Originally trained by the Jedi Order in the years leading up to the Clone Wars, Davron Feln was, at one point, considered a promising pupil of his clan of initiates. However, despite the promise that the young man showed, his future career as a Jedi Knight was apparently not meant to be, as the Knight who was originally going to take him on as a Padawan met his end in service to the Council and the Force. Many others were unwilling to step in and take him themselves, viewing it as some sign from the Force that the boy's destiny was not to be that of one of their Knights—and so his thirteenth birthday came and went, and Davron was reassigned to the Jedi Exploration Corps.

Luckly, despite what was generally regarded as a demotion, Davron thrived within the Exploration Corps. He was rapidly found to have a natural talent as a Jedi Pathfinder, and some of the Knights that were a part of the expedition he was assigned to took time to give him some extra, unofficial training in the usage of the Force and a lightsaber, though as he wasn't part of the main order, he never made his own. Indeed, to Davron, the Exploration Corps was the next best thing to being in the core of the Order.

When the Clone Wars broke out, Davron's expedition was called back and he was assigned to a combat unit instead. Originally, it was a continuation of his role as a Pathfinder, though this time it was finding new routes to break around CIS blockades, evading hostile patrols, and similar; during this time, he became friends with a guild-licensed Bounty Hunter, a Mon Calamari by the name of Pokva Mann, and they often worked together whenever Davron was needed to help insert a small strike force of Clone Commandos or other special forces units deep into CIS lines.

However, he ended up being reassigned to the Medical Corps, out from the frontlines, primarily to preserve him and his skills for after the war rather than sending him constantly into harm's way. He maintained his contact with Pokva, however, which eventually saved his life when Order 66 came about, as Pokva rescued him and kept him out of Imperial sight. While they tried to work together for some time as a pair of hunters, the Empire unfortunately caught wind of Davron's true identity. In a last-ditch effort to save Davron's life, Pokva froze him in carbonite and hid him, saying that he and his partner had had a falling out when questioned, and started making his way outside of Imperial space entirely, heading westward along the galactic plane.

Unfortunately for them both, Pokva had some unresolved debts with a crew of pirates. His ship, the Mudskipper, was ion-blasted out of commission, the pirates boarded the ship and killed Pokva, and then siphoned out all of the fuel and left the derelict floating in deep space. Hundreds of years later, the Republic Engineering Corporation found the derelict, which had been further preyed upon over the years, and took it to be reworked into a new prototype vessel. After finding Davron's carbonite-frozen body in the process, they keyed the chain code to his possession, intending to use him as the guinea pig for their new prototype, once it was finished and he could be awakened—though unfortunately for them, the carbonite casket was in fact stolen, and its whereabouts are currently unknown.
