I just caught this before heading off for the night. I had heard she had suffered a stroke, but I just can't...that sucks. I can't imagine what they're feeling, my heart goes out to Carrie's daughter Billie and the rest of the family. It has indeed been one hell of a bad week for them.

My heart really goes out to her poor family, a Mother and a Daughter in the same week after Christmas and before the New Year. This is too much for anyone.

An old adage my father used to always tell me. "A parent should never have to bury a child."
While I may not have the same level of emotional investment others have in these losses, I feel just as broken for deeply personal reasons.
