Bridge, Unyielding-class Command Cruiser Rebel’s Hope
Unknown Region, Inbound to Site Designation OMEGA

“Go,” Mazik said, drawing his Captain from his reverie and eliciting a surprised expression from the human’s face, “I don’t need to be a Jedi to know what you are thinking. You’re right, you can do more down there than you can up here.”

“Your confidence in my command capabilities is overwhelming,” Zark replied finally, unsure of what else to say and so content to fall back on sarcasm.

“You know that isn’t what I meant,” Stazi growled, the uncharacteristic act of understanding quickly giving way to his usual rage, “Alliance science divisions aren’t sure what exactly that thing is out here, but they knew enough to throw just about every ship they could muster on short notice at these Sith to stop it before it activates. If it does, it won’t make much difference which of us is in command up here.”

“You just want your own ship again,” Zark scoffed, a defense mechanism the Commander had grown to recognize emerged only when the Jedi had lost an argument.

“There’s also that,” Mazik said, grinning, and relishing the look of horrified surprise on his Captain’s face when the man realized the Duros was even capable of such an expression.

“Very well, I trust you Mazik,” Zark finally answered, staring the Commander in the eyes so he would know his words were not empty, before raising his voice so it could be heard across the bridge, “Commander, you have the con. Have my shuttle prepped and waiting for me with a squad of the best this ship has to offer. Arix, you’re with me.”

Surprised faces glanced at each other throughout the bridge, all save the cyborg third officer who fell into step behind Captain Pulsar as he headed for the turbolifts. Not for the last time, Zark felt ashamed. A part of him wanted to stay for a few more moments, to give a speech, to explain that he wasn’t running. But if he was going to trust Mazik to establish his own command discipline, it needed to start now.

“Hyperspace reversion in one minute, Commander.”

“Give me shipwide comms,” Mazik grunted as soon as the two Jedi were out of sight. As soon as his communications officer gave him the signal, he began, “This is the XO. By now some of you may already be aware that I have assumed command of the Rebel’s Hope, effective immediately. Captain Pulsar, along with our third officer and a team of our best trained men, will be joining the planetary assault with the ultimate objective of boarding, disabling and, if necessary, destroying that station.

I am certain that many of you by now have heard the rumors, and while I urge you to remain focused on the duties before you, understand that with the Captain travels all our hopes for final victory in this battle. We must do all that we can to afford him and others the time they need to complete their mission. May the Force be with them, and with us all, Stazi out.”

Nervous, muted applause broke out briefly on the bridge, and was quickly quieted with a renewed scowl from their new commanding officer. The Duros counted down the final seconds to hyperspace reversion in silence, steeling himself for what would likely be the ultimate test of his ability to lead under pressure. Time to prove everyone else wrong, everyone but Zark.

They dropped from hyperspace, and prepared though he had been by estimates command had made of their own forces, the sheer awe of such a vast array of radiant and terrible weaponry arrayed before them took Mazik’s breath away. The darkly comedic part of his brain mused that they better make him an Admiral if he got his men through this.

“Incoming message, Commander, fleet wide.”

“Let’s hear it,” he ordered, and as Ayden Cater’s voice filled the bridge he swelled with pride, commanding that the speech be relayed throughout the carrier. With Cater’s final call of action stations, the Commander knew it was time to get to work.

“You heard the man, form up with the rest of the 5th,” his voice boomed but he did not bellow, decades of elocution perfecting his tone, “Launch fighters, shields up! Helm, take us in at half impulse, and keep comm lines open with the Light of Ashla, I don’t want any delay in receiving new orders from Admiral Teros.”

“Aye, sir!”

Bridge, Indomitable-class Star Defender Light of Ashla
Unknown Region, Site Designation OMEGA

“All vessels, checking in Admiral.”

The Draethos, ancient by human standards at five hundred years old, stalked up and down the command deck restlessly. Eyes closed, breathing relaxed and exaggerated, Teros held no fear for his own death or doubt in the Alliance’s ability to prevail. The silent and fervent prayers he made to the Force were for the souls of the sentients on all sides who would not live to see the end of the day.

It gave him no pleasure to do this. His thoughts echoed through the minds of his bridge crew.

CIC, Tercel-class Heavy Cruiser Black Sword, in hyperspace

The faintest thrum of the ship's air purificators seemed to roar through his mind. Gir looked up the holo-tank to see if anyone else noticed it. Yet the rest of the crew seemed unperturbed by the sound as they quietly prepared for the upcoming battle. One of them returned his gaze before she turned her attention back to her console. Gir spared a glance at her still somewhat foreign uniforms before turning his eyes down to the holo-tank. His eyes idled on the map, watching the ethereal icons of warships transverse through the depths of the black ocean, yet his mind was far away from the navigational charts. Some things change. The uniform, the people, the ships. And yet so much of it remains the same. He suppressed the urge to clear his throat as a broad chested man joined him at the holo-tank's railing.

"Did they figure it out?" asked Gir.

The ship's captain nodded, "Minor readjustment to the alluvial dampener servo-motors fixed it."

Gir absently nodded. The quintet of Tercel cruisers that made the bulk of his fleet's firepower were fresh out of Hast's shipyards. While the new technology built in them would make them more competitive against their foes, they also had brought some teething problem to light during their voyage to the destroy the Omega superweapon. None of the malfunctions had been major, yet their occurrence had not helped Gir curb the tension he felt about facing the rumored technological monstrosity. If the weapon was as powerful and dangerous as it was said to be, not only would it be a danger in and of itself, but it would draw plenty of dangers to it as well. That was perhaps what worried the man the most, yet he at the same time, he knew that he could not simply stand by and hope for the evils to wipe themselves out. His eyes settled on the route's end point, which the fleet of ships was rapidly approaching. We'll have to play smart if we are to survive this. He felt his stomach contort slightly as his mind lingered on that thought.

"Reverting in one minute," chimed the ship's aging navigator.

Gir kept his eyes glued to the holo-map. The second the ship's sensors had information in realspace, he imagined the entire overlay of the holo-tank would flood with the visages of vast armadas and countless numbers of strike craft. A wave of light rippled across the holo-tank as he felt a momentary shift in gravity underneath his feet. His expectations were not disappointed by the assembling host of warships. He felt his stomach rumble as his eyes settled on one of the rogue One Sith warships. This will be blood bathe. On his formation's right side, Gir could see the starships aligned with the Galactic Republic under [member="Charzon Loulan"]. But to his left, Gir could not keep track of the numerous allies from the Galactic Alliance, the Silver Jedi, the Republic, and other like-minded organizations. We have the right flank then...Gir began to consider his options as ships continued to pour into the battlefield

Faction: Mandalorian Clans
Subgroup: Clan Dem'adas Navy
Formation: B'alor Dem'adas Tra'akaan'ade
Commander: Rygel Larraq (under a false name)
Fleet Size: 9,820 meters

Rygel Larraq's armored butt sat squarely upon the chair of Olivia Dem'adas aboard the flagship of both their clans. Loosely held between the fingers of his left hand, melting ice shifted and clinked against the clear glass that held his bourbon. In his right hand, a straw.

Larraq wasn't a fan of big, clunky ships like Star Destroyers and Dreadnoughts. He liked small, fast ships that were capable of getting in and out of danger as the need arose, yet just large and durable enough to survive the actual fight. The only reason he bothered to manufacture them with Mandal Hypernautics was because he could charge obscene amounts for each one, and smaller-minded people seemed to love them.

Sighing slightly, Larraq shifted uncomfortably in Olivia's chair. On Olivia's ship. At the command of Olivia's personal battlegroup. <This is stupid.> He thought to himself as the small fleet raced through hyperspace to rendezvous with the war-fleets of the other clans. <Any idiot can destroy a planet.> He thought to himself as his hands came together to bring both the glass of bourbon and the straw next to his face. A moment later, and he was sipping bourbon through the fluid induction port of his helmet. <It's not even that hard.> Larraq thought as he pulled the straw from his helmet and placed the glass of bourbon on the left arm-rest of the command chair. <Get a calculator, find something really dense, strap some engines to it, and make it go really fast. Done. Planet destroyed.>

<But nooooo.> Larraq continued ranting in his head as he stood from the chair and walked towards the primary holodisplay. <Uppity Sith have to make things complicated. Rocks aren't good enough for them. They had to go and make a really big pile of space-junk and strap a really, really, really big laser to the frelling thing.> He thought as he held out a hand to the holodisplay and swatted to the left, sending the holographic model of the Sith Superweapon spinning rapidly on its axis. <And of course, Olivia feels threatened by large, mostly cylindrical objects in space that are bigger than her large, mostly cylindrical objects in space. So I get my sheb plucked off of Zeltros, yanked from my vacation, and thrown at the largest over-rated, over-priced, and over-complicated example of over-compensation the galaxy's seen in a hundred generations.> Larraq silently ranted with clenched fists.

A moment of regretting leaving his bourbon with the chair later, and Larraq rocked forward slightly as the massive Alor-class Dreadnought returned to realspace. Larraq closed his eyes, took a deep breath and sighed it out as he squared his shoulders against the coming onslaught of idiocy. Opening his eyes, Larraq stared at the holodisplay and waited. Some would take the opportunity to make some grand speech about the nobility of their efforts, the significance of the threat they faced... But Larraq didn't care enough to bother with such actions. This was the Navy of Clan Dem'adas. Alor Dem'adas had ordered them to come to this system, destroy a single ship, and murder any living thing that got in their way. What they were to do here today was that simple and needed no further explaination. The Mando'ade of Clan Dem'adas would fight because their Alor had told them to. "Begin active scans." He said without turning his attention from the holodisplay. A single ping reverberated through the hull as the sensors of the Alor-class Dreadnought burst to life at full capacity.

"Well Sh17." Larraq said aloud, slipping past the SWChaos profanity filter as dozens, if not hundreds of positive contact icons illuminated the holodisplay like a constellation over the snow-covered world. "Get this tub moving!" Larraq nearly shouted as he leaned against the base of the holotable. "Ahead flank, zero-by-zero. Escort formation to match speed." He added as his eyes darted from one contact icon to the next. It would take time for the computer to process this much information. Not a lot of time, but far more time than Larraq was comfortable spending sitting still in a ship as large as the Alor, in a system as densely populated by warships as this one apparently was. Direction, heading, battle-plan, and all other specifications could wait... Right now they just needed to move.

<They can't all be Sith.> Larraq thought to himself as he tried to analyze the grouping of contact icons. The spacing, the clustering... none of it would make sense if they all belonged to the Sith.

His hunch would be proved right as the holodisplay updated itself. Slowly, far too slowly, individual ships were identified as the Dreadnought's computers started to make sense of the mess of sensor data. Each time the computer positively matched a signature against a recorded ship classification, entire swaths of display icons were replaced with holographic representations of individual ships.

<Republic... Sith... SSC... Omega Protectorate... Galactic Alliance...> Larraq thought as dozens of different ship classes were identified. <The spreading makes no sense.> He continued to himself before a moment of clarity simplified the situation. Whatever intel Olivia had stumbled upon, she clearly hadn't been the only one to get it. Larraq had no idea which ships belonged to what legitimate or illegitimate organization, but he knew enough to recognize the situation. Primary targets were holding position in front of the Omega. Those had to be the renegade group of One Sith... Far to the opposing side, more Sith ships moved towards the Omega. Either as reinforcements, or as an opposing group fighting to secure or destroy the Omega. <Doesn't make a difference.> Larraq thought to himself. The Sith had always been, and would always be the greatest threat in the galaxy. Like cockroaches, they always crawled forth from the dark corners of the galaxy... And always they sought to control or destroy the sons and daughters of Mandalore.

And on the far side of the battlefield, some sort of Coalition that Larraq knew nothing of... The Republic meant well... even Larraq knew that much. But he was not fool enough to trust them. Not after the years of political and military blunders and outright failures that had time and again compromised the western borders of the Mandalorian Territories.

<Fine then.> Larraq thought to himself.

"Message the other Aliite fleets." Larraq said aloud, a dark annoyance creeping into his voice. "Stand by for target prioritization." Larraq's fingers were a whir of activity as they danced across the holodisplay inputting fresh orders for the ship's computer. Broadly speaking, the renegade sith fleet and ships to their port were Secondary Targets... the "other" sith fleet of ships to their starboard were also Secondary Targets. And all other ships, including those of the coalition fleet on the far side of the battlefield, were Tertiary Targets.

Pressing a button, Larraq began broadcasting his voice to the three other clan fleets that had arrived to deal with the Sith threat. "If there isn't a Mythosaur Skull painted on it," Larraq said aloud. "Then it is our enemy. Primary Target is the Omega. Everything else is Secondary and we will destroy anything that gets in our way. If it gets within three battlefield units (Hex) of your position, light it up." Larraq paused for a moment as his eyes drifted towards the small cluster of non-Mandalorian frigates that were neither Sith nor Republic in origin. On a whim, Larraq adjusted their contact markers to friendly. "Except for those poor idiots. I have no idea why they're here, but they can't have taken enough Striagra to think shooting Mandalorian Dreadnoughts is a good idea. Ignore them for now."

Removing his hand from the control console, Larraq turned his back to the display and began walking back towards his bourbon and chair. "Quarter-turn to port. Put us on a collision course with the Omega and floor it. Override safety protocols on the reactors and set for maximum burn." He said aloud with a disturbing calm and indifference.

Round 2

Admiral Jol Kallak

The fleets were arriving. Many were heading into the centre of the battlefield somewhat, but one particular fleet was acting with reckless haste.

Commanding the 2nd Immortal Command was Admiral Jol Kallak, a seasoned soldier. His scopes and scanners saw the Republic fleet coming towards him and firing on his two Destroyers.

The fire though was mainly ineffective. Some shield damage, certainly, but nothing more. Firing with carriers and frigates at such range at Destroyers was a losing proposition.

The Admiral grinned. It was time to show these Republic fools why they had lost so often and so badly.

“Praetor and Imperator, open fire with all batteries at the Republic carrier (Mateus). We will give that ship fire too. Spite and Scorpion, teach these Republic fools not to trespass on our time.”

The Immortal had many downsides, downsides the Republic had exploited at times. Attacking one of them with a slow carrier was going to do nothing but expose one to ruin. Its 100 heavy long range turbo and 100 heavy long range ion cannons along with a proton beam were good at wrecking ships.
The Dark Blades and Invidias were long range experts, both boasting some of the most formidable armaments in the galaxy. The Wrryloks themselves were not slouches, having 35 ion and 25 turbo long range heavy weapons, as well as dozens of other heavy weapons.

It was safe to say that the Mateus, even at this range, would be uncomfortable.

Natasi Fortan was beginning to think that involving herself in the Omega attack was a mistake. It wasn't that she was frightened, although she was, in fact, terrified. It wasn't even that she was a novice to naval leadership, and a fight for the survival of millions was an inopportune moment to learn the ropes, although all that was true. No -- Natasi was concerned that her presence, in the powerful yet distinctive Concordia, painted a target on the First Order fleet as clear and as bold as the red stripes on her flagship. If the other galactic powers in the fray decided that taking down the Supreme Leader's head of government was too good a chance to miss, then the rest of the First Order forces, which might have survived, would go down in a blaze of glory before letting her die.

But it wasn't certain death, for her or her people. They would suffer casualties, of course they would, but they didn't need to be catastrophic. They had some advantage, at least, in the form of Concordia's secret weapon -- a Sith Meditation Sphere, under the control of [member="Avicus DuSang"]. The Admiral was an accomplished practitioner of Sith arts, and as an Equilibriate, she was never one to approve, but she couldn't allow her religious beliefs to interfere with the strategies and goals of the First Order.

Not now. Not when the stakes were this high.

The Grand Moff stood on the bridge, at the command display, monitoring the telemetry that was coming through the displays. She opened a channel to the rest of her battlegroup. "This is Fortan, all lines report in."

"Defense Line, standing by," called Commodore Grantham, gruff and determined over the communication line.
"Battle Line One, standing by," came the clear, feminine voice of Commodore Shackleton.
"Battle Line Two, standing by," was the response from Commodore Flintshire, boy wonder of the Dosuun Naval Academy, a commodore at only aged 30.

"Stand by for reversion to realspace, on my mark," Natasi said clearly. Anyone would think she wasn't scared very nearly out of her wits. She flicked the channel over to to [member="Avicus DuSang"], who was preparing to take control of the Sphere. "Admiral, is everything in position?"

When things had been settled with Admiral DuSang, Natasi stepped forward and placed her gloved hands on the edge of the command display, her back bending only a few degrees as she studied the fleet readiness reports, switching the channel over to address them all again. The timer at the center -- counting down the minutes and seconds until they entered the battle arena -- was rapidly turnining from blue, to green, to yellow, to red, until Natasi was forced by time and fleet procedure to announce: "Mark!"

The First Order fleets were arrayed out in front of the Concordia's viewports, and beyond that, the monstrous weapon say behind defensive rows of Sith vessels. Scanner data told her that there were fleets to the left and right, as well.

It was more ships than she had ever seen in her life. It was more ships than, she thought, anyone in living memory had ever seen at one time. She was momentarily stunned, but quickly regained her wits. "Execute Hold Pattern Epsilon," Natasi ordered coolly. "Admiral DuSang, now is the moment." She looked up from the map, with its representative figures, to the viewports as she watched her ships take position.

Nebula Fleet had arrived.

There was something awe-inspiring in seeing so many different regional powers come together in recognition of a threat greater than any other. Though it was, perhaps, too early yet to say that they were all willing to cooperate with one another in the face of this great threat. There was a great deal of bad blood between the Mandalorians and the Republic. Relations were not as good as they could be for the Galactic Alliance and the First Order, calling into question how their ships would react when forced at this close range. What would happen if one should be destroyed by an accidental shot from another?

That question was going to get answered soon, but some element from the Republic thought that it was a smart to move a support carrier group into range of the enemy before anything else. He knew well the power behind some of the One Sith designs brought against them. If he had a line to the Republic forces, he might have given them some very colorful words. Instead he swiftly executed an order for his vessels to move into an attack formation. It seems the first shots had been fired; now it was time to dance to the Devil's Song.

From the top of one wing, several recessed bulkheads slid away, allowing the main gun battery to move into firing position. Set on the farthest edge of the ship, each bank in the battery was comprised of eight quad turbolaser cannons. Armored and secured, the main battery did not have much room to swivel. However, its main purpose was not to be fired in close ranges, or even standard engagement ranges. Targeting computers fed data in for gunners and the firing computers to select a target. Each barrel began to glow as energy was dumped from the massive capacitor banks. The first viridian shot blasted out, atomizing any bits of space particulate that were floating about. Dozens more turbolaser bolts fired, each streaking forward towards the same target cluster. Some would hit true. Others would be intercepted by other vessels, while other shots would miss their target as engines flared to life.

But the Spirit did not stop there. Deep within the Star Dreadnought, there was a resounding crash as a massive weight was loaded into place. Electromagnets larger than many starships began to whine as they charged. The charge within grew greater and great until at last the slug was torn free and began to rocket down the barrel. By the time it blasted out, it had reached a truly dizzying rate of acceleration. Yet again, it was not alone in its journey as more weights were volleyed at the Rogue Sith fleet.

Flanking the Spirit on either side, the two Noble-class Star Defenders were not content to simply guard the great vessel. Their own heavy Javelin cannons charged before volleying three-round bursts. As the excess charge was dumped, dozens of brilliant balls of light began to dot their hulls. Gases were rapidly accelerated within an intense magnetic field until the energy generated ignited the clouds into balls of fusion plasma. At the peak of the charging cycle, the magnetic fields were allowed to collapse in a contained manner, vaulting the plasma towards the Rogue Sith at near a fifth the speed of light.

Most of the targeting solutions were input with the hope that if the desired target were to move, they would impact another vessel. Perhaps even Omega itself. Hopefully they arrived in time to destroy the weapon before it was operational. If not... This battle might very well be shorter than they had all planned.

KNight was looking at it all, things were picking up in a bad way as she was looking at a fleet rush past them. Not even prepared with the others like a battle group but staying at it when she went over the different things. It seemed prepared to go and rush the rogue sith fleet that was there while she was prepared and looking at the others. Seeing the massive station that would be the main bulwark of a ship attacking everything before she breathed in. "Hold position with the fleet and start running scans to go and get the damage that was being done as she spoke. "Ah whatever might happen, prepare repair crews for moving and see if we'll be abel to get them over to those ships quickly." They might not be able to save the ships but they could try and offer aid but the real challenge was going to be with the others. "We have the maps needed but I am unsure what we will be abel to do now, move the Gen'Dai to the front and position ships within support roles. I want the Seigar off sending information to the ships and in a reserve role to move quickly." THey acknowledged as the small ship was moving off into space quickly. THe Nirvana was cloaked with all systems engaged to avoid the dangers when she looked over more. "Second goal is to start marking priority targets, those immortals are strong but they are not invincible. Tag them for the rest of the fleet and when they get within rang send a wing of reapers to target their engines and weapon systems." She got nods of acknowledgement for the attacks as she was ready.

Ships turned to face Rogue Sith Fleet and did some shuffling.
Deployed Fighters in hex in front of Line.

Sensor feeds continued showing up on view screens and Rach sighed as he saw what was happening. It was a big, nasty ball of Sith ships alright and the Mandalorian forces weren't about to tackle this one alone. Rach would do his part, but he had the sinking feeling that thousands of vod wouldn't be coming home at the end of the day. It was in their nature to charge straight into the jaws of the enemy and come out on top, the old man knew as much, he had been that way once. Six decades walking the galaxy had taught him some restraint over the years. There was bravery and courage in death, but it was still the end. Still death.

The ships dipped upwards, just above the other Mandalorian fleets between them and the Rogue Sith so that they could fire without worrying about butchering through a straggling starfighter. "Remember our non-aggression agreement with the Galactic Alliance, make sure the other Clan Commanders are aware, and focus on the Omega and its support. We will worry about the others when it comes to it. Deploy fighters in a front screen of the formation. Keep what is able to using their dedicated energy receptor projectors until further notice. I don't want the Sith getting accurate data on what is where." Even with the aid of the Galactic Alliance, there was still the First Order to worry about, but, given the circumstances, Rach was more than happy to let them be until they became a clear and present danger. Fighting two outnumbering forces on two fronts was not a battle strategy he looked forward to.

"Alright." His voice rang out across the bridge. "About face and let's gun these bastards down." The bridge crew, all Mandalorian-born didn't nod, didn't cheer, they just began going about their many duties issuing orders throughout their ships. Orders were sent via close beam transmission to other ships, to avoid broadcasting them over the holonet, and to attempt to keep the Sovereign's signal register down. "Keep us at arms length and keep signal distortion active. We can't slug it out with some of these things." Can't, but likely they would be forced to in the end anyway. Wyyrlok-class Destroyers was something Rach knew well, Draco having owned two in the past, or maybe he still had them on ice somewhere. They were big and dangerous, and as far as armament went they were a Sovereign on steroids. Where they faltered was utility, which Rach's big ole girl was made to capitalize on. Sensor masks and baffled drives worked to distort the Sovereign-class's signal registry, to make them more difficult to strike accurately at long range. Close range, had basically no effect, hard to miss a star destroyer.

The massive Hypervelocity cannons of the Sovereign-class lined up on their targets alongside their other long range weaponry and began barking out fire in continuous long streaks of hyper-accelerated rounds. The vibration could be felt, very subtly from Rach's boots as the weapons unleashed their torrents into the Rogue Sith ships. He sighed deeply and watched the three trios of fire streaking through space, the Sovereign using is maneuvering thrusters to move around some to throw off return fire. Electronic warfare nodes turned on to those targets as well.

"Tell the Commonwealth frigates that they are gonna be most useful hitting the Sith frigates when they can in support of Horak and Larraq. They cover us, we will cover them." Rach leaned back and cracked his neck. It was going to be a long day of this.

Around them, the Keldabe-class Battleships loomed, unable to strike their targets at this range, but standing guard instead. The Guardians behind them rested, revving their shield projectors and transfer arrays. They were going to get a work out in the near future, but as this would be the first major engagement they were to be used, they would be a nice trump card for Rach to play. And, funnily enough, the Keldabe, Sovereign, even the Alor were equipped to receive their bountiful gifts.

The Galactic Alliance Captain watched the screen as the group's formations were moving further to extend the lines that were beginning to face the Rogue Sith Fleet elements. He was painfully aware of the First Order's position behind them, but the rest of the Fourteenth Fleet understood to remain wary. Steer clear of their fire. He, personally, held no ill will for the Imperials, in fact, he respected them. Imperials were efficient in all things that they did. His information on the First Order was limited.

Careful, he would be nonetheless.

"The other fleets are moving into position to engage the Rogue Sith Fleet, Sir."

"Yes, we'll do the same. Keep the Advanced Line covering our rear." The original plan had been to drive forwards while the closer of the Alliance, Republic, and Silver Jedi navies engaged the Rogue Sith, and then the Fourteen Fleet would swing around to fire upon their ships that weren't yet under fire. It would've stretched his forces thin. Suppose he should've been glad he needn't do that anymore, but it just left another element to take note of.

"Move our line forwards. Bring us about to face the Rogue Sith. Bring up the targeting analogues."

And the orders went through. The Horn-escorts followed the Audacity. Flanked on either side, they had limited long-range capabilities, but the javelins that they did have? Plenty of damage when firing down the line.

Orders had been sent, the hypervelocity cannons on both the, Remember Tython, and Akk Jaw, were being powered up as they began their rotations to face the Rogue Sith fleet. On the other hand, the Audacity, was already turning into position. "Fire everything we can at their ships already being targeted! They'll crumble under the focused attacks." At that, the baradium warheads were launched. Thirty missiles for the Rogue Sith ship, (Praetor), long-range dual turbolasers, long-range dual ion cannons, and even long-range singular turbolasers, all for the one target. Advanced targeting systems made the Audacity a powerful ship, capable of dumping firepower at long-ranges, though he, Jax, that is, suspected there would be a return of fire soon enough.

The Advanced Line continued down their same path. They were going to eventually align themselves with the rest of the Fourteenth Fleet while they fired their long-range weapons.

On the other hand the Picket Line was to move between both the Command Line and Advanced Line. Its end goal was to have its starboard and port sides prepared to fire on either the Imperials, or the OMEGA'S defenses.

The Support Line was to follow the Command Line.

Ripping its way back into reality on shrieking engines, the Leviathan burst into existence with a distant flicker of pseudo-motion. As the azure tunnel of hyperspace had collapsed and the stars began to stretch back into their orderly orbs, the massive behemoth shuddered imperceptibly as the relativistic shields had crackled and faded, bringing the impossibility of sound into the darkness of space. In place of the transitory barriers that held the vessel together during their tumultuous transit, kinetic generators along the Star Defender’s belly and backbone groaned as they were roused from slumber. Once cycled, their activation charged the nothingness about the titanic vessel and brought the primary shields into being. Along the armored flanks and smoothed battlements, domes opened with a quiet rattle, and blast shields lifted from gunports as rank upon rank of energetic cannonade jutted out of their housings. The arcane drive that had gifted this colossal warship with Lightspeed had begun to power down relinquishing its hold over the vessel, allowing it to be piloted through sublight by its physical engines. With the reversion complete, the ailing hyperdrive had disengaged its safety protocols, which had surrendered control over the Leviathan back to the Command Deck. It was there that hundreds of enlisted officers had secured themselves within their thrones, bathed in the flashing lights of a battle stations alert. Smaller craft had decanted from hyperspace behind the Leviathan, filling its wake with a flotilla of hungry iron children. Like their sire before them, their relativistic shields faded and were replaced by the faint aura generated by their deflector arrays. The destroyers and escorts burned their engines harder and hotter than the gargantuan battleships, powering ahead to establish the first semblance of a staggered battle line.

When the momentum that had carried them from the point of entry fading, the vessels of the Thirteenth Expeditionary fleet had begun to slow their relentless advance, sweeping the battlefield with an incorporeal eye as the ignited fires within their engines began to simmer. Gathered by their sensors, the informational data was then translated into a holographic representation of the operational theater, pinpointing the locations of various fleets bearing a multitude of identification pennants from their signaling transponder masts. It had taken seconds longer than the Fleet Admiral had liked to see the entirety of the battlefield materialize before her, but what was one to expect when such numbers rivaled - if not easily surpassing - the ancient recorded data from the tumultuous Battle above Endor? Even the most advanced sensors would take seconds longer to process the sudden influx of data, and that alone was a fact that slowly began to gnaw at her. As void warfare was a thinker’s war, she had resolved always to be a step ahead of her enemy - guessing their move before they had even made it, which in turn would lead to a counter attack set in motion a mere heartbeat after their foes had acted. With this slight delay in the flow of information, it became infinitely harder for her to defeat the enemy by using their tactics against them. Here, she would have to play it safe.

Then that’s when she heard him. The legendary figure that once hounded the stars as a Master of the Protectorate - the very faction whose former Flagship she now commanded from - had begun his uplifting speech. She would’ve joined in, but as she listened to his words and those that flooded the comms thereafter, Astarii felt like she’d be doing nothing more than inspiring her spirited subordinates with idle banter and repetition. Speeches, when used in excess, stoked the fires of incompetence. To the Hapan, she knew that wasting precious moments of time was a cardinal sin on the battlefield, and was merely a cantrip devised by the HoloNovels of her youth to add dramatic flair to a dire situation. Nevertheless, when the Legend had finished speaking and severed the encrypted fleet-wide transmission, Astarii smiled. “Righteous fury indeed,” She had muttered beneath her breath. “Ma’am?” An officer nearby had asked, clearly mistaking her near-silent words for a command. “Nothing,” The woman lied, before dismissing the Deck Officer with an impassive wave of her hand. “To your duties Ensign.”

As the sluggish display had finally managed to compile the queried data, the Fleet Admiral’s augmented eyes whirred to life, betraying her excitement with how wide they became. It seemed that in its death throes, the One Sith had managed to produce an apocalyptic weapon capable of mass-extermination and the wholesale destruction of worlds in secret, whilst they fought a losing battle against the valiant forces of the Federation. She could only imagine the resources it would’ve taken to construct such a monstrosity, let alone what powered both the station and the mysterious weapon within. Brushing such thoughts aside and focusing on the massive armada blocking their ingress into the Castameer system and reaching the doomsday device, Astarii let out a smile whistle of amusement. So this was where the rest of the One Sith Fleet had retreated too, She mused. At least now her agents in Naval Intelligence could put that conundrum to rest. Immortals, Wyyrloks, plus a plethora of vessels that acted in support. If anything, it was to be a target rich environment.

With the overview of the battlefield complete, Astarii began assessing the viability of various stratagems she had at her disposal, all the while allowing her eyes to be everywhere at once. Through this method of command, she was able to garner information from a myriad of sources and apply them to her plan of attack, molding it with the apparent advances made by her allies and their naval elements. Without missing a beat, she activated her microbead and swept her hand over the western portion of the hololithic display. “Gunnery control,” she said through her headset, allowing her regal accent to ooze through the curvature of her lips. “Acquire targeting solutions on the nearest Immortal, transponder designation ‘Jotun.' I want it dead within the hour. Adhere to the standard firing protocols, and utilize the long-range Ion batteries to whittle down their shields before cooking off a salvo of Javelin rounds, followed thereafter by a barrage from the prow Mass-drivers.” Silencing the channel after hearing the Weapons Master respond with the words of acknowledgment, she shifted her attention towards the Leviathan’s impressive tri-hanger and the pilots that swarmed the flight decks within. They were already scrambling without her having to give an order, to which her earlier smile had slowly peeled back into a pearlescent grin.

Thus, with her house in order, the Fleet Admiral began turning her attention towards the remainder of her fleet, who were forming staggered arrowheads as they oriented their blunted prows the enemy armada, and danced about the formations taken by their allies. While it was far from ideal, such steps were necessary if the very notion of friendly-fire was to be abolished. It wouldn’t do for her to rid the ailing Republic of the newly reformed Order of the Silver Jedi of a warship due to a careless misfire - botching the operation long before it had even begun. With such movements in mind, she wordlessly commanded that the two Noble-Class Star Defenders and their squadrons moved towards their assigned vectors and acquired similar targets with their long range weaponry. It’d be foolish to charge into the fray without softening up their opposition beforehand, but as she had noted that’s exactly what one of her allied Commanders had already done, Astarii merely shook her head. Nevertheless, their folly would prove to be beneficial to her overall strategy. Let them devour the brunt of the enemy’s fury, while we fire - safely - through the gaps in their battle line. It would not last, but as the Hapan was an opportunist, she would milk such a chance for as long as she was able too. And so, with her orders silently given by manipulating the tactical hololithic display affixed before her, the Fleet Admiral began running theoretical simulations to compensate for the scant delay in information. If she was to be hampered by the sheer amassed naval prowess of the galaxy, then it was well within her rights to toy with fate in whatever way she saw fit.

Outside the command deck of the Leviathan - Super Star Defender, Astarii’s orders had been transmitted to the various Captains assigned to the Thirteenth Expeditionary Fleet, which in turn had seen them follow their Flag’s suit. They began moving into position, coming about if required and cycling the heaviest long range weapons they had at their disposal. Javelin series Hypervelocity cannons hummed with the personification of anticipation, as they waited for their significantly smaller cousins to lock onto their assigned targets. Projected paths were mapped, as turrets swiftly ratcheted into place. As soon as the soft chime echoed from the Weapons Master’s console, the Order to Open Fire had been given. The bespeckled canvas of night was painted in a vivid array of emeralds and sapphire. Coruscating bolts of nuclear lightning and barely contained ionic storms burst forth from the howling maw's riveted to the warships of the Alliance flotilla, burning a path through the nothingness of the void as they were cast towards their intended targets. The first salvo was away, but chasing after the blinding display of manifested death, came the fatal blows. Nearly a dozen Javelin hypervelocity cannons roared in the silence of space, spitting out a relentless torrent of towering slugs in rapid succession. The massive magnetic accelerators within the bowels of each titanic war machine had seen these weapons propel their payloads at superluminal speeds towards the greatest of their foes - intent on slaying the beast with a single, decapitating stroke.

Though they were too far out to do much good, of those fighters that had begun to scramble, only the Interceptors were cleared to disembark. Several squadrons of A-wings had found themselves thrust into the depthless-ness of space. It was there that they would perform their assigned duties, and shoot down any missiles, energy projectiles and various torpedo variants that would most likely be deployed during this Breakthrough Operation. They screamed out their respective vessels like Hornets seeking to defend their Hive(s) and began weaving intricate patrol patterns across the breadth of their carriers.

From there, her fleet’s defenses were set, and the Fleet Admiral with her fellow Captains within the Thirteenth readied themselves for whatever would come next.

"Mary Mother of Vader..." The sensor technician commented, "Sir, you should look at this!" Carlyle peered over into the crew pit to gaze at the screen, but the TIE Ops officer beat him to it.

"Captain, no use looking at the screen, look out there!" the Officer cried.

Carlyle peered through the depth of space, and watched the One Sith fleet, he found it hard to suppress a look of shock and surprise, "Kark." was all he could say, "Holy kark."

The Helmsman looked at the officer, "What are our orders sir?" he asked.

"Move to defensive positions, we don't want to give these Sith bastards an edge, y'hear?" Carlyle commanded, "Carriers to the back, I want us leading the charge." he turned to his crew, "Gotta get some kills now, don't we?"

"What about the Galactic Alliance sir?" The sensor technician asked , "We have multiple GA signatures coming out of lightspeed."

"Don't take any notice of them unless they start poodoo. We hold positions and press the attack to the Sith, understood?"

"Yessir!"

As the fleet of ships began to form up, the flotilla she was part of began to move in postion, the omega force outnumbered them. Then multiple other ships came out hyperspace, this had to largest armada she have ever seen. The ship's intercom began to light up, as communications went back on forth from the fleet. All requesting new orders from the admiralty, no doubt [member="William Kerkov"] and [member="Cyrus Tregessar"] had there hands full. They must be trying to come up, with a unified plan with the others that just come in. As before that moment they where outgunned by omega fleet, now they had the advantage. As they waited for new orders, one of the mandalorian fleets began to move towards them, and a fleet wide order came out, Do not fire on the Mandalorian clans unless fired upon, I repeat do not fire! As the order was acknowledged, group she was apart of was not near that flank, her ships began to move forward to wards the enemy line, as they did they saw ships began to engage the omega flank on star map. Then the artillery frigates, moved into firing line, and opened fire at omega forces, this firing resolution was to prove they where not allies of the omega forces. They where here to destroy them as well, hopefully this resure the mandalorian fleet that omega is the enemy not them. Soon it would be her turn to order the firing resolution on the enemy fleet, she had her lucky hip flask in her uniform. She desperately wanted drink from it, this was first time in any naval engagement she was sober. As she watched the map unfold, she wonder if the fleet commanders where going talk to each other, or just trust one another not to fight anyone but omega.

She really wanted to sit captain chair, have drink and say full steam ahead, but she could not as this was disciplined fleet, and not her old pirate fleet.

It seemed that everyone in the galaxy had turned up for this little fight. A quick glance over the large holo-display in the center of Combat showed many of the more infamous ships were present. Some, like the Leviathan, he had seen several times before. Others, such as the Alor-class Dreadnoughts that all the Mandalorian fleets seemed to have he knew about only from the various intel reports and technical readouts. Even the Emperor's Shield was there, though no doubt it carried a different name now.

For several moments, Cyrus found himself uselessly wishing that only a fraction of the ships were here. He would have loved to test his mettle against just the Mandalorian Armada, to see what he could manage against the infamous destroyer of Dromund Kaas. Or to face the Galactic Alliance alone, where no doubt the legendary Lord Protector was leading ships once again. They'd never really gotten into it in the skies of Fondor or Atrisia, which was really a damn shame.

A scrolling list of different vessels and ship classes listed both Mon Calamari and Directorate ships, and have another bout his two main Republican rivals and their respective fleets. So many old enemies were here, and yet he felt as if guided by some other power that today would not be a day for renewing old grudges. Today was to be the struggle of a father versus his children, the mentor against the protege, the master facing his apprentice.

So far, the odds were in the favor of the Sith.

There was no way around it, the First Order faced a tactical conundrum. Their ships were well made, tough and vicious in a fight, but lacked long range firepower. In contrast, the One Sith excelled in it, from the Immortals all the way to the not-quite-ubiquitous Boneshatter frigates. Common logic said in that case you closed distance and negated the enemy advantage as quickly possible. But that assumed you weren't outnumbered two-to-one. Charging 'straight at em' might have worked for Admiral Ackbar once or twice, but it was a recipe for disaster here.

They needed something a bit more complex. In the time it took to analyze the displays and observe the arrival of more reinforcements, Cyrus had a plan.

"Contact the intel suite, I want all transmissions heavily encrypted, First Order Battle Cipers. Start using the words 'Galactic Alliance, Republic, Coalition, and Allies' as breaks. Leave the ciper just vulnerable enough that any dedicated effort can figure out most of what those words are. I want anyone who's listening closely to think the only thing we're talking about is the Alliance."

The officer on the other end, a senior Captain, gave Cyrus a quizzical look that lasted only a moment before realization dawned on him. With a clipped 'aye aye' he cut comms and went to work.

"Open a pulsed tightwave comm to all First Order ships. Instruct them to fall into a wedge formation. Heavy cruisers and assault frigates out on the nose, destroyers making up the forward wings, carriers and the Concordia protected in the center and escorts throughout. Oriented with the two sides facing the Sith and the Alliance, and away from the Mandalorians."

This was a golden opportunity. With their chief rival in the galaxy occupied by the ostensibly greater threat before them, the First Order had an opportunity to deal them a crippling blow from which they would be unable to recover. The trick of course would be letting the shooting start in earnest before joining in, and keeping everyone else guessing until then.

The other commanders of the First Order ships were mostly unknowns to Cyrus. He'd read some bio's but could count himself familiar with only one, the infamous Admiral Yvarro. They had been peers of a sort once, under the old Sith Empire, though they had never worked together. Her reputation was solid, and he doubted that her of all would tolerate useless commanders among her subordinates. It stood to reason that the various Admirals and senior captains would be able to figure out what was actually going on easily enough.

At some point during all this a group of First Order ships had begun to fire upon the Sith. Cyrus smashed his fist into the console in front of him, then with a wince of pain restrained his anger and forced his thoughts into a form rational enough to use this to his advantage. Those ships would draw fire and while they'd likely soon die, they could potentially draw out some Sith ships, or at least help keep everyone's eyes away from the fact that the entire First Order force was about to pointed like an arrow at the Alliance.

But something needed to be said. He opened a channel.

"All First Order ships, this is Grand Admiral Cyrus Tregessar. I expect my orders to be followed to the letter, and any indication of insubordination will be punished immediately by turbolaser barrage. Understand that our objective has not changed, and that your compliance is necessary for victory. All ships are to cease fire, return to formation, and await further commands. Tregessar, out."

He stood looking at the faces in the briefing room. Many with the face of fear while others looked with a sense of determination. A lot of them knew today may be their last but it was for a final blow to the one Sith. Vile scumb who had to be put down for the better of the galaxy. Crossing his arms firm behind his back taneas stood tall in the gray, red and yellow uniform. "You all know me now. I don't coat things to make them sound better than what it is. This is no exception. Intel has been spread across the net and fleets are growing in masses. Its thanks to the Silver Jedi and the new republic we have the opportunity to have the chance to join them. Thanks to their funding we will show them it wasn't the wrong choice. But I don't know what we'll be heading into. But I do know we will come out of this as victors." His voice was deep, rough and gave off a tone of authority.

"Lieutenant Kilia step forward. You will be leading the assaults in the split wings. Your objective is to make sure the b-wings can hit their targets when called out. Lieutenant Gan. You will lead the b-wings your primary objective is shield generators and engines. Take them out our ships can rain fire. Officer Parry your leading the vesparum's keep their fighters off us and use the cruisers to lure them into traps. Finally Reen Lorgon. We have sorted you out with two additional ships. Both dynamic II class. You'll back up the split wings and b-wings. Now this is to all of you. Don't take unnecessary risks. It could out you and your fellow pilots in danger." He felt a sense of pride Looking at all the young men and women. All giving up a normal life to be pilots of the republic. Most importantly the twenty third fleet. "Okay everyone to your stations. Dismiss." Standing straight he'd salute them all be for he and they left.

The corridors where long and almost impossible to see down to the other side. The walls kept a consistent white with wires, pannles and pipes clinging tight to them. Everyone onboard now rushed about getting into gear and to their stations. The pilots who weren't on shift should have go over all the starships making sure they are in working order. The crowded elevator took taneas up towards the bridge each time getting emptier till it was two. Looking down at the young red headed girl he realized it was a person he'd yet to meet. She remained stood straight and arms behind her back. With how long the ride up was it must have became uncomfortable by now. "You don't have to do that." He spoke braking the silence. "Urrm excuse me sir?" She replied in a confused soft voice. "Standing straight. I don't expect crew to be like it all the time especially going into battle. Anyway what's your story?" The girl relaxed a little and turned to face taneas.

"I've spent the past few years at the acadamy learning to become the best I can be. I was one of the ones in my class to receive top marks. So it was no surprise I was stationed here. Well when I first got given my deployment I was. But it was a logical choice. I'm glad the new republic contained funding for the acadamy. The galactic republic was getting ready to cut funding. We where worried but stood strong sir." She looked nervous hoping that at any point she didn't speak out of term. "Heh. Whats your name?" "Lieutenant Ciena Litvyak sir." "Whats your post?" "I'm on duty for navigation sir." His eyes snapped to the door as the elevator hummed getting ready to stop. "Well Ciena. Work hard and I'll be keeping my eyes on you."

Walking onto the bridge he listened to low voices barely able to hear a word anyone said. Most here knew Taneas enough he'd prefer them to keep focus than formalities. It was good when appropriate but going into battle it was distraction. "How long till we drop out?" He said walking to the tactical table. "We are less than a parsec out so eight minutes roughly sir." "Right. Upon exit I want sensor pings around the fleet. Bring up all friendlies and enemies, unknowns as yellow per usual." The tunnel soon faded into black space. shortly after the sensor pings taneas gave out a small smirk. "Communications send a message out to admiral [member="Reshmar"]. Tell him we'll back him through this."

Command Bridge, Resurgent-class Star Destroyer 'Concordia'

Colonel Roderik von Brinkerhoff braced himself, albeit unnecessarily, against the holo-table he stood over. He prepared himself for the momentary reversion to real-space from the jump through hyperspace. The sensation was always a bit strange though the veteran starfighter pilot knew it was more psychosomatic than anything else. The artificial gravity and starship's inertial compensators rendering any physical discomfort all but unnoticeable.

The return to normal space was the physical cue Roderik required before sending out an alert notice by way of a small hand-held communications device attached to the holo-display table. The comm-line went straight to the space traffic controllers operating out of the primary hangar bay - themselves now operating on full combat footing.

"All squadrons, scramble." He spoke coolly, calmly. He refrained from adding the cliche, 'this is not a drill ' to the end of his message. It should have been quite apparent to every one of the men and women under his command that this was the real deal, a combat scenario the likes of which the galaxy had not seen in.. More than a few generations.

Roderik listened to the confirmation of the order on the other end of the line, and then deactivated the comm-link and set the receiver back in its holding dock on the table. All pilots were already in their cockpits, prepared for the immediate launch of their squadrons at the exact time they arrived - a level of coordination that had steadily grown in the short actions the fleet's wing had seen in recent times. Nebula fleet's foremost fighter squadrons, based from the Concordia, would be providing initial point defense for the maneuvering second fleet.

"Good luck." He said quietly to himself as his mind would momentarily dwell on the fact that he would not be out there in the cockpit with them. For the moment, at least. Command had its price, and that price was a lack of adrenaline and an increase in regret. How many of his pilots would not be coming back at the end of the day? How many of those pilots lost but not forgotten would be his friends? The 100th..

Roderik pushed those thoughts from his mind as he glanced quickly towards the other end of the vast star destroyer's bridge, towards [member="Natasi Fortan"] and her on-going efforts to corral the fleet. He was certain that these fleeting thoughts of loss were not his alone.

Gir surveyed the unfolding battlefield through the holo-tank and grumbled. More ships continued to revert into real space from all sides. With the reversion of the Leviathan on his ships's port side, Gir decided to swing most of his ships hard to the starboard to give the massive ship and its accompanying vessels more room to work with. However, he did not feel like bringing into the thin-shelled carrier corvette's into play at the moment would be in their best interest. As the Black Sword swung to its right side, Gir watched the Republic ships under Miss Loulan leap forward to meet the rogue One Sith warships. It seemed peculiar to Gir's mind, yet he could understand the zeal behind such an assault. The One Sith, after all, had been behind many atrocities over the years. Maybe it's personal. He shook the thoughts away as he planned the maneuvers for his warships.

"We're moving too quickly into this," decided Gir, "Comm, signal all ships aside from our carrier corvettes to drop down to minimal impulse as per our contingency orders."

"Presenting broadsides for a running exchange?" said Captain Hobbs.

Gir slowly nodded in acknowledgement. His pursuit lines along with Crimson Dagger Group were the last to cut down their speed, bringing them out in front of his own heavy line, which in turn was trailed by Steel Blade and Shadow Hand groups. Presenting broadsides to an opponent was hardly the pinnacle of military thought, yet he thought it would serve temporary tactic until he fully understood the nature of their enemy and those around him. A cautious play...but that doesn't necessarily mean it is a less offensive one. His eyes fell upon one of the closer rogue Sith warships that had begun to fire on the assaulting Republic forces. An Invidia-class Cannon Cruiser...not the most dangerous ship present, but a worthwhile target nonetheless. He began to type in various commands into his console that would then send signals throughout the rest of the Directorate-Silver Jedi expeditionary forces to initiate their actions in the slugging fest.

His first command sent the Erebus jamming arrays mounted on his Tercel-class Cruisers and Delphin-class Frigates aimed and targeting the Spite, with contingency orders to immediately shift the efforts of their jamming to any warship that fired on them. The devices began to add extra sensor information to the sensors of the cannon cruiser in an attempt to mislead or confuse its targeting computers. Even with almost a dozen of the jamming devices directed on that vessel, Gir doubted that he would be able to completely stop the vessel from firing semi-effectively against other ships, but he knew that he had likely just made lining up a shot with it against one of the smaller vessels much harder.

His second command put almost all of his long-range available firepower against that same cruiser. The hypervelocity cannons of his heavy frigates slowly turned like the hands of a clock to point at the Spite before they began to rhythmically fire at the bulk of the warship. Smaller mass driver cannons on the Tercel-class Cruisers and Delphin-class Frigates flooded the free space between Gir's ships and the cannon with solid shot. While individually little more than cap guns at such long ranges, Gir knew that semi-accurate area fire would aid the other weapons in eventually battering down the ship's shields and into the hull itself. Shield-busting plasma energy torpedoes from the heavy cruisers streaked across space in brilliant shades of incandescent blue while Firelance torpedoes launched out of the same ship's general purpose launchers slowly plodded towards their target. It could have been an impressive display of firepower, but it was hobbled. Hobbs and Gir watched as the Silver Jedi fleet maintained strict fire control to avoid hitting Republic ships that occasionally neared the warship's firing lanes. Hobbs watched as a quartet of plasma energy torpedoes streaked pass the Matteus towards the Spite.

"We may want to consider enlarging our safety parameters," suggested the graying captain, stroking his double chin, "we're less likely to have a friendly fire incident."

"There would be a corresponding tradeoff in fire that we are giving the enemy," said Gir, "with the exception of our guided munitions. I am not so sure we can afford to do that with an enemy as ruthless as they are. Communications, signal the Matteus and transmit to them our fire vectors. I imagine they will not want to wander into them. If you can, see if you pull their projected flight paths from them to help make sure that we do not hit them."

"Aye sir."

Gir knew that with the vastness of space and basic geometry of their ship's position, the chances of their weapons fire hitting friendly ships was small unless such ships were engaging each other at point blank range. However, it only took miscalculation of several degrees and an unpredicted action to see a volley of slugs intended for the One Sith warship to slice into the Matteus's stern; a thought that he did not relish. He watched the Republic carrier attract enemy fire with mixture of pity and cold calculation. Perhaps I ought to widen the safety margins just a little bit. He adjusted the standing orders and turned his attention back to evaluating the progress of the rest of the battle through his console.

The sensors officer of the Black Sword and the communication officer of the Steel Blade noted some unusual communication's traffic coming out of the First Order fleet. It'll be interesting to see what they will find if they are able to decrypt any of it in time for us to use. Closer to the Black Sword, he could see the allied warships were concentrating fire on other ships near the Spite. Gir stroked his chin. I suppose it's now a question of who will draw their return fire...

Summary of Actions:
-Cruisers and frigates turn to starboard to present their broadsides to the rogue One Sith forces
-Carrier Corvettes come to a complete halt in their entry hex
-Delpin-class Frigates and Tercel-class Heavy Cruisers attempt to misdirect/confuse the targeting sensors of the Spite(01.10)with their Erebus jamming arrays
-Delphin-class Frigates and Tercel-class Heavy Cruisers open fire on the Spite (01.10) with their long-range weapons (hypervelocity cannons, mass driver cannons, plasma energy torpedoes and Firelance torpedoes)

In her five years of service, she had been promoted once to lieutenant, in that time she had seen countless flights, battles where she watched comrades fall and die in their cock pits, however in that time she grew better a ace she'd say herself

She was awoken from her day dream as she for the scramble order had been given, she gave a grin as she got up and ran pulling her comm off" bolts 2 3 4 and gunners get your ties prepared for flight asap " she had been given two elements, four pilots and gunners, three other ties including herself

Within five minutes the group was within their ties as ground crews finished fueling system checks were being ran as they did, helmets were sealed and secured, adrenaline was running through their veins, so what they were briefed on this was to be their biggest battle ever noted in the galaxy

Alright tower 301element bolts is ready for lift off" she spoke as she took a breath in

Copy that element bolts lift off immediately God soeed" the tower said back

She smiled as she kicked her engines to full as she shot out with the three other ties following" alright folks keep it tight once we get enemy targets I want us to split, bolts 2 and 4 you go together, 3 your with me" she said as she closed her eyes, she prayed...prayed to what she didn't know...that all of her men would come back safely and without harm to them...something told her that wouldn't be so...

She watched in the distance as the skies lit up...

Neutrals: The Galactic Alliance, The Mandalorians

[media]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5aezS1FbiM[/media]
Yvarro stood in her command center, hands behind her back. Her eyes studied the holotable's stratagem the Galactic Alliance was forming up on their right and the Mandalorians on the left. One group seemed to be hell bent on coming after the Order. Yvarro decided to leave this up to Grand Admiral Tregessar - they had indeed, been colleagues once, if only in passing. She admired his tactical brilliance and thus trusted him - of course after running her own scenarios, just to be sure. "Admiral battle ciphers and pulse coming in," Lieutenant Galeway reported as she monitored the communications section. "Putting it through to you now."

She stood listening intently, hands still behind her back. Her blue eyes were vacant as she listened to Tregessar. Narrowing her gaze she looked at the map, "the Grand Moff will form in behind the fleet, Lieutenant Commander Walzer. Move us, and inform Bravo to fall in behind Delta. I want Alpha and Charlie to move up as well. Stay together - give the other fleets room to maneuver." Yvarro then made a mental note to ask Tregessar about formation drills. One would assume that a nation such as the First Order would have had conducted naval drills, and the assumption would be wrong. They were still building a Navy and hadn't been concerned with drills before. Now though, now they'd have to just learn on the job as it were.

"Walzer, inform the Dosuun to deploy her squadrons and tell Lieutenant Commander Pavanos to deploy her group as well. I want our attack crafts at the ready." Yvarro instructed Walzer nodded in acknowledgment. Yvarro never once took her eyes off of that holotable, for she thought about it - how strange, how strange it was to be in the company of the Alliance, the Republic, the Silvers, the Mandalorians and their Crusaders. How strange, and how odd - she wondered if they would kill each other first - making short work for the Sith. Or if for this once they could put aside all their petty squabbles and focus on the greater enemy. Surely, they could all kill each other when it was over. When their galaxy, their homes, their families were safe. Maybe. But then she was sure just as she never held them in too high of a regard except for a few of their Admirals, such as [member="Reshmar"] and [member="Gir Quee"] - she was sure they did not hold her or the First Order in too high of a regard, either. And so now as the old Admiral pondered on such things. She turned on her heels and looked out her forward viewport.

Here in her command center or the conning tower as some referred to it. She pondered how this might all turnout, would the galaxy turn upside down with the defeat of these Rogue Sith? Or would they all burn at each other's hands? A smile curled on her lips as she turned her shoulder just a touch, looking over the cipher's that Tregessar passed out to all First Order ships. And so we shall deceive them all, Tregessar? We shall allow the Alliance to move in, make it so - we would attack them. And at the last moment, drive our wedge straight into Sith forces, providing an opening for the Mandalorians? Her smile disappeared. So let it be then, the First Order shall bear the brunt of the charge - and if we get this right, Tregessar. The Galaxy will not be the same. Although, I suspect you know this already, old friend. They were going to end this - even if it meant their very lives or the lives of half of the First Order's finest. Or perhaps, the Mandalorians will simply burn us all on principle to their crusade, perhaps the Alliance will decimate our fleet before we even get the chance... We'll soon find out.
Summary of Actions:
FIV Dosuun and FIV Sloane deploy their hangars.
Strike Force Avalonia moves into Wedge formation.
All ships still full hp, facing forward

Aboard The Fortress
Objective: Start the light show
Allies: Those with the Mythosaur
Alexandra watched the other fleets come out, the sound of constant questions and information being pushed her way as those around her talked about the size of this engagement. The Sith Fleet was by far the largest here, matching its size to those who were unfortunate enough to match it alone. Yet it seeemed that would not be the case, atleast not in the beginning. For now all ships were focused on the thread to their galaxy. It was a relief to see those of warring nations more focused on a rogue element with a potentially unspeakable weapon. She had yet to even know what the weapon is capable of but she knew how the sith worked. It would not be a lightly armed one.
Her hands gripped tighter as she tapped her fingers, finally speaking up and to the comms officer. They needed to fire off weapons, and she had the craft able to hit their enemy. Overall her force was one of minimalization, keeping to large craft and large guns over that of a fighter option. Unlike her old friend, she was not so confident with ships of smaller stature, even if the damage they could cause was significant. She prefered weapons that shouted when fired, that burst into the air with a volley of green and red. Her eyes watching as the officer waited for orders and with a smile she had not worn in years, she let Hel take the seat.
"The Clothe and the Atropos... move them into positions and tell them to open up on that formation of frigates. Keep the fire close together and only use Long Range Weaponry so that the damage is controlled. Even if the ships are on the outskirts of firing range for the main weapons, they would be too unreliable and their punch would be less or risk striking our own allies. Have the Fortress, Lachesis and escorting cruisers stay behind the forward destroyers, all shielding to the frontal portion and keep weapons hot and focused on the closest destroyer group. There is a chance it will return fire, and i want us ready.
Move the Deliverance Classes up, keeping them on escort duty with the forward Destroyers. I want them to stay behind and keep cover though, there is no reason to have them running out when they hold no offensive weaponry. They will stay in reserve until such a time that they are needed. The Clothe and Atropos are to prepare their assault craft but not launch without my explicit permission. Only when i give them the command are they to launch craft. The only time when this will not apply is if their comms are physically damaged beyond communication, at which the commanders of the ships will reserve the right to launch their fighters upon their time of choosing.
We will prepare for movement as soon as the space is clear and the destroyers move up. Keep all long range guns focused on the closest destroyer group, but powered down with shielding reinforced until we are certain that it is time to strike. Have the Omini's launch their dedicated dovin basals and deploy them in a defensive web around the Fortress, they will cover our ass and protect us from stray turbolaser fire and projectiles i would rather we are not struck by..."
She was a bit disappointed in those of her allies and herself. The lack of material weaponry would make striking the Omega much more difficult. With the web of ships protecting it, she knew that it would take a while before they could come within viable range of harming the weapon. With physical weapons such as acceleration cannons, they could begin fire from afar without worry of coming into range of the weapon or the enemy, lobbing rounds with no deteroration of speed or loss of precision. It should have been a no brainer to her, but she had been informed that it would be in ill mind by her other half, one that wanted its body back.
With resistance on her own part, Hel loosed herself from control over the body that she shared, allowing Alexandra to regain command of it with the bloodlust of a smile gone and her face returning to its calm state. She would not have been able to give the command with such confidence, knowing that she wasn't entirely comfortable with causing this much damage but she had Hel for that reason. She could sacrifice her body to keep her mind so to speak, letting the creature she had created speak and control her for those few moments she would ever allow it to have command.
"Officer, any ship that surrenders is to be protected to the best of our abilities and seized. I am unsure how well the Mandalorians will take to this policy but i do not care. If they have a problem with our protecting those that surrender, then it is for them to discuss after the battle is through." The message would be relayed without hesitation, it being a policy that this crew knew well. These were men that had served with Solan before, and it was his policy that she was passing on. Those who surrendered would be treated as men with honor and knowledge enough to spare unnecessary suffering and death. It was something that few others even considered offering an enemy, and it was something that her friend found pride in. She might as well keep him an honest man while commanding his men.
(Will add an IC part in a short time, wanted to get the game part out so people can plan around my movements. )

The First Order fleet was but a rodent in comparison to the beast of the Rogue Sith Fleet. In the face of such odds many would coward, or shirk their duties. The First Imperial Navy was made of no such sailors, although many would not live beyond this battle, these men and women stood tall in front of the prospects of certain death. The Grand Admiral held the highest respect for these brave few, sadly he would not be given the chance to inform the personnel of such sentiments. His own fleet, the first, slowly moved into position. Of the block that was the First Order vessels, Kerkov and his own force would spearhead the heavily fortified arrangement of ships.

As Kerkov contemplated the situation Nublar started to shout orders in a exclamatory way, the grand admiral quickly ordered, "Captain, I want a report on what is happening, now!" The captain's furious look did not give relief to Kerkov's state of mind, he began to speak, "Sir Commander Bu-" He was cut off by the flag officer's held up hand. The grand admiral jaw hung open with utter terror as he watched Burn's fleet element broke through his own ranks and began firing on the Rogue Sith. For three minutes he stood in silence as the bridge behind him blew up in terrified excitement, with that he spun on his heel in almost a one hundred and eighty turn, "Give me a direct channel to the commanding officer of that fleet!" The anxious comms officer replied without hesitation, "Sir, Grand Admiral Tregessar has already instructed the Flotilla to return to formation,"

Kerkov slowly took a deep breath, if Cyrus has already given his command, then he would hold his own tung. The two held the same rank, and therefore the same authority. But due to Cyrus' past with the One Sith, he had been given senior command over the battle. Kerkov would still hold his command over the Sector Group, but if Tregessar willed it, it was Kerkov's duty to see that through. Kerkov nodded to the comms officer, "Understood, transmit fleet patterns thirty-one-eight, and fifty-two-six. We must re-arrange given our current situation. Scramble all attack craft, defense and escort patterns" The officer saluted and began the transmission to the rest of the First Fleet.

Kerkov watched once again from the bridge as his own, and the lead ships from each naval line, spurt out small star craft from their hangars, like insect clouds over larger animals. The ominous Rogue Sith fleet loomed in the background, a alarming sight for his own acute fleet. Surely his own, and the many others of the First Imperial Navy's names would be engraved in the history books, but it was very questionable whether they would live to tell the tale.

Movement of fleets. Deployment of attack craft. No firing.
