Darth Tes grew up on Corellia on the outskirts of the City capitol. Although an orphan, she was raised by a couple, Twana and Cali Hedroke, who chose her out of an adoption center when she was merely 6 months of age. Twana and Cali always wanted a child but we’re told they were not able to conceive after multiple lab tests. Finding Tes was their miracle. Growing up in the outskirts of the city in a decent home she went through the growing social pains that any female would. From their first job, dance, and learning how to pilot a vessel to her first break up. Navigating the world through the eyes of a teen wasn’t easy but she knew the importance of education. Determined to remain focused on her schooling, at the age of 13 she was at the top 5% of her class and was found to have the “gift of the force” . However, the Jedi that sensed her ability warned his superiors that there was something deep-seated within her. Something that was purely evil…misguided..and resentful. Against his judgment, feeling that she could be taught to overcome these troublesome feelings that she had buried, the recruiting academy offered her a greeting to train under the temple knights of Corellia. She accepted the proposition with room and board and by the age of 15 she was enrolled. Learning higher education, physical training and development and the basic ways of the force, Tes was a promising student. Her Sponsor and Somewhat of a father figure, Pahul Vitorbreeze saw her potential. However, she was warned of becoming too attached to other ma too fast and trusting the relationships to flourish without a foundation. Determined to have everything and become the most popular, she began to deceitfully party, lie and fall to breaking the rules put in place for the academy’s students. One student, in particular, caught her eye and it seemed alove at first sight. His name was Arcubis, and he was a transfer from the academy on Coruscant. They would eventually become friends and even lovers but their actions would have them facing the school council's board and Arcubis ended up being suspended from the academy in his final year. Refusing to come back he wanted Tes to leave with him so they could explore the galaxy together and live belt their own rules. Tes agreed and would plan to meet him at a secret rendezvous spot located a quarter-mile from the academy. Sneaking out one night with the plan to never return, she ran as fast as she could in excitement and anticipation. However, she was forced to stop and listen in as someone had already met Arcubis there. Master Vitor was present and arguing with Arcubis in terms of free will and choices. He was also bringing up the valid point of corruption and how he can help both of them learn from the mistakes they’ve been making and believe to be right. Arcubis and Tes, who interrupted from the thicket of the trees agreed. After an intense battle of words, Arcubis would leave with Tes being unconscious. She awoke in the medical wing of the academy and learned that Master Vitor, who had his reasons resigned from the administration. The events that followed resulted in who she is today.
Tes’ anger, wanderlust and resentment for being left “alone” turned her into a raging child with a determination to leave the planet and start anew. She kept it hidden from the public eye until her graduation from the Jedi Academy after being able to attend under a probationary period. She would leave in search of Arcubis, the one who meant everything to her, but had no idea where to start. This is a galaxy after all. Her only lead would be a strange sensation through the force that seemed to lead her in several directions and not being able to find him she would eventually abandon her mission. Through learning to adapt to the environment on several planets, she learned a lot about survival, and one time during a raid on her campsite on the planet of Tatooine by a gang of space pirates she even made a friend. A Banshee bird out of its natural habitat defended its turf from the gang and took an unusual liking to Tes. With an impressive 7 foot wing-span and 1 foot beak, this beast was surely a threat. But it had a connection to Tes and refused to leave her side. She named it CeeTee after a pun on her parents' names. A royal protector, hunter and wise navigator. CeeTee and Tes would travel, scavenge and eventually hijack a decommissioned starfighter that was in a local junkyard to be scrapped. Reconstructing the interior to make enough room for CeeTee to ride along took several weeks but it was done and they would travel the galaxy together in short bursts between planets to give CeeTee many many times to stretch his wings and take flight in search for food for the both of them.
Years have gone by and she became desperate to find a place to call home and would establish herself amongst the treetops of a rainforest on the planet Loronar. She would build a treehouse and refine and enforce the walls eventually making it a good livable dwelling. Being high up enough to spot hostile creatures or forest rangers within the area, Tes and CeeTee were going to be ok. One morning, a tinkered radio interceptor that she kept near her cot would pick up an incoming transmission about a refuge for Sith and those that seek a new beginning. She figured it was time to travel and see what this was about..But if she were to make it there…She would have to leave immediately…Was this her new future? Or is the past like a receding tidal wave yet again approaching the shores of her mind?
