This beauty of a blade is a hand and a half double edged sword that’s 38 inches long and weighs roughly 1.5kg. The sword is made out of beskar that was collected from the slain Mandalorians during the attempted invasion of Panatha by the hands of Rath himself. Most of his weaponry was broken in the aftermath of Panatha’s bombardment, but with the assistance of the local workers that managed to escape the devastation Rath survived and managed to recover what little of his equipment. After months of testing and analyzing the beskar from the melting process to practicing with the metal itself given that he had several suits of beskar’gam to work with. Rath took his broken phrik sword and the beskar to fabricate a brand new double edged sword.
The durindfire gem, a crystal that Rath originally intended to be his next lightsaber, was shaped in a crude form of a wolf head that makes up the pommel of the sword. This was in respect to Wulfengard as it was a symbol of his ties to the Eternal Empire. The blade itself to the handle was made out of beskar as a single piece. The cross guard was forged in phrik, and the beskar hilt was secured mechanically by beskar pins before the hilt was wrapped in supple leather.
However, Rath’s artifical abundance of midi-chlorians that continued to threaten to tear his body apart never ceased as darker powers began to emerge from himself and slowly unraveled outside of his control. To counter this, Rath turned to Sith Alchemy where he used his blood and countless hours of meditation to imbue the Force itself into the sword. From symbols etched into the blade, to the very crystal itself at the pommel. Rath forced the crystal to become the prime conduit of the midi-chlorians, activating the natural force energy within the crystal and through alchemy forged the very sword to become bound by the Force. The durindfire gem serves to store force energy, and through the wielder’s will expend said force to drain external force energy into the gem by contact of the blade. Additionally, the force energy infuses the weapon to become sharper and durable to an extreme extent or use the raw power of Force Lightning to coat along the blade. Causing a silver light of electricity flowing through the blade.
To contain Rath's Force energy, he stores his own energy into the gem and subtly discharges some of this energy to strengthen the weapon's sharpness and durability. Creating a cycle of store and expense to counter the force energy within himself and prevent the Force from killing him.
