beautiful blue circle that was his home. He had fought at the Battle of Dac, against the Sith and his ship was nearly destroyed before an Alliance Task Force arrived to provide cover and escape. Cruanless had refused to retreat, vowing to die with his beloved world, but was eventually convinced to withdraw. It still haunts him to this day.

His thoughts turned back to the words at the present, addressing this new Commonwealth of Worlds, as it was being called.

"I have brought my MC-75 Star Cruiser, The Reverence, along with 2 Nebulon-B Escort Frigates, 1 GR-75 Medium Transport, and 1 refitted Dreadnought-class Heavy Cruiser". "I have filled the crews with Alliance volunteers, survivors of the Bryn invasion who resided in the Core Worlds, and amounts of willing Nautolans, Selkath, and displaced Quarren". "As well as the Mon Calamari crewman of my ship".

He took a deep breath and then resumed his proud posture. "Dac is now free, and I intend to keep that way", said Cruanless, scanning the room quickly, then rested a angry scowl upon the Zambrano for a quick second, before turning back to Goldarr and bowing his head with respect. Cruanless now sat down and wished to hear what Goldarr had to say next, anyways, he had missed whatever he had said before he entered. But he would fight with Goldarr if that meant Dac was free and its people finally knew peace. Just as he thought of his world, a certain figure had come to mind, a former hero of his people, of Dac. He would wait until the end before bringing it up to Goldarr, or perhaps later, once he could speak with him alone. At the very least, with no non-Dac species lurking about while they spoke.

He leaned back in the chair and waited for his brethren to speak.

Home again for the first time in over a decade. Gam could still hardly believe it. When the aging Moff of Dubrillion had heard the news of a restoration effort by his people, he'd immediately volunteered his service. His official capacity was a New Imperial Liason to the Commonwealth, and he knew how people viewed the New Order. He was not here to warmonger... he was here in earnest, with a real drive to bring glory back to his people.

He came in with the second round of delegates, followed by a few other Imperial diplomats. He was surprised upon his arrival by the Quarren delegation. Instinctively, he gave them the cold shoulder. Perhaps the threat of the Bryn'Adul had made them regret their aid to the Sith when they ravaged Dac, but Gam didn't trust them. Not yet.

When the time came for him to introduce himself, hot on the heels of some big names like Jedi and former Sith. He himself had been many things: Pilot, Sith-Imperial officer, Mayor, and Moff. Such power in one room was a good sign, so long as the meeting remained cordial as it was now.

"My name is Moff Gam Kelgor of Dubrillion, Imperial Liason to this conference. I am glad to be back here in the city of my birth after so long. I sympathize greatly with the plight of not only my own people, but all the others in this region of the galaxy that have suffered at the hands of the Sith and the Bryn. When the war with the Sith Empire is over, I would see too it that the New Imperial Order supports this initiative to bring order back to the galaxy."

Following his introduction of the small Imperial delegation he took his seat and waited for the conference to begin...

Jyoti was another late arrival, having to play a game of galactic hopscotch between through Sith and Bryn space to get to Mon Cala. She arrived in the middle of Admiral Goldarr making introductions. Wishing not to make too much of a disturbance, she hung in the back of the pack, gathering bearings and taking stock of the current occupants.

Most of the faces were strangers to her, though she recognized all the Jedi in attendance, offering a tight smile in acknowledgement.

She allowed a few more people to introduce themselves before taking a turn, moving toward the front.

"Greetings, Admiral. My name is Jyoti Nooran, I've arrived here as an ambassador of my home government, the Kiribian Systems Union and Great River. We've already done some work in the Outer Rim evacuating all those willing, but we know this is not a viable strategy long term. At some point, the disparate members of the galactic community will need to come together against a true existential threat against life itself."

As horrid as they were, even the Sith did not want to rule a galaxy of the dead.

"The KSU is open to providing financial, logistical, and military support to the Commonwealth. Kiribian Systems Armory also has a large scale manufacturing facility on Mon Cala. It was originally built to provide equipment to the Galactic Republic against the One Sith and Mandalorians, then it was put to work for the Directorate and the Silver Jedi. When the Sith Empire took the planet, the facilities were abandoned, but not immediately scuttled in the hopes of being used by anti-Sith resistance groups later."

'Later' may have finally arrived, in the form of the Commonwealth.

"Fortunately, the Sith seemed to take little notice of Mon Cala after their xenocides, so everything seems to remain intact. That said, I'm not sure how long it would take KSA to refurbish the facilities, or if it's even possible to do so after so long, but at least we wouldn't be starting from scratch."
