The Shadow
SPECIAL FEATURES
Dawn is a lightsaber reforged from the smelted Storm Breaker, using some inspiration from the former weapon by granting it a cross guard of beskar to protect the hand. The weapon was designed to be a beacon of hope. A counterpart for what Storm Breaker stood for. The beskar casing of the hilt was imbued by the Force to further enhance its natural durability against lightsabers and blasters. The Berylacite, a unique crystal previously owned by a Jedi Master, bestows protection against the Dark Side both emotionally and against the Force itself. Rath used the Durindfire that was slotted into Storm Breaker to serve as a second kyber crystal, utilizing the dual-phase feature. The combination of these crystals allowed Rath to tamper with it further in the Force to recreate the Force Light into the form of a blade. Effectively creating a strong weapon against the Dark Side users, and lastly, the blade emitter widens the blade to provide better defense against blasters.
- Force-Imbued (Durability) ~ The hilt, in addition to Beskar's natural resistance to lightsabers and blasters, is amplified to withstand greater punishment than normal.
- Berylacite ~ This kyber crystal bestows natural protection against the Dark Side as the inner Light within the crystal wards off such influences.
- Deflector Emitter ~ A specialized blade emitter designed to make the blade wider for improved blaster deflection.
- Lightsaber Resistant: Between the Beskar and the Force Imbuement onto the hilt, it boasts great resistance against lightsabers.
- Inner Peace: By influence of the Berylacite and the infused Durindfire, the wielder attains a level of emotional control that very few can break the calm focus. Dark Side users who rely on emotions would be less effective on the user's mind.
- Blade of Light: Once activated, the blade obtains the same properties as a Force Light.
- Force Activation: Unlike the modern use of lightsabers, this lightsaber can only be activated and maintained by the Force.
- Force Nullification: Not only would the majority of the advantages cease to function upon being nullified or suppressed, but it would also prevent the weapon from igniting at all.
- Lightsaber Weaknesses: Self-explanatory, but this lightsaber shares the weaknesses that they're known for. This includes being prone to short-circuiting upon coming into contact with Cortosis and water.
